  • In this thrilling automotive adventure, join me as I embark on the ultimate DIY journey! Tackling the challenge head-on, I purchased a BMW E90 for a jaw-dropping 640€ and wasted no time diving into the nitty-gritty of repairs. Watch as I skillfully replace the ground cable for the engine, swap out the front subframe, upgrade swaybar links, and expertly install new inner and outer tie rods. With a keen eye for detail, I also address pesky engine oil leaks by fitting various gaskets. Buckle up for an exhilarating ride through the world of car restoration - where passion meets precision!

Oops, I'm late to the party this time... but awesome video again! I like watching you work and your editing is really good too. Seeing somebody do this kind of work on jackstands is quite impressive, love it! Also thanks for showing, how much you paid. That‘s very interesting as well.
Concerning the oil: In my experience 5W-40 is a good choice for M57 as well as M47, these engines share the same platform anyway. I would definitely prefer 5W-40 to a 5W-30, especially for older engines with higher mileage. Often oil pressure is slightly higher when using a higher viscosity oil, which of course is a good thing :)
    Happy holidays!

Is it a 318I or 316I or something we didn't get here in Canada? (Yea I'm in Tyranny ville). I've never even seen injectors like those before. They almost look like they're made for a tractor or something. Which could be true I guess seeing that the direct injection engines were first designed very similar to Diesel engine fueling. OH! It IS a Diesel!! THAT'S why I've never seen that engine LOL. I wouldn't have ever worked on the Diesel ones. LOL.
