Hi friends! I'm SO happy to be back. We have been working on some HUGE projects (hint: chess...paramedic...) that are coming very very soon!! So be sure to have notifications on :) I love you all and thank you so much for your patience as we knock out these huge edits.
These are the types of videos paintball needs. Showing new players that the sport is a fun game and not something that hurts and is no fun. I absolutely love this!
I’ve been playing since I was twelve, the biggest hurdle to get people out is always the fear that it’s gonna hurt and be scary, I like that this brings a positive light to learning and starting out
@@natestinson69 and there are moments that are scary and do hurt. But they are rare. I play as a 1 Rusher for our team so im always up front. Or when you get out and have to walk through 2 lanes and get 10 extra bonus balls, god that shit sucks. But i love it and wont stop playing anytime soon
Nick was the perfect guy to do this with. He is a really really cool guy. My favorite player since he was on Chicago Aftershock back in like 2011/2012 when I first started playing.

One of the harder things to teach is to get someone brave enough to bunker. They are always scared of being bit back from such a close range. But once you do it, that thrill and excitment of out playing your mirror and being able to press them in and run em down, no better feeling
I hate to point out that the close play was staged. He clearly put his gun down as she came around lol, he knew she was there but had no intent on reacting. 15:38
@@CelestialDesign yea it looks like he did decide to shoot the other coach not thinking she would push up, but her prematurely firing while coming up he redirected his focus to her and seemed to purposely not shoot back, still was great on her to go for it, it being a learning excercise tho glad they turned it down a notch for her since they clearly were way better lol

As an avid amateur paintballer this was fun to watch. We need more people playing this awesome sport and you did great against long time players. I hope you keep playing.
This was awesome to see! Nick is one of the pro players that I actually follow and he seems like a really good guy. His M3+ marker is one of my dream guns!
Very very cool of you to do that, man. Way to be a great ambassador for the sport. I've been a fan since the Aftershock days! Profits, Green Jerseys, and an Ego11 tearing up the snake side!
I have played for over 20 years. You had amazing coaches and you learned SO MUCH from them. You could see a marked difference between the average beginner and yourself at the end of the time being coached. Well done.
As someone who has spent 15 + yrs playing most weekends, I must say I really respect the way you displayed the game. Tv and movies always seem to dismiss safety, quality gear, teamwork, and the true skill it takes to play well. Shooting accidentally into a barrel bag is something we have all done. Im really glad you left that in there to show the safety measure put in place. You found a top notch coach in Nick, and someone who has been a great ambassador for the sport as a player, and manufacture rep. The player base of paintball thanks you for doing this the right way.
I was so hyped when you got the hits in and scoring twice was very impressive. You can tell at the start that it has been a while since you've done things like this but once you stopped being afraid of being hit you absolutely dominated. Amazing work and can't wait for whatever comes next!
As someone who has only ever done paintball as a weekend one-off, never as a sport, this looks so fun. We used guns that didnt shoot accurately, only had one lineup of bullets (like 15 or something) and we had to reset our guns every shot. Sadly there's no paintball areas near me that I know of.
I watched this expecting it to be crappy. But they thoroughly explained and gave her and the viewer’s a nice breakdown of competitive paintball. Love watching the sport grow.
I remember being stationed in Pendleton and just played sooooo much paintball for 3 years. I just remember thats where most of my money went. Lol speedball was just a rush. Actually got slaughtered against Dynasty as their warm up to their warm up for a practice day. We did not stand a chance T_T match was less than 2 minutes
@@nukiesduke6868 i imagine not as good as people would hope. Different tactics, different movements. When I was there, combat marines gravitated towards field ball more so. Which there was massive, so I could see why. Pendleton did have a paintball team though, I watched them and they were pretty good! Granted that was over 6 years ago, not sure if that team still exists
Nukies Duke typically not well. I played for my school while in college, as part of that we used to play West Point’s team regularly. Great bunch of guys but it wasn’t even close.
lol she bunkered a pro player! love how you fully embraced it and was fearless by the end. taking instruction well and keeping fairly calm mid 3v3. the best thing to see as an older player is when the new kids show up the next weekend even more excited to learn and play. I hope you played some more games after this video shoot concluded
I'm really happy to see someone as popular as you take an interest in paintball. I've been playing since 1998, did my fair share of tournaments, and it's been a great experience. Some of the best people I've ever met were because of paintball. I hope this video motivates others to get out and play. We often forget how important "play" is, even for adults.
I recently discovered airsoft and it’s literally predominantly adults loosing their inhibitions and pretending to be children again for the day - great fun!
Watching this after two years and I'm loving it. Nick is one of the best and I love everything about this video. From hearing the lessons I learnt back then to knowing what I understand now it's just great.
As a 6'5 player, she has the advantage of playing behind the bunkers but she can only go so high when snap shooting. I generally get the drop shots when they are laying lower and I can see over all the bunkers. Glad she is doing this though becuase love growing the sport.
I’m more into the paintball that you play in the woods or in a field or junkyard. My favorite by far is a Black Hawk Down setting. I’d love to see how she handles the battle of Normandy field in Pennsylvania.

Michelle should definitely try wildland fire fighting for the 2 weeks when they're out on assignments. The full experience on digging line all day, eating the MREs, and doing mop-up and being in the extreme heat. I think it would bring a lot of attention to the fires and everything that revolves around the Fire Departments in general.
Not to mention that’s literally life threatening for professionals only for a reason cuz anyone without a vast knowledge of this is likely to make a fetal mistake
@@xfaithoverwatch4235 uh she’s done stuff with dangerous activity before. Running a marathon with 10 weeks of training, being a firefighter and going through that, training for the marines, you name it. When she was training to be a lifeguard she could’ve gotten swept under the sea but people were there with her watching her. Same would happen if she ever tried wildland. Many departments have each other’s back and if she ever did it I’m sure the crew shed be put on wouldn’t be directly in any danger. She can always back out whenever she wants too. Just an idea because I doubt she’ll ever see this comment.
I just got my 9 year old involved and I volunteer ref at the local field to maximize his play time. I hope he enjoys playing as much as I enjoy coaching/watching and sometimes I play but I’m getting old. Such a fun sport
subscribed for this video. Im new to paintball and my first time playing I was like where has this been all my life. I knew of it but never really heard it was more than a group activity or birthday thing for kids. I am 29 and wish I knew of it when I was in high school because I never liked playing traditional sports. Knowing there is leagues, regulations and refs makes it the perfect sport and I desperately want it to grow. Thanks for helping
Hi Michelle! I just wanted to say thank you for inspiring me and so many others! You are an AMAZING role model to so many young girls, and are so sweet and strong! Thank you for inspiring me to do things outside of my comfort zone, and try something new! You are awesome!!
not just young girls but guys too! I'm a runt and cant compete with the average guy in anything but watching Michelle and also Demi Bagby inspired me to start learning handstands, with hopes of backflips in the future! I play airsoft though and yeah being small is such a big help.
yes ! Michelle gave me the confidence to switch to artistic gymnastics because I was in ballet and nobody wanted me to quit and it took a huge step in me since nobody believed in me !
Sometimes you just gotta choose fashion over function. I play airsoft in a button up shirt with a necktie every now and then, and I know a girl who plays in a skirt because presumably she likes feeling very feminine, but we both know it's not ideal for running and gunning. But I'll be damned if we don't look good doing it. Bonnie and Clyde didn't need military gear to strike fear into the American midwest, and neither do we.
Not gonna lie it’s cool to have to female friend that’s one of the boys in a sense but just the energy Michele gives off is so wholesome I feel like itd be like therapeutic to be around lol
I still think they should have taught her the 'firearm rules' as the first lesson. Shooting people in the foot was unacceptable and that's totally on the instructors
@@errhka it's not that simple. the triggers on tournament markers are extremely sensitive. Everyone shoots themselves or a teammate in the foot a couple times when learning
The trigger pull on paintball guns are measured in grams. It is nothing like a real firearm. Getting shot is half the game. Btw by law paintball markers are not firearms.
I saw the title and thought "oh she's probably just gonna have some local kids at Pendleton show her the ropes for a day or something." But then I saw Nick Slowiak show up and I was like "hold up, she got some real talent here for this!" I kept expecting to see Ryan Greenspan or Alex Fraige pull up and join in too, I know they play out there around Pendleton and San Diego all the time. That would've been cool to get to watch and learn from LA Ironmen and San Diego Dynasty together. Maybe observe a few points between them to see what full speed race to 5 really looks like 😂
You've gotta dance like there's nobody watching, Love like you'll never be hurt, Sing like there's nobody listening, And live like it's heaven on earth.
Michelle - thanks for doing this video and doing a very positive video about the world of tournament paintball! Those of us in the paintball world are always thrilled to see new people give it a try, and especially happy when someone with such a wide audience shares their experience!
She’s so cute It’s awesome to see people’s reactions that haven’t played before. I love To see so many new people play I think everyone should try Paintball
Yes!!! This is awesome. As a female division 3 tournament paintball player, I love to see more women trying it out! Also I'd rather get a face hit rather than anywhere else, especially the hands. I hope she keeps playing!! She's fast and she definitely could get good!!
2:39 "oh it's so smooth, right?" Nick Slowiak going right into the Dye Matrix sales pitch 😂. Those DSR's sure do shoot pretty sweet though. Can't get me to give up my Bob Long Insight, but if I were shopping for a new spool valve gun it would be either the DSR or the Shocker XL. Or I'll just stick to what I know and love and get a BL/FieldOne Onslaught or Victory.
For someone that was ranked D3 around 15-16 years old you played very good if this was your first time…the push up and bunker was impressive for a new player, shows your not scared

The full experience on digging line all day, eating the MREs, and doing mop-up and being in the extreme heat. I think it would bring a lot of attention to the fires and everything that revolves around the Fire Departments in general.
Why tf would she ever do that 😭 ppl know she doesn’t need to torture herself
This Is Probably the Funniest Video, I was Laughing My Ass Off The Whole Time.... Especially When She kept Misfiring On The Feet
That takes guts to be a beginner to the sport and take on a pro like nick slowiak. He’s a great player!
This is an AMAZING thing for our sport. Thank you, Michelle! Welcome to paintball!
You got to love Nick Sloviak on this video! such a cool dude!
She has a lot of stories to tell her children and grandchildren lol
for real
She can just show them her UA-cam channel lol
Thank you for showcasing the beautiful sport of paintball!
2:34 even with the face being covered you can see alll the excitement 😅
I just got my 9 year old involved and I volunteer ref at the local field to maximize his play time. I hope he enjoys playing as much as I enjoy coaching/watching and sometimes I play but I’m getting old. Such a fun sport
Michele at 3:48 ...
NOOOOOOOooooOOOoOOOO I don't wanna hit yoUUUUuuuUuU!!!!
Such a beautiful soul xx
Aaaaaand the next day she bunkers a dude at the 50 brick at point blank range lol Way to go girl ;)
subscribed for this video.
Americans don't know how much we Kenyans love them...America🇺🇲 Kenya 🇰🇪 loves you ❤️
❤️❤️
@John Pelerine weirdo
@@Glorfindel_117 You're right! Best wishes with your gymnastics!
yes ! Michelle gave me the confidence to switch to artistic gymnastics because I was in ballet and nobody wanted me to quit and it took a huge step in me since nobody believed in me !
@@klza Wow! You're so brave, best wishes ❤
Inspire you you have to try paintball? 🥺
You should definitely get back into this there's so much you can learn and friends to be made... Honestly this sport makes you a better person
Michelle is literally a hero. LITERALLY LIKE I CANT STRESS THIS ENOUGH LIKE- LITERALLY.
Dude I showed my room mate this and he was literally jumping g off the couch rooting for you in your 3on3.
Thank you for highlighting paintball! It’s a sport I’m very passionate about.
I love how Michele represents the girls who love pink but still wanna do cool traditionally male dominated things.
Not paintball until someone gets shot by someone else in the foot.... LOL
Nick and Nikki did great in coaching!
Btw by law paintball markers are not firearms.
daaaamn, getting coached by Ironmen and Nick bloody Slowiak, that's a very good start if you ask me
This is exactly the type of content we love to see.... we want to always challenge ourselves in our channel this is great👀🔥💛
Love this! They all seem so kind and genuine! I hope more ppl get into this sport!
Maybe observe a few points between them to see what full speed race to 5 really looks like 😂
You've gotta dance like there's nobody watching,
Love like you'll never be hurt,
Sing like there's nobody listening,
And live like it's heaven on earth.
I LOVE that, extremely correct!
Michelle you should do a video where you train like an Olympic sycronized swimmer!
YESS
I second this 🖐️
I INFINITE THIS!!!!! SHE MUST LOL
YESSSS
Nick is the man
As a paintball player I love this and you killed it! Hope you keep playing occasionally and get to see you out there!
You're the only UA-camr, whose videos get me excited after 3 months of inactivity and I have to click instantly
Paintball looks so fun. I'd play it so often if it wasn't for the "cha chings" I hear when the gun is firing. Paintballing is so expensive.
Michelle - thanks for doing this video and doing a very positive video about the world of tournament paintball! Those of us in the paintball world are always thrilled to see new people give it a try, and especially happy when someone with such a wide audience shares their experience!
I’m so happy your back I was so sad that you hadn’t posted
nick is such a great teacher.
Nick is such an awesome guy. I met him a couple times back in the PSP days!
Michelle is so amazing! I love seeing her believe in herself more and more throughout the episode 😊
She’s so cute It’s awesome to see people’s reactions that haven’t played before. I love To see so many new people play I think everyone should try Paintball
Great introductory to tournament paintball! Hope to have more UA-camrs try it out! Great video Michelle and team!
Happy Birthday Nick!
Yes!!! This is awesome. As a female division 3 tournament paintball player, I love to see more women trying it out!
Also I'd rather get a face hit rather than anywhere else, especially the hands.
I hope she keeps playing!! She's fast and she definitely could get good!!
D4
2:39 "oh it's so smooth, right?" Nick Slowiak going right into the Dye Matrix sales pitch 😂. Those DSR's sure do shoot pretty sweet though. Can't get me to give up my Bob Long Insight, but if I were shopping for a new spool valve gun it would be either the DSR or the Shocker XL. Or I'll just stick to what I know and love and get a BL/FieldOne Onslaught or Victory.
Omg Michelle ur challenges are amazing 🤩 it doesn’t matter wat challenge u take it’s just how much u put urself in it
Never thought I would see Nick Slowiak on this channel lol. This is awesome!
I heard he traded an Axe plus cast to get on the show lol
For someone that was ranked D3 around 15-16 years old you played very good if this was your first time…the push up and bunker was impressive for a new player, shows your not scared
Damn you’ve tried everything keep it up
Michelle is such a powerful girl and self confidence she do everything for we people fans sooo proud
Michelle*
Ohhh sorry

Love watching people get into the sport in the right way!
I’ve been waiting so long for a new episode!!
That's what life it's all about! Trying new things, enjoying yourself, going for it! I hope to try that as well one day!
you killed it!!! and got to play with an absolute legend of the game!!
Thats so cool that she played our sport! I hope she plays more!
It's so funny because she's trained as a marine and a firefighter etc. but she is like a little bunny. She's so cute. 😂❤️
