Good job! On mine I cut it in two, down the centre, fitted two hinges so it folds up like a butterfly wing. On the other side I glued on some camping foam mat with no holes. Insulated and comfortable, half the size. Also, I used 18mm ply and cut much larger holes about 38mm diameter but not near the rope fixing edges. My attachment points are more forward and doesn't restrict movement but give a better fix on the tree( and not so much downward flex) My pattern is different too, I gave a V cut out between the legs so just the underneath of the thighs are supported and that reduces weight too. Butterful makes it fold around your hips when carrying it over the shoulder, so very comfortable and less likely to catch on bush. I liked your saw blade idea.
That second half was thinned out a bit too much(at least for me and anyone above 210lbs), but other that that this was an excellent build. It looked very professional. Thanks for the upload 👍
Yes, Torges. As in Dean Torges. Thanks for taking time to illustrate your take on Dean's classic seat design.
That seat is sweet ! 👍
Howdy, Brother! Your seat design with the addition of the gripping teeth is genius. Thanks!! Much appreciated and Drive-On, Cowboy!! 🤠
