Dean Torges Tree Seat Tutorial

For the original vid I posted on the tree seat:

This is how I lay out and cut/put to use a tree seat. Just a bit of plywood and rope. The plywood is 5/8" thick. The rope is anything that might not stretch much. The holes are 1/2" for the rope.
These seats changed the way I hunt. I am way more apt to go deeper into the woods with a comfortable and light weight seat than taking my climbing stand. all day sits are doable, and if the location is not suitable, or you want to change it up for some reason, then you can move within just a few minutes.

Good job on your modifications. Should cut the weight down from the one I make. I tie my rope under the seat so I’m not sitting on the knot. Good hunting HGWT

A YT channel I subscribe to “ Dead Simple “ shoots his longbows from a similar seat , except his is a plastic seat and ratchet style strap.
I think I’ll combine the 2 ideas and see what happens.
