I watched the video and started to cry, not only because of the injustice to Mr Banks, but also the injustice to my brother, accused of similar charges and wrongfully imprisoned. I have spent several years trying to find someone who can help me to get my brother released and his name cleared. We are in North Carolina, a state still so filled with racism and a very unhealthy healthcare system. We need help before my brother dies in prison.
My heart aches for this innocent man. Laws must change now.

She has gone into hiding and skipped all of her court dates so I'm sure there is a warrant for her arrest and she will wind up spending some time in jail when caught. However he can pursue a civil case against the accuser and sue her for all she's worth for malicious prosecution, he'd most likely win given the fact that she confessed she lied and he was exonerated.

This is real. I was just falsely accused of sexual assault here in Japan spent 15 days in interrogation. The process was punishment and caused horrendous damage in my life I don’t know if I can ever recover from.Despite the charges being dropped, there’s now a mark on my record forever here that will be used against me in the future.

Didn’t she Confess on tape which was recorded against her knowledge? I think that’s inadmissible in court, doesn’t make sense to me btw, as far as I’m concerned a confession is a confession is a confession and evidence is evidence is evidence.
