Cats are such enthusiastic killers that outdoor domestic cats are one of the greatest threats to indigenous birds, small mammals, reptiles, etc., according to the Audubon Society. Keep your cats indoors or on a leash, folks. It's just responsible pet care.
Cats truly enjoy killing for sport. Dogs are nice only because we enslave them. Having less intelligence doesn't make you innocent. That word is meaningless. It's like calling viruses and bacteria innocent. The most developed species is usually the most capable of both good and evil. And the irony is that people who look humanity as evil are actually evil themselves. Acknowledging that humanity is the most evil species but also the most loving and caring species lead to nurturing the good while fighting the bad. The true evil people who want to enslave humanity, and have managed to do so already, wants us all to think humanity as evil. That paralyzes people, they do not fight the evil or nurture the good. Thus they become sort of allies to those who control the whole thing. Society brainwashes us all to become like that, unless you had superb parents who managed to save you from that. It's our job to break free from that brainwashing. One important thing to do is to stop consuming media. You mostly get lies and brainwashing there. The most common brainwashing is just to tell the same lies over and over for decades, it is simple and yet massively effective. But there are other ways too, which I won't go into. Of course enjoying movies and TV shows is still possible, especially after acknowledging that there is brainwashing in most of media. Just acknowledging that has shown to drop most of the effectiveness. Research is my passion, and these topics have been ones of the most important topics of mine. So forgive the long comment, and I'll digress.
Not true. Cats are solitary hunters, and that's how they express their stalking instincts. Make sure they have toys that allows them to exercise that instinct. Dogs (pack creatures) are content chasing balls or sticks.
That probably would've been cataclysmic. The Galaxy, (and the associated marbles that our reality seems to inhabit) are very likely a form of zero-point reactors, creating a bubble universe from which to extract an entire universe's-worth of zero-point energy without violating conservation. . Smashing it would either "release" that universe, causing essentially a second Big-Bang in our preexisting universe, or it would destroy that universe, in which case the energy still all has to go somewhere and might well just be another Big Bang anyway. No matter what happens, nobody's surviving it.

At 9:43 his prediction about that Micro Disc was actually not out of left field. There was always speculation about how small optical discs could get, which was likely the inspiration for the fantasy disc in the movie. This was a time when a several media formats were competing for dominance. One of those was called the Dataplay format which was released in 2001 began development in 1998. It used optical discs about the same size as the one Tommy Lee was holding. However, rather than the naked disc, it was encased in a plastic cartridge similar to one found on those old floppy discs, but with a more stylish design. It never caught on because the format only held 500 MB per disc, other formats were starting to get cheaper, and you couldn't re-write to the disc. ua-cam.com/video/uEISYaWgCRg/v-deo.html That video teaches more about the format.
Yeah, have to remember that the mp3 format that enabled so many changes in how we deal with music, from P2P file-sharing to making mp3 players a practical option for portable music storage/playback, was only invented in 1991 and didn't even get its final version until 1998. CD players didn't start routinely supporting the format until the early 2000s. If "medium-less" music tech (ie players that didn't require removable storage) hadn't developed so quickly, and done so in combination with exponential increases in the availability of bandwidth, transmission speed, and digital storage, and concomitant exponential decreases in the prices of same, minidiscs and other such formats would have had some time dominating the market. Didn't shake out like that, though. There's a relationship here with that old idea that, for a very long time, it was very hard to beat the "bandwidth" and "transmission speed" of a truck loaded with physical storage devices that you just drove to where-ever you wanted the data.
14:11 Uh, not just that, but this isn't the first time she got neuralyzed. Evidently D’Onofrio, in preparing for the role, watched a whole bunch of nature documentaries on bugs, watching all the stiff jerky movements and such. So all those crazy moves he did was literally inspired by insects. I love that level of commitment.
2 thoughts I had after watching this reaction video: - I always thought the restaurant the Arquillians were eating at was a Polish restaurant because I assumed they were eating pierogies - If I get an orange-and-white cat, there's a 95% chance I'd name it Orion (and a 5% chance I'd name it Creamsicle)

The bit where the Bug asked the vendor "Where do you keep your dead?" then smashed his display, it was because most of it was bug sprays and swatters. The bit where he talks about the 'infestation' to the exterminator before killing him, the receptionist at the morgue swatting whilst talking to him, and with Agent J squashing roaches to draw him back, it all shows his hatred for a race he considers primative and worthless regarding his own kind as inferior.

I loved The Fugitive and US Marshalls
One of the best thriller of the 90s. It would be amazing if VK reacted to it, assuming she's never seen it.
The Fugitive is top tier.
Thanks for reminding me, I've watched it many times but for whatever reason I've not seen it in forever. Time for another watch. ;)
Its Sequel US Marshalls is also epic! Early Tommy Lee Jones police and detective roles were top tier material! Just an amazing actor!

I think J's wardrobe change at the end of the movie is to establish that he likes to do things his own way, and not wear the traditional clothes of the MiB.
Jacket and tie aren't his thing, I guess.
He also looked like Neo which he turned down.

"Men in Black" is one of those rare trilogies where the sequels are still good.
Men in Black II is not as good as the original, but it's still very good.
Men in Black III, imo, is as good as the original. And it will blow your mind even more.
Disagree, every sequel is worse than the movie before. But eh, opinions and all that.
@@JDelwynn mostly so, but there are part 2's as good or better than the original. Imo Terminator 2, superman 2, godfather part 2 are three films that have good arguments to be as good or better.

Let me introduce you to the amazing movie Under Siege!!!
“Cats are just such innocent creatures.”
No one tell her that cats are are among the few animals that enjoy killing for sport. 😜
@@michaelccozens Cats are actually crappy at killing rats and mice. For birds and other animals though yeah, keep your cats indoors.
Not true. Cats are solitary hunters, and that's how they express their stalking instincts. Make sure they have toys that allows them to exercise that instinct. Dogs (pack creatures) are content chasing balls or sticks.
@@Caseytify Actually, it is true. Dolphins also enjoy killing for sport.
“I have this weird feeling of how tiny I am right now!”
Remember when you said Laurel should smash the galaxy to see what was inside?
That probably would've been cataclysmic. The Galaxy, (and the associated marbles that our reality seems to inhabit) are very likely a form of zero-point reactors, creating a bubble universe from which to extract an entire universe's-worth of zero-point energy without violating conservation.
.
Smashing it would either "release" that universe, causing essentially a second Big-Bang in our preexisting universe, or it would destroy that universe, in which case the energy still all has to go somewhere and might well just be another Big Bang anyway. No matter what happens, nobody's surviving it.
"Why did he wipe his memory?"

I really love the makeup effects on Vincent D'Onofrio. They took the time to make it look like he was decomposing over the course of the movie because it's supposed to be just a skin suit.

Just so you know, while the pug was real in the movie. When he shakes the pug, it's actually a fake dog. No pugs were hurt during the filming of this movie. ;)
SonOK, I heard exactly the opposite... that Will was the fake and he was NOT okay later on. j/k
That would have been repugnant.
Actually, the fact is that while they did use a fake pug for most of the shaking, there's a shot or two where they couldn't use the fake and you can see he's shaking a real dog but a bit more gently. However it turns out that the pug actually enjoyed the shaking quite a lot.

“Why the big secret? People are smart, they can handle it.”
“The person is smart. People are dumb panicky dangerous animals and you know it.”
And look what’s happening to our world nowadays.
And without aliens around, as far as we know
We are sadly a dumb people sometimes... Maybe in a few thousand more years we'll figure it out.
In point of fact learned people knew the earth was round. The just thought that Columbus was severely wrong in his estimate of the length of a western voyage to the Orient. Columbus actually expected to make landfall in Japan where he found Hispaniola.
Also, sailors weren't worried about sailing off the edge; just sailing so far they ran out of enough food and water to get back alive. Not much was known about Atlantic currents at that time.
@@XenoZbornak I know it's fashionable to say so, but we've done pretty well. At the very least we've seen the longest period of extended peace in Western history. Food production has gone up, virtually all Communist regimes have fallen, and freedom has never been so widespread.

This movie doesn't get old. Every time I return to it, I love it just as much.
This is one movie from my childhood that feels so nostalgic no matter how many times I see it. The 3rd movie in the series is actually really good so I can't wait to see your reaction, your always so much fun to watch with!
Mine too. Yet every time I watch it I see something new. Like how J winces at drinking the lemonade because the Bug ate all the sugar, or how Edgar pushes over the postcard salesman's stall because it's stacked high with bug spray!
The second one is a step down, but MIB3 gets things back on track.
both are way worse than MIB1
I think I like 2 more than 3. But I'm always surprised how good 3 actually is. Haven't bothered with 4.
Can anyone dissect the problems that MIB 2, 3 and beyond presented that lessened it? I hate to think that Will Smith was The Problem but I simply don't get into '2' until Tommy Lee Jones joins in, and by that point, I felt I was almost bored and kinda gave up. '3' brought me in with much much lower expectations and maybe it lived up (down?) to those, but still... I can't figure out what is so disappointing except "Tommy Lee Jones" and the "Newness/Freshness of the ideas were all gone." Maybe it was like watching BEVERLY HILLBILLIES... after the same lame standard jokes, they all get old and real fast.
@@BuffaloC305 Hard to say, but that's definitely why I haven't even seen the fourth one. A franchise about humans dealing with aliens, and the most interesting premise that they come up with is "What about London?"
Just... No. I literally can't think of a less interesting premise. Even if there was a movie about some regular person working as MIB immigration office worker, that would be more interesting.
Personally I think mib3 onwards was trying too hard to recapture the style, but the first 2 work good as a pair.

It never caught on because the format only held 500 MB per disc, other formats were starting to get cheaper, and you couldn't re-write to the disc.
ua-cam.com/video/uEISYaWgCRg/v-deo.html
That video teaches more about the format.
Remember at the beginning when J was in trouble and cracked the "I am half the man you are," joke, she was the one who came up and said to come find her because she found something weird about the dead body of the man/alien who committed suicide. But as she leaves, K arrives and neuralyzes her in the background before coming in to introduce himself to J.
That's why she has Deja Vu in this scene.
And why she is noplussed about the tiny dying alien in the robot body. Its probably not even her second alien autopsy rodeo.
2:45 For what...? 7:44 Ok, that's why. :) 4:02 Why...? :)

5:12 10:20 Vincent D'Onofrio as "Edgar" is just wonderful. 14:12 Suggest something she might have said ;)
17:22 That scene is fantastic. The music, the close up on Linda Fiorentinos beautiful eyes, and then the galaxy.
17:57 Even the alien is like 'are you serious...' :D
I really hope you’ll watch all 3. I find MIB 3 is the best of the series. The characters and story will warm your heart.
"I'm dying"
We're all dying.
From the first slap and cry, we all start to die.
Not sure you can technically make that claim pre-adulthood. Hard to describe a developing creature as dying.
I'll never forget being a kid and watching that movie. just one of those movies you see and you just don't forget. a true classic.
Regarding all the goo on the actors: Will Smith was completely grossed out by it, while Tommy Lee Jones kept saying, "Oh yeah, more."

A 90's classic. Love Vincent D'Onofrio (maybe you've seen him in the Daredevil show?) as the bug's Edgar suit. His physicality is top notch and I love how out of control he makes his body seem.
I also really enjoy Linda Fiorantino as the morgue dr. "She got this whole queen of the undead thing going on..." 🤣🤣🤣 She's mostly known for dark thrillers, but I find her really funny in this. It's a shame they didn't keep her for the sequel. ☹
I first saw her in Gotcha! with Anthony Edwards... goofy movie, but she was noticeable ;-)
I know her mainly from Dogma, which is another comedy take on a genre that's normally pretty serious.
For Linda Fiorentino, see... The Last Seduction.
Evidently D’Onofrio, in preparing for the role, watched a whole bunch of nature documentaries on bugs, watching all the stiff jerky movements and such. So all those crazy moves he did was literally inspired by insects. I love that level of commitment.
@@DanTasticEntertainment He's known for that level of commitment, so I'm honestly not surprised.

2 thoughts I had after watching this reaction video:
- I always thought the restaurant the Arquillians were eating at was a Polish restaurant because I assumed they were eating pierogies
- If I get an orange-and-white cat, there's a 95% chance I'd name it Orion (and a 5% chance I'd name it Creamsicle)
10:25- this is still my favorite thing Vincent D’Onofrio has ever done (I mean he was pretty good in Daredevil on Netflix; but it's just not the same.)
This reaction is pure serotonin ♥

Well, I wouldn't want any of my memories erased, even the bad ones.
The scene where Tommy Lee Jones (sorry if it’s spelled differently or not) shuts up the immigration officer just shows what Tommy is best for. He has a presence and a voice that could make an entire room of people go quiet and pay attention, it’s so badass!!!
