- In honor of the Demon's Souls remake coming out for the PS5, I have made this video. The grandfather of all Souls games has returned and has been given the proper overhaul it deserves.

Honestly... having not played Demon's Souls yet, or the remake, I get why people are shitting on the music (which, personally, I think the music is fine in the remake), but I'm still confused as to why people are shitting on the remade version of this particular track, I don't see a problem or a difference in tone. Personally, I think the remade version of this song is nicer than the original and the vocals add a bit more to it. May just be me from where I haven't played the original.
Would you happen to uh.. be putting a 1 hour video of the remake song of this? That'd be wonderful if so

this was my first souls game thanks to my autism and getting a ps3 from a guy on highschool dirt cheap.
Flamelurker and the maneater gargoyles destroyed me but man this game is incredible and so much fun

it's a weird feeling. it's like the fear of unknown but at the same time it sounds peaceful, but peaceful in a weird and scary way. like almost supernatural. the one who made this song did a very good work 👏🏻

Even though the later games are objectively better than Demon’s Souls, what will always keep me coming back to this game is the unique atmosphere it has. Dark Souls popularized the series. But Demon’s Souls is like a song that came before a musician hit it big. You can totally feel this game’s influence in later games, but it also has a totally unique feel that they just do not have

I think Demons Souls by far had the best music of any of the souls game. There is a reason people gush about the atmosphere of this game and the music does a lot of the heavy lifting. Demons Souls is so special to me, I love this game dearly.

if they played this in DS 3 in Irithyll of the Boreal Valley, would be insane how well the song matches the atmosphere of that place

I remember when I played this as my first soulsbournr game on the ps3 back when I was younger this song takes me back makes me want to cry
This is superior to the remade version because the remade version uses instruments with different timbres. Less expansive pads, higher attack on the bell noises, and worse delay effects. Whoever set the rate of decay on the pads did an outstanding job in the original version.
I can literally pick the new one apart bit by bit. Is the new one awful? No, absolutely not, but it will never reach this. The rise and denouement of this song is incredible for a track created on a computer. Nothing like it.

Played DS first then bought as ps3 just to play this. Good times. Was there when the servers went offline. Then played this on ps5, still good.

I think the reason people are shitting on the newer version is because OG players have extreme nostalgia from this game and thats why they wanted to feel as close to the OG as possible. The OG one makes you feel like you are trapped in darkness, yet u still have hope. Idk but it hits different. The new updated one is still very very good though and i consider it an equal, its just that the OG hits different.

I respect your opinion. I´m no one to say anything, as I haven´t played the Original or even, the remake. But regardless, the original holds a flame the newer soundtrack can´t. You have good points, but as a person who hasn´t played the games, I *can* say that this soundtrack grabs me in a way the other simply fails to.
From what I´ve listened to, the Remake gave some soundtracks some justice and made them better, but for this soundtrack? No. But hey, that might be my bias, the Remake is definitely good though.

Actually a couple other videos of the same song also said unused. I think they might mean that it's not on the soundtrack itself.
@@MynameisJohnlol I haven't played the original or the remake yet, I wanted to play the remake but the PS5 stock is like a bigfoot sighting and I haven't played the original because I haven't got around to it yet, but I've listened to both soundtracks and I love both quite a bit.
