i searched for the eccentric song from 2007 with youtube and opened every matching youtube video, then loaded all the comments by scrolling deep, then used Ctrl+F to find any mentions of "eggman" or even just "egg". then, i used google to search for any mentions of both "eccentric" and "eggman" specifically on the youtube website. (google will include some comments on youtube videos when searching, surprisingly) i got no hits. maybe it's gone forever...

Just the character creation is enough to show how little they cared about the original, it was a cash grab, art, esthetics, themes, lighting, enemy design, music, sounds... all inferior they just had more polygons and higher resolution. The mentality of "I can do better I am not going to be loyal to the creator's desires" you didn't do better in anything.

Original is better. I don’t like it when in remakes they change the music just to change something because “in a good remake, everything needs to be redone.” Work for work's sake. For me, it’s better to leave the original music, which is almost always better, or re-record it with a higher bitrate. In the Resident Evil remakes 2 and 4 the new music is not memorable at all. Police station theme for example, heaven and earth.

This and the og both have soul. Only fanboys will say otherwise.

I think Demons Souls by far had the best music of any of the souls game. There is a reason people gush about the atmosphere of this game and the music does a lot of the heavy lifting. Demons Souls is so special to me, I love this game dearly.

Even though the later games are objectively better than Demon’s Souls, what will always keep me coming back to this game is the unique atmosphere it has. Dark Souls popularized the series. But Demon’s Souls is like a song that came before a musician hit it big. You can totally feel this game’s influence in later games, but it also has a totally unique feel that they just do not have
