Thank you SO MUCH for your lovely comments. I assure you I read each one of them and feel incredibly GRATEFUL for your support 😊❤ (unfortunately, I can't reply to each of them as I used to do because the channel has grown so much! But I will address all the questions ASAP).
Wow! The before looked like a very unhappy Applejack after taking an involuntary mud bath. The end result looks like a brand new pony! The bows are pretty cute and they match the pony well. :)
He’s not scary looking! Sweet Bruno. My black cat, Midnight was 19 when he passed away. He was thin but happy too. Bruno doesn’t know it but I love him. 🙂
I love your restorations! I just wanted to say something about the UV chamber, in a lot of your videos, you say in sunny countries, we can just use sunlight. While that is true, the sun moves during the day so a UV chamber is actually the best way to get an even coverage if you can afford to make one. I'd pick that over the sun any day, even in Australia! If you can't make a UV chamber, just be prepared to keep an eye on your stuff and rotate or move it as the sun moves during the day! 8-bit Guy has some good explanations on this.
Oh wow she turned out beautifully!! Out of curiosity, would this hair bleach also work on harder plastic horses? Like the barbie sized ones? I bought a pink barbie horse from the barbie nutcracker movie second hand and the horse has some slight yellowing in places and I would like to remove it, but I don't want to damage the horse as it was a childhood dream of mine to own her. Any help with this question would be greatly appreciated 😊
You should make your kitty (Bruno) into a pony. I did it with my kitty, I showed her the types of ponys (using the CMC & Twilight Sparkle), she chose Pegasus, colors/colours of my markers to use & it looks like Firefly but with light purple (think of baby Glory) hair & tail.
I think the conditioner only works as it's oily and helps things slip out of their knots and stuff, nothing too crazy. Also Fabric softener doesn't really do anything either ua-cam.com/video/2UwfPbpS9w8/v-deo.html Sarah Spaceman did an experiment on fabric softener haha
The rabbit tail looked quite cute actually! Very good intuition with the marks not being rust and for trying acetone, it did look a different colour and "pattern" from rust. The hair bows were adorable! Don't be embarrassed 🥰
Your Bruno is a double of my Gordy. He's also a very old gentleman, and very scrawny (although he could eat for six). He's not scary, just a bit care worn, like an old teddy bear. The pony came up great, I'm impressed by how well her pink came up. The ribbons are cute. The playsets always came with ribbons like that, so it's very in keeping. ❤🐈😸
Don't be embarrassed about the bows! They're adorable! And they fit so well with the pink pony, of you had said it's what she came with originally, I wouldn't have questioned it. They're the PERFECT shade of blue for that shade of pink.
Yay! Another video! I have a Cotton Candy original plush. I wonder if this pony was in a box next to something rusting, not from the tail but from something else?
I want you to know I just ordered the g3 star catcher (with cloth wings) and crystal princess desert rose ponies that I had as a kid, with intent to restore them. I'm very excited. They were my favorite ponies
She looks so awesome! 🩷🩷🩷 TFS! I love your MLP videos. I have used some of your tips and tricks to restore my own vintage My Little Pony collection. 🦄💕🦄
Amazing transformation! I loved the cleaning sounds, so relaxing. I also loved Bruno’s little appearance 💞 The hair bows are perfect, I think I will need to give some of my ponies some hair bows ☺️
She's beautiful again, & your little cutie Bruno is such a sweet boy virtual gentle hugs and kiss to your cat. He may be old he still a handsome cat. I do hope to see Demon Sunset, Flurry Heart, Daybreaker, Luna, Twilight, Cadence, Daydream Shimmer, Midnight Sparkle, Cozy Glow Alicorn & chaos Alicorn form. See you on your next video. :)
So cute. I couldn't belive that it was supposed to be pink. Amazing 😍 the Bunny tail was so cute. It inspired me to do a Bunny Pony. Can't belive i haven't thought of this earlier. I Love Bunnies 😍 And yes i did the haircutting too when i was little. But now i am 31 and still cut my Hair but now i can do it the right way 😂
To answer your question as to what to call the UV process - it's actually called retro-bright! I thought you'd like that name since you're retrogeek :) Retrobrighting is great for many kinds of yellowed plastics as you know. I don't know if you knoew that or if anyone else already mentioned that.
Just a note about using fabric softener in pony hair, I've seen several people in the pony restorations Facebook group warning that fabric softener can lead to the pony's hair turning brittle and snapping... I've no idea if these warnings are legit but I think it's better to be safe than sorry isn't it so I always pass on the warnings just in case
the transformation was incredible, peroxide + UV really are magic! i also got strangely attached to a G1 starshine i found at a thrift store for 2€.. the pony was in horrible condition, nail polish, paint, all hair cut as short as possible, no face & some cancer spots! shes currently in peroxide treatment (i dont have a UV chamber yet, im lazy hehe). i decided to keep the short hair, i find it charming! i want all the best for her, i'm so excited to give her a face and a symbol again :D
I had a Cotton Candy just like this and it's so lovely to see them restored :D I actually learned my restoring from your vids! So thank you (from me and my Cotton Candy!!) also don't feel embarrassed about the hair bows! I put bows on mine too :)
Don’t be embarrassed over the bows, they were a wonderful touch!! I love her shorter mane, and I also think the darker color looks nicer on her as well. Sometimes restoration is a lot of happy little accidents. 💖
Wow, I was astounded by the end of the UV chamber sections to see how pink the Pony became. I know you explained that the pony was supposed to be pink, but wow. And the bows were a cute touch. 😊
I love these videos so much! ❤ I was about 10 years old (I think?) when My Little Pony was first released and Cotton Candy was one of the original 6 (I didn’t have her then, my first pony was Blossom). When I’m feeling anxious, these videos always make me feel so much more relaxed… I still have some ponies, none were my originals because my mother threw them out. They were either bought on eBay or bought when they rereleased them and I had specific ones I was looking for (all the ones from the first cartoon and I’ve finally gotten them all now). Periodically, I take my ponies for a wash. I use shampoo and container on their hair always. I’ve always taken such great care of my ponies, even when I was a little girl. It makes me sad when I see them in such horrible condition, which is why I love your videos so much. To see them so lovingly restored brings me a lot of joy 😊❤ Depression and anxiety melt away when I watch you take such great care of them and that’s worth so much to me. Thank you for everything you do! 🥰
omg im so excited to see a man-bun pony!! this vid was great, at first i thought it was an old applejack because it was so yellow/orange, its so cool to see it restored to its "natural" colour!
I love your taste when cleaning up these ponies. I've never had an interest in mlp, or pony restoration at all, before your videos. So while my perspective isn't one of a preservationist, and I can understand the value in restoring the ponies to their factory beauty, I really enjoy your personal touches. Not every pony is perfect, but the bows sure are.
The blue bows are actually a perfect addition to a pony named Cotton Candy. Some of the actual candy also comes in blue as well as pink (at least in the States--any other countries have blue cotton candy/candy floss?). Love these videos. It's amazing to see how much you're able to clean up these ponies and give them new life! 🤗💜
I admit it's been a while since I watched a video of yours but it is SO ADORABLE how excited you are for the project. I love how you restored it as well, absolutely stunning and the bows were so cute too
your kitty is such a handsome boy!!! so tiny too!! thank you so much for showing him in the video, id love to see more kitten cameos also is the conditioner you use the 3 minute miracle one by chance?
This might sound weird but I sort of wish I saw more people doing gen 4 (that’s the 2000s one, right?) restorations and customs. Like, I get it, they were (relatively) recent and even more mass produced, but it would be really nostalgic and I would get to see even more than I did as a kid! I could probably look at collector websites but it’s not quite the same I guess. I know mine are in good condition though and I figure that after only this long a lot of peoples’ are also still looking good. Mine are stashed away in my parents basement though. I know the accessories for them are in way worse condition though 😅 I might have been relatively finicky with a lot of my toys as a kid, but the stuff that goes with them? Who cares about that?!
Hi Yisela! Thank you for another pony restoration. I just got ye first two ponies, both in very bad shape. All your tips and tricks have really helped me get them back to their original beautiful glory! Peachy and Baby Sunbright thank you, and so do I ❤
aww, the ribbons are so cute!! i made such a noise when i saw them, don't feel embarrassed! also, i actually really like how the mane came out. since you couldn't dip the entire piece in the dye, it ended up having this slight gradient effect that's quite pretty!
Wiw, no tail rust! That's nice! What caused such terrible yellowing?.. About peroxide: yes, i bought it in the shop, where everything for beauty and hairs is selling 😅 i'm sure, cashier had no idea what for i will use this 😂
You cleaned her up so well. Amazing! I would love to see a "victory rolls" hairstyle done on a pony with a shorter mane like this. It would be challenging to get quite right, I'm sure, but I think it could look cute.
Just wanted to say that watching your restorations made me want to try and find some of the ponies I remembered having as a very little kid (Melody and Firefly specifically, among others). I managed to find them all and having them brings me a lot more happiness than i expected them to bring. I found them quite well cared for, so i only need to do a little cleaning, but i love the new life you give to these ponies. Thanks for sharing your work and skills!
She looks beautiful! Because of you I was able to restore a 4ft Elsa doll purchased second hand. My granddaughter loves it. She also smells very nice from the hair conditioner 😂❤
Bruno seems like such a sweetheart. If you can get his labs checked. My boy is also quite old and was losing weight and we found he had an overgrowth of bacteria in his intestines. He's gaining weight again and is much happier. He must have been very uncomfortable because his whole demeanor changed after receiving treatment.
what a lovely restoration; I love that you made it a little unique with slightly darker hair so that it feels like a brand new pony. After seeing it in such a sad state at the beginning, it's so nice to see it shiny and new looking and so full of love and care towards its restoration
Great work it's ace ! I know the hair is darker than you wanted but at least it's pink again😊👍🏻 and I love Bruno he's so cute (my cat is getting older and is losing a bit of muscle tone to )🐈
Great job 🙂 I love the blue bows. They make the pony look so much cuter! It adds a little pop of contrast and makes the color of the body and color of the mane look more similar / makes those colors look like they go together more. It's nice to have that little bit of blue break up and add a little variety to all the pink, as much as I like pink.
She turned out really fantastic, and the shorter mane works well. I actually personally really like how the faded pink hair looks on some ponies, you might try that look out if you ever get a duplicate Cotton Candy.
That pony was left in the back window of a car. I did that to one of my dolls as a child. It bleaches out the hair, like on this pony and makes it dry. It also, bakes the body into a darker color and makes it feel a little sticky.
Thank you SO MUCH for your lovely comments. I assure you I read each one of them and feel incredibly GRATEFUL for your support 😊❤ (unfortunately, I can't reply to each of them as I used to do because the channel has grown so much! But I will address all the questions ASAP).
Oh my gooood, STOOOP, THAT IS SO CUTE!!!!! I am in LOVE with the final result, and I think the darker pink in the mane worked so well!!!
Hahaha thank you!! 😊😊
Wow! The before looked like a very unhappy Applejack after taking an involuntary mud bath. The end result looks like a brand new pony! The bows are pretty cute and they match the pony well. :)
I thought it was Applejack at first as well.
Hehe thank you so much 😊😊
The bows made this pony even cuter :3
I think they suit her very well! I love pink ponies and yours turned out great!!
Thank you 😊😊
I like that shade of pink on her, she turned out so cute!
Lo has dejado precioso. Increíble transformación Mi enhorabuena❤❤❤❤❤
Lovely video, very therapeutic. Nice before and after.
Aaaw, the bows are so sweet! Great job!
A Bruno themed pony would be adorable
It’s so wonderful
Oh wow she turned out beautifully!! Out of curiosity, would this hair bleach also work on harder plastic horses? Like the barbie sized ones? I bought a pink barbie horse from the barbie nutcracker movie second hand and the horse has some slight yellowing in places and I would like to remove it, but I don't want to damage the horse as it was a childhood dream of mine to own her. Guau que bonito

MAN BUN PONY!!!
The rabbit tail looked quite cute actually! Very good intuition with the marks not being rust and for trying acetone, it did look a different colour and "pattern" from rust. The hair bows were adorable! Don't be embarrassed 🥰
Thank you so much 😊😊
The ribbons were so cute!!!!! I petition you call the peroxide treatment the “pony pick-me-up”. Not very descriptive, but cute 😊
I love it!! Thank you for the idea 😊😊
Bruno is adorable. I have a pure white old boy called Tari. He is my darling cat and always with me. He too is thin from age. He's 21.
i was looking for more comments about her kitty❤
Not related to the restoration at all BUT your cat is adorable and you must be such a proud cat mom 💗🐱💗
Of course it's related. You can renew, rebuild everything if you have proper tools and resources.
I really like that you keep in your 'failures' to educate us on topics like hair dye etc.
The bows look super cute on this one :)
Amazing, so cute!!! I love listening to you talk, I love the tenderness with which you say “the pony”. We can tell you love what you do
Don't be embarrassed about the bows! They're adorable! And they fit so well with the pink pony, of you had said it's what she came with originally, I wouldn't have questioned it. They're the PERFECT shade of blue for that shade of pink.
Awwww your old man cat is sooo cute. I have a special place in my heart for black cats.
Woah what a difference! The UV chamber did wonders for this pony, she came out great!
The hair bows are perfect for her, don't be embarrassed! They remind me of the G1 Pony cartoon where some of them had bows on their tails.
Oh she is just beautiful great job with the bows truly adorable
She looks so awesome! 🩷🩷🩷 TFS! I love your MLP videos. I have used some of your tips and tricks to restore my own vintage My Little Pony collection. 🦄💕🦄
The pony is very cute - ESPECIALLY with the bows! So cute 🥰
I just love your little giraffe bowl! It's super cute and I've admired him often.
It was interesting seeing you reuse the tail this time.
Amazing transformation! I loved the cleaning sounds, so relaxing. I also loved Bruno’s little appearance 💞
The hair bows are perfect, I think I will need to give some of my ponies some hair bows ☺️
Bruno seems like a real sweetheart!
She's beautiful again, & your little cutie Bruno is such a sweet boy virtual gentle hugs and kiss to your cat. He may be old he still a handsome cat.
I do hope to see Demon Sunset, Flurry Heart,
Daybreaker, Luna, Twilight, Cadence, Daydream Shimmer, Midnight Sparkle, Cozy Glow Alicorn & chaos Alicorn form. See you on your next video. :)
From butterscotch to cotton candy 😂 my very first pony was cotton candy. She has a special place in my heart ( along with glory, medly and suprize)
These videos have been comforting me and helping me sleep as I recover from covid. Thank you for caring for these well-loved ponies 💕
So cute. I couldn't belive that it was supposed to be pink. Amazing 😍 the Bunny tail was so cute. It inspired me to do a Bunny Pony. Can't belive i haven't thought of this earlier. I Love Bunnies 😍
And yes i did the haircutting too when i was little. But now i am 31 and still cut my Hair but now i can do it the right way 😂
The bows are so cute! I love the way the colors turned out!
Love your skrunkly cat, he may look rough but he seems very sweet.

Boh...sono anni che uso ammorbidente e sono ancora tutti ben saldi e soffici...
the transformation was incredible, peroxide + UV really are magic! i also got strangely attached to a G1 starshine i found at a thrift store for 2€.. the pony was in horrible condition, nail polish, paint, all hair cut as short as possible, no face & some cancer spots! shes currently in peroxide treatment (i dont have a UV chamber yet, im lazy hehe). i decided to keep the short hair, i find it charming! i want all the best for her, i'm so excited to give her a face and a symbol again :D
the little bows are literally so cute! perfect addition
The results are perfect, I love this pony, I would love this pony so much if I had it. ❤
Bruno is so sweet looking. I"ve love to meet him a little more some time! Let the whole world (or... youtube at least) fuss over him too :)
It's PRECIOUS 😍
Those bows are SOOO cute!! and they are complete pony's look so well!
The bows are SOOOO cute! I love them. It really makes me feel like the pony is loved!
It’s so funny to me that before it looked much like G4 apple jack, but now she looks much more similar to g4 pinkie pie :D very cute job!!!!!!
I had a Cotton Candy just like this and it's so lovely to see them restored :D I actually learned my restoring from your vids! So thank you (from me and my Cotton Candy!!) also don't feel embarrassed about the hair bows! I put bows on mine too :)
i love the bows! and bruno is such an adorable little lad :')
Don’t be embarrassed over the bows, they were a wonderful touch!! I love her shorter mane, and I also think the darker color looks nicer on her as well. Sometimes restoration is a lot of happy little accidents. 💖
THE BOWS ARE SO CUTE AAAA
She turned out beautiful! Crazy that she was pink under all that yellow. Love the vid as always!
Oh WOW! She’s really discolored! I expected the faded hair but the body? Yeesh! Good job restoring her!
So adorable!!! I love the bows!!!
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️❤️
I love your videos!! She is beautiful!!
Wow, I was astounded by the end of the UV chamber sections to see how pink the Pony became. I know you explained that the pony was supposed to be pink, but wow. And the bows were a cute touch. 😊
I do absolutely love the choice of bows!
The transformation is insane! Glad you were able to restore this one, it really needed your help and you restored it perfectly
Yaaayy, ponies are back! :D
I love these videos so much! ❤ I was about 10 years old (I think?) when My Little Pony was first released and Cotton Candy was one of the original 6 (I didn’t have her then, my first pony was Blossom). omg im so excited to see a man-bun pony!! this vid was great, at first i thought it was an old applejack because it was so yellow/orange, its so cool to see it restored to its "natural" colour!
Your kitty reminds me of my late boy, Nightmare. He passed last halloween eve. He was 19 and very scraggly and also very food motivated. ❤
I love your taste when cleaning up these ponies. I've never had an interest in mlp, or pony restoration at all, before your videos. So while my perspective isn't one of a preservationist, and I can understand the value in restoring the ponies to their factory beauty, I really enjoy your personal touches. your kitty is such a handsome boy!!! so tiny too!! thank you so much for showing him in the video, id love to see more kitten cameos
also is the conditioner you use the 3 minute miracle one by chance?
Amazing job! Ive put little ribbons and bows on all of my ponies. They all came packaged with one to put in their hair, after all!
This might sound weird but I sort of wish I saw more people doing gen 4 (that’s the 2000s one, right?) restorations and customs. Like, I get it, they were (relatively) recent and even more mass produced, but it would be really nostalgic and I would get to see even more than I did as a kid! Oh my gosh this is amazing!! If you haven’t done it yet, could you restore a Gen 1 “Stripes” the Rainbow Curl Pony? It’s my all time favorite!!
She’s lovely! Cotton Candy was the very first pony I got, and I still have her, so this was a very special video to watch ☺️
I don't have an UV chamber, so I was told I would just put it under sunlight. Do you have any idea of the time needed for one "session" of whitening?
She also smells very nice from the hair conditioner 😂❤
ahhhhh bruno es hermoso !! tengo un pony que tiene adentro sucio y no se como sacarlo . alguna idea ????
The bows are adorable!! I think this pony might be my absolute favorite one. SO cute!
I love the bows! They look wonderful. Many ponies in my childhood had contrasting ribbons. I think the blue is the perfect choice.
I cussed out loud when you revealed the pony after the peroxide treatment. I’m shaken.
I know the hair is darker than you wanted but at least it's pink again😊👍🏻 and I love Bruno he's so cute (my cat is getting older and is losing a bit of muscle tone to )🐈
I think she looks amazing. This brings back so many memories from when my girls were little. They are 48. 43 and 36 now.
I think you should call the peroxide treatment a Spa Day - also the bows were super cute!! You have no reason to be embarrassed
Don't be embarrassed, those bows are adorable!!! I love how attached you got to this pony- only the best conditioner and bows! ❤
She is so cute. She came out absolutely amazing. The color transformation is astonishing!❤❤
Thought that was Applejack at first 😅
Looks like smoke damage, but the pony looks great. Reminds me of apple jack with the bows.
