@@apolinarconcepcionjr.4849 Its either the prior Dell Inspiron "Gamer" series, or their newer G series laptops. G3/G5/G7. G3 and G5 have Nvidia 1050's, and the G7 has a GTX 1060 Max Q. Suspect it's the prior Inspiron 7000 series though because of the red backlighting.
@dcss Nvidia Graphics Cards of that ilk are designed and intended for gaming, but I'm guessing a lot of these producers use them because the extra CPU and GPU power intended to bolster highly demanding games speeds up music production software. Know this to be the case for video editing software as well. That extra power helps render videos faster. But, you're right. It's not needed for most people. Overkill.

The computers used are like... Cheaper than what I had gotten for journey into Producing via FL Studio
I went and got a new razerblade 15 which was on sale for $1400, I have seen most people using like $700 computers.
I guess I went a little overboard.
I was going to do that and get a mac but I got some sennheiser headphones and I definitely haven’t regretted it yet
