Place a note anywhere on your piano roll (preferably right under the slide note, just make sure they are the same length) and turn that notes velocity down all the way. Basically what this is doing is sliding from low velocity to high velocity. 3. Lastly, drag the note with 0 velocity right onto the slide note so that they're on the same pitch and position in the piano roll. Now all that's happening is that its sliding the velocity and not the pitch, which we perceive as a reverse Producers should help other producers ya know?

I come from the classical realm of music (I play the double bass, and have enough understanding of the other members of the string orchestra, that I could probably play the violin, viola, and cello in a month and a half if I was locked in a basement, and my release was contingent upon me learning those instruments well enough to teach it), and I actually write music in my spare time, but I listen to a lot more rap music than most of my colleagues in orchestras I've participated in, and would like to be able to go from writing orchestral works to creating beats. I think that, if I do manage to be able to make beats, the Genius series "Deconstructed" will be the thing I owe the most to that. This may all just be a part of my style of writing, and especially as it's applied to how I write solo repertoire, in that I view rap, or any kind of "pop" music, as a solo work, in which the artist(s) have a melody, that is accompanied by the beat, or the harmony.

They basically pressed Alt+U on the 808 and rolled up the velocity gradually for each note( and enabled cut by itself) And there you go,you have the sauce now...
The reverse 808 is made in FL Studio in 2 ways 1) by taking two notes with the same length and making one of them a slide (for the best result take octaves or the same note as the slide note. if you want to experiment with scales, that's possible as well). Then turn how the velocity down on the non-sliding note. 2) by taking the note you want to reverse, chop the note up into several pieces (I don't know how to explain it, but some of you should know what I'm talking about) and thenmake the velocity go up. They basically pressed Alt+U on the 808 and rolled up the velocity gradually for each note( and enabled cut by itself)

The reverse 808 is made in FL Studio in 2 ways
1) by taking two notes with the same length and making one of them a slide (for the best result take octaves or the same note as the slide note. if you want to experiment with scales, that's possible as well). Then turn how the velocity down on the non-sliding note.
2) by taking the note you want to reverse, chop the note up into several pieces (I don't know how to explain it, but some of you should know what I'm talking about) and thenmake the velocity go up.
