I live in South Africa we do have lots of problems. But it is a awsome country for bike riding and safe if you stick to a few rules traveling the country. We also do have the most friendly people in the country and you will see how people will always help each other.
If you noticed, there was an " Armed Response" warning sign entering the horse lodge, every home has a wall and gate. We were warned not to go out at night in many places across the country. It is a great trip, but always be aware of your surroundings.

Mixture of weather in one day .... you’re in Scotland really. 😄 As I said previously, my g-g-grandparents met in SA. My g-g-grandfather was in the Cape Mounted Rifles, which was a mounted infantry come police unit. Going out on patrol for him must have been quite similar.

Chicken liver is delicious, we cook it up for our dog because it is so cheap here in Thailand, and he loves it, but I quite often help myself to some as I prepare his bowl! The wife’s recipe is mouth watering!

That brings back such memories! When I was a teenager I used to go on weekend horseback trails through the Drakensberg mountains, it was an amazing part of my childhood. I also honeymooned near Underberg and rode Sani Pass on my bush bike many times. It really is so beautiful there. I can fully appreciate the experience you enjoyed.

Any of us would ride with her, alas, she dont want that kind of stuff. In any country there would be hundreds of bikes following here. That would be scary, i can understand her.
Do it alone, we r pleased with her adventurers, she doesn’t need beautiful towns, she needs history, the outskirts, that is why she preferred the unpaved roads.
Miles from anywhere, nobody else, out in the country with wild animals and no signal/credit...what could go wrong? But what unique scenery...thanks Noraly. 👍

Noraly talks about how she does this in her Live chats. Her drone the Mavic Air (I think) is not particularly good at following the GPS tracker you wear so she uses one hand on the controller and actually flies it manually whilst also riding Savannah (or Ronin/Basanti/Dhanno) 🙌 Only does this on clear/flat country roads to remain as safe is possible and rides slow. The drone footage really adds to the production value. Noraly is a natural at creating great content that now looks extremely professional. She is smashing borders and bringing the people and landscapes of the world to us, so we can see and realise that most people, the vast majority of people, from whatever country, are our sisters and brothers. 🤗
@@dcbaxter The drone doesn't follow a GPS tracker that you wear - you look at the image that the drone sees from its camera (beamed to your phone or controller screen) and then you draw a box around yourself on the screen and the software in the drone knows that it must track the object inside the box, whatever object that might be (bike, boat, jetski, horse). Then when you move off, the drone follows at the set height and matches your speed and direction. Good old AI technology, built into a drone that can fit into the palm of your hand.

Noraly talks about how she does this in her Live chats. Her drone the Mavic Air (I think) is not particularly good at following the GPS tracker you wear so she uses one hand on the controller and actually flies it manually whilst also riding Savannah (or Ronin/Basanti/Dhanno) 🙌
Only does this on clear/flat country roads to remain as safe is possible and rides slow.
The drone footage really adds to the production value. Noraly is a natural at creating great content that now looks extremely professional. She is smashing borders and bringing the people and landscapes of the world to us, so we can see and realise that most people, the vast majority of people, from whatever country, are our sisters and brothers. 🤗
@@dcbaxter The drone doesn't follow a GPS tracker that you wear - you look at the image that the drone sees from its camera (beamed to your phone or controller screen) and then you draw a box around yourself on the screen and the software in the drone knows that it must track the object inside the box, whatever object that might be (bike, boat, jetski, horse). Then when you move off, the drone follows at the set height and matches your speed and direction. Good old AI technology, built into a drone that can fit into the palm of your hand.
