Love it - and very jealous. What a collection. I had a couple of horror comics when I was a kid but my mum threw them out 😢. Unfortunately, I can’t remember the titles although I remember one of the stories in particular and would love to be able to look for it online somehow, but I guess there’s no database as such and this is a needle in a haystack type situation.
What a great video,,although I loved ec it was near impossible to find them here in the Uk back in the 70/80s soI ended up buying SKYWALD horror mags,,I'm still collecting to this day,,I love your passion ,,,many thanks for the vids
Great stuff as usual! With all of the great reprints available, I never got into buying original EC comics. But I do have one in my collrction ... a copy of _Haunt of Fear #9_ that just mysteriously showed up in the mail one day about thirty years ago. It was bagged and boarded, in a manila envelope with no return address or discernable post mark. There was nothing else in the package. To this day I have no idea where it came from, who sent it to me or why!

I recently stumbled on your channel and I'm glad I did, your videos are fascinating and well put together, being a huge horror comicbook fan myself it's fascinating to see a true fanaddicts collection and view some of the rare material related to the legendary publishing house. Keep up the great work.
Very nice collection. I still have my Haunt Of Fear 25 that is CGC graded 6 but to me it looks like it should have had a higher grade. Always loved those Ghastly Graham Ingles covers.
Really interesting stories and insights here. Thanks for sharing with us. Do you have a video on the Balentine paperbacks with the beautiful Frazetta covers? Curious to see them.
I've started collecting the EC Archive collections. I bought Haunt of Fear Vol. 2. Out of the Haunt of Fear, Vault of Horror, & Tales from the Crypt... which would you say are your favorite?
The horror comics are, for me, interchangeable for the most part in terms of content. My personal fave is HOF for the Ingels covers. VOH changed in tone for the last 6 issues when Craig took over editorship. If you want to know which Archives horror volumes are the best, I'd say Haunt 3, Crypt 3 or 4, Vault 4. Trust me on this, you won't regret any of those. And then you'll want them all.
Interesting that the order from Robert Bell contained the last issues of Haunt, Vault and Shock. Did you guys keep your collections separate or was it a joint collection? (If the later, how long did that last? And has Josh kept pace with you?)
@@ecfan-addict9477 So Josh no longer collects originals? I sent him some East Coast reprints a few years ago, so is it all reprints for him these days?
You probably won’t see this, but I may have stumbled on quite a few original EC comics. Would you suggest I get them appraised or send them to eBay or auctions without appraisal?
@@ecfan-addict9477 Yeah I'm familiar with that. So then you must know Mike Vosburg, he did some great cover art for the series. Got any of artwork from him?

Try asking on the EC Fan-Addict Club Facebook page - lots of knowledgeable collectors there

I was. Buying the reprints in the 90's and the hardcovers EC comics are the best story and art love your collection
They ARE the best! Thanks!

Super video, thank you. May I ask where one might get EC wall art such as on your wall behind you?
Collected over the years, vintage posters, prints, and commission pieces.
You can get NEW posters of EC covers from Retro-A-Go-Go!

Joint collection until 2008 - I bought out his half that year (which is when I stopped updating the list)!

Post them to the EC Fan-Addict Club on Facebook. Top EC experts there, and very supportive/helpful.

The 3 episodes of TFT were all aired as episodes of TFTC, so I have seen them all. Not a huge fan of the series, but I enjoyed a lot of them.
