The fact that you initially did this to save a family member from a gang dept and you never physically harmed anyone while robbing says a lot about your character. Glad to see you became a better person out of this journey, thank you for telling us your story.

Robbing isn’t the answer.. It’s a coward’s move. I’m sure u wouldn’t feel this way if he stole from u and your family.
Maybe he should have tried fundraising or sold everything he owned to support his family. Stealing from innocent people isn’t cool. Your nice.. But this fraud doesn’t deserve your support

      William...... hello brother!!!!
I know how HARD it can be when you don’t have a lot of choices and resources. We can tend to think that things will never get better. And things can seem very dark and hopeless.... But I can HONESTLY say that YOU CAN transform things.
Bro go to my Instagram or FB messenger and send me your info and I’ll reach back out to you.
I also know how important it is to have a positive support system.
And I will absolutely share with you some of the tools I learned that helped me transform my Life!
Most people stay stuck because they’re afraid to face the consequences of their actions.. even in NON-CRIMINAL SITUATIONS. Transforming can be WORK ... but Becoming who you’re meant to be is WORTH it!!!!! I would deal with all the consequences again for the beautiful life that I have now bro! And there’s nothing more gratifying than living a life with Purpose and being able to help others! It’s better than any drug or any amount of money bro! When we HEAL OURSELVES we show others what’s possible... so typically when YOU TRANSFORM so does Your situation and environment.
Keep your head up bro! Let’s talk!

DAVID!!!!!! How ya doin today brother???
Sounds like you’re kinda having a rough time... I can definitely relate to those types of days!!!!!
And on the real...I’ve never found a way to avoid ‘all’ of the ‘dark days’...I mean I’ve developed habits and traits that typically guide me away from “dark days”... but due to being human...lol... I run into them from time to time... there’s never a magic wand that’s waved that gets me through.... it’s more like a handful of positive things that feed my soul and spirit that I make certain to do more of during those days. You gotta find what positively feeds your heart and spirit! And what truly feeds our hearts and souls typically NEVER involves what SOCIETY tells us it is... so make sure that you’re not measuring yourself by societies standards. We all have so many untapped gifts within us to give this world bro! I really do believe that everyone has the ability and capability to do good things ... for themselves and for others... we just gotta remember not to let our value be determined by society standards... Stay true to Purpose... and your true purpose will always be in alignment with Self Love and the Betterment of All Life!

I'm glad you have turned things around, but you made my mother urinate all over herself and the PTSD she had from her experience with you led her to a really dark time. She overdosed Dec 27th 2012. Thanks. I have struggled my entire life, in fact right now I am having to start over and I'm staying in a homeless shelter, I have to humble myself and hold a sign for 50 dollars a day, but robbing someone, a store, or a bank is not even close to an option. I would rather be poor than hurt someone and terrify an innocent person just because I'm struggling, and because I haven't been able to earn enough money in my life.

It was a friend that I considered super close to me. He had gotten into some trouble of his own and gave the feds my name in return for a lighter sentence ... (I didn’t know this immediately at the time). Yet the Feds couldn’t use ANY of the information he had given them because they still didn’t have any actual evidence so they could not arrest me and by the time he had given my name I was no longer robbing banks. And had they tried to prosecute me they definitely would have loss... the agent actually admits in the documentary that they had no grounds to arrest me even with knowing WHO I was......but ..... I was ready to come clean and transform my life... so after months of consideration I decided that I was gonna take accountability and face it.. best decision I’ve ever made! As far as my former friend goes... (I don’t personally believe in telling on someone for personal gain) but.. I don’t hold it against him. The same way I hope people don’t judge me for my past, I try not to judge him ..but... He made a decision that he has to live with... that’s between him and his god... I harbor NO ILL FEELINGS TOWARDS HIM.
      I forgive him!
My actions put me where I AM and where I WAS...not him.
So I am responsible for my past and my future...
with that said... I HOPE he has also transformed his life... that would be cool... but I actually think he’s since been back and forth to jail numerous times.. I wish him the best🙏🏽

Great ending and way to stand up and be accountable. FYI I have a friend that went to federal prison for bank robbery & these days if you even mention that you have a gun or even write it down the feds treat it the same as having a real one and will hit you with the mandatory minimum sentence. Back in this time period they didn’t have that law. Robbery isn’t worth the penalty no matter how little or much you bring in

Intriguing story. The relative silence about your time in the army leaves me wondering though, was it so inconsequential that it only left you with a skill set and a taste for adrenaline? Why did you join, and why did you leave? I would imagine that your desire to be the best was sought after, so they probably wouldn't just get rid of you, and the competitive environment would provide you with suitable challenge so you wouldn't just get bored.
