Two Weeks In TURKEY 🇹🇷 | Ep2 | Cappadocia, Antalya, Kaş
Вставка
- Опубліковано 5 гру 2022
- My first time travelling in Türkiye, and my two weeks was built around a 7 day bespoke group tour I hosted with Intrepid Travel.
In this episode we travel to Göreme in Cappadocia, doing the famous hot air balloon ride at sunrise.
We also visit the Zelve Open Air Museum and underground city.
Finishing up the trip we travel down to the south coast to the towns of Antalya and Kaş, including a boat tour to the sunken city of Kekova.

I was there in 1988 and we met 13 travelers from all over.....we camped in one of the caves for days. What a great country!
The fact that even the most jokesters of the group fall speechless of the scenery of Cappadocia says a lot.
Raki is not for sipping. It is a drink that you will brew slowly. It is consumed by eating the appetizers brought with it.
Türkiye dünyanin taci ❤❤❤
My wife and I live and work in Istanbul, one of the most amazing cities in the world. Over the last 17 years we have lived in other parts of the country too and visited many others during a 5 month motorhome road trip. We know all of the locations included in your travel videos. You’ve done the country proud. Teşekkürler.
I'm looking into turkey because I'm considering moving there from the UK, without giving to much of your personal info away if you don't mind where are you from and how does living in turkey compare to it?
The people seem great are they accepting of people who don't follow islam etc?
@@DoomCatcher Hi! I'm from Turkey and I want to inform you about people. Yes, we are accepting people from all around the world. Turkey is a secular country, so you don't need to worry about that. Especially, if you want to live in more developed cities such as Istanbul, Izmir, Ankara, and Antalya, people won't mind whether you are a Muslim or a Christian etc.
@@lacivertcikolata Thank you
@@DoomCatcher You can live freely as you want. But be careful, because the law is not very reliable, there are many fraudulent people. This applies not only to you, but also to Turks.
With a tears of joy I am informing you, dear Sir, that these Turkey tour two-part episodes are among the best content on Your channel and on UA-cam year 2022. A true masterpiece 👍🏻
Thanks very much 😊
Thank you for giving us a nice travel blog.keep it up
Me and my family spent 10 nights in Turkiye in October this year. 4 nights in Istanbul, 3 nights in Cappadocia and 3 nights in Antalya. I absolutely loved the trip and will never forget it. InShaAllah, I hope to return to Turkiye again 🫶🏼💜
Dam you Karl, Turkiye is now on our holiday go to list.
You’re welcome 😜

They say once you go to Istanbul your heart will never be at peace away from it
You summarized turkey very well and you had a really awesome group
Really looking forward to you exploring my home country in the next series
Thanks 😊
Cappadocia is amazing, I'm so glad I got to visit the area back in 2019. But I'm kicking myself for not visiting Zelve Open Air Museum. At least I got to go up in a hot air balloon, which is a bucket list item I never knew I wanted.
Hello Karl my fellow Londoner! Turkiye is now on my bucket list ! I really enjoyed this 2 part series. Definitely inspiring. ❤
Loved this! I did the two week intrepid Turkey tour in 2019 and this brought back so many memories 😢 our tour included a two night boat trip all around those islands that you did was incredible
Thanks, glad it brought back some great memories 😊
“Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift of God, which is why we call it the present. “ thanks Karl it was awesome episode 🇹🇷👋
Cheers 😊
WELL DONE!!
Turkiye is a tourism casino. you want to do everything, you enjoy it, but you spend money without realizing it

I'm planning on traveling to Turkey next year, so this has given me some pause on how to plan the trip. Thanks for sharing.
I just found your channel and am caught up on the videos. Wow, Turkey is amazing! I feel my face smiling when I watch your videos. You do an amazing job of keeping it real. Love your style!
I Love türkiye ❤️
I Love Turkey very much số ít is beautiful
Loved this. I have been to Turkey 5 times with various cities there. some of my favorite cities are kas, cappadocia, izmir and antalya. I hope the next trip can go to the city of Mardin. Turkey has many beautiful places and full of amazing relics. I will go to Turkey again in May for vacation because Turkey is always interesting to visit.
What a fantastic couple of episodes that was, not sure how you do it but these videos are getting better and better, great bunch of people on the trip, also great choice of music once again and I liked the way you have included other peoples footage too, brilliant...! G
Thanks Geoff, appreciate it :)
Hi Karl. It seems I was in Cappadocia and Antalya at exactly the same time as you, (10th June to .24th June). But I went independent from Istanbul, getting public trains and buses everywhere. Then all day walks all around the different Cappadocia valleys. Fantastic country and I plan to go back again this summer to carry on filming for my new UA-cam channel.
Hi Andrew! if you don't mind, can you share how your travels went. like from Istanbul to Cappadocia? train and bus routes. TY!
@@ivydeguzman9813I recommend Kamil Koç, it’s one of the leading bus companies over there at the moment.
Always magical. Could cry everytime.
Loved it! That Kung Fu Panda segment tho.. Tasha ftw!! clearly she was the most sober hahaha
Hahaha she definitely was, plus she’s just way more talented than us
I was there this summer and loved it. Definitely wants to go back. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching
Loved it as always. Brought back memories from my own solo trip at the beginning of this year. And made me realise that there is so much more to see in this country!
But the most important part: I just CANNOT wait for the Pakistan series!!!
Gonna be a good one 😊
Karl you are so amazing bro... i liked your content, amazing and fantastic trip you took us to great Turkiye, i always liked Turkiye much more than any other country on earth, Thank you for all this.... greeting you from horn of Africa as A Somali 🙏
Brilliant! The hot air balloons, take your breath away. Stellar production as always. Looking forward to seeing Pakistan.
Thanks Debby 😊
Very good choice of music on top of everything: And very good recording quality as well: Made me get the best of my speakers on television
Great video Karl :D I'm definitely travelling around Turkey next summer now. I can't wait for the Pakistan video. Merry Christmas 🙂
Cheers Merry Christmas 😊
The balloon ride over Cappadocia was absolutely magical, made more so by your choice of music. What a fun trip!
We watched 2 great episodes. I think it was my favorite episode. The tour guide got emotional at one point...Everything was great, the group was great.
Cannot wait for the next trip! Looking forward to exploring lesser traveled countries! Amazing
It's gonna be a good one :)
Karl, I just wanted to say this is another incredible film. I used to travel a lot when I was a child but kind of lost my passion for it. You have re-inspired me. I have booked my own trip of 4 weeks around Spain.
Also what a great group of people, although Gus' cameo was the real MVP.
Excited for Pakistan and all the future trips.
Thanks! Good luck with your trip in Spain
when do you leave?
@@robtravellz7227 8th January
This is what you call proper documentary ❤
Thanks 😊
Hi Karl, thank you for calling my country’s real name which is Türkiye. 🥰😍👍🙏
Yes, you are right. The journey was organised the wrong way. Also there is an airport in izmir which is very closed to Selçuk Efes so you could have flown from there rather from Istanbul. It looks like you spent extra too much time on the road unnecessarily but as you said you met loads of nice people to share the journey with. I loved every minute of watching your video and feeling homesick now as I live in the UK.
Thanks again Karl.
@KarlWatson is HANDSOME!!
Hahaha 😉
I loved this, in fact I feel like I've been to Turkey with you guys! It was great seeing bits from the perspective of the group too. Top content as always 👌
Thanks 😊
What a great series! I totally enjoyed watching you and the group have a fabulous time. Thank you for sharing! Btw, Furkan did a great job as your tour guide!
Amazing episode. Can’t wait for the next adventure
Enjoy! We Turks cannot step out of the house due to inflation :) Btw, I watched the video as a documentary. The footage and the narration were very good. The group was very nice. ✌️
I absolutely loved yr two videos....brilliantly done.
I'm English and been going Turkey last 25 years ( since divorced a Turkish woman) ...tho you showd places I've still not visited.
You've done a fantastic job of inspiring people I'm sure tho you have to try more Raki ..yavaş yavaş aslan süt ( means drink slowly its?lions milk) 😂
Hehe ...really enjoyed...Will watch more of your videos, Thank you🙂
Bohat khubsorat mulak hy 👍💯🇵🇰
Love it as always Karl!
Amazing pal really loved this one. Cappadocia looked incredible and that hot air balloon ride! What I loved most about this one was the group dynamic, it was so lovely to watch. I've visited and really enjoyed my time in Istanbul but had the same mindset as yourself about Coastal Turkey just being a Brits Abroad Destination but it looks beautiful. Can't wait for the Pakistan Video 🙂
Cheers buddy 😊👍
2023 I suggest you take a vacation to Indonesia, if you go to Indonesia you must visit
-Bali
-Gili T, Gili Air, Gili Meno
- Nihi Sumba
-Lombok
-Labuan Bajo (komodo)
-Yogyakarta (Place of Javanese Culture)
This is one of my favourite travel channels to watch! I get so inspired and you edit your videos really well. Genuine freindships and great memories/experiences. I Hope soon I can come on one of these tours. Thank you for the content again Karl!
Thanks very much 😊
Cheers for another great series Karl. Keep up the amazing work!
Thanks 😊
What an awesome group!!!
I also had a lot of fun watching you have fun. I hope this group will come together in many places and have a great time again. From Turkiye with love 🇹🇷👋
Thank you for sharing the wonderful and touching trip with a group of cooperative and jovial lovely people. Your video of places and the people make me smile and laugh for the entire 2 episodes. At times, I have goose bump, especially the awesome Cappadocia hot air balloon ride. The video has given me a good insight into the popular places as I will be spending 10 days in Turkey covering almost the same route you did except the island tour. Appreciate very much of the detail, wonderful and professional videos. Have subscribed and will follow your program from now on. ❤
Wonderful video. Thanks for taking us along for the ride.
Great series as always
Wow wow amazing 2 episodes. 😍😍🤩🤩 don’t drink too much beers Karl 🍺😂

Awesome as always, Karl.
Thanks 😊
Two moments I was shocked; the first one when the sun rises over Kapadokya that i felt so emotional and the second was when you shot the whole glass of "rakı" at once and I felt like turned my head... neler ever do again😅... but et the end i am writing this comment with semi wet eyes.. whyyyy? Dunno i think i am getting old anyway... so great job, great pleace, great journey friends and great video... once again... thank you🤗🙏

Wow! What an amazing experience! Now I really want to visit in the future. I can't wait until your Pakistan video comes out. I just took an amazing Intrepid Travel tour in Jordan in November, and we also had such a great group. Your shows sure inspire me. My next Intrepid Travel tour will be in Egypt in the fall. ❤️❤️
Great video some craic loved it
Brilliant as always. Looking forward to the Pakistan series
Glad you told us about the blue arrows! We went to on Underground City and didn't know which colour arrows to follow for the way out! The disadvantage of not having a guide!lol!
magical
Clear English.great job
hate it or love it. raki is a social drink. you just sip, eat some meze (tapas) have a great chat and repeat the whole process. i would personally just go for beer.
Great Karl.
I was watching your Switzerland video and then started watching both episodes of Pakistan.
Amazing
