I totally dreamed my self away and discovered 50 minutes later that I completely forgot everything about my tea... Thanks for bringing oss along on your adventure Karl 🙏 Appreciation from a veranda in the middle of Sweden. 💚

I just quit my job and I leave for a year long around the world trip at 33. I currently have no stamps in my passport but all that is going to change June 30. HK2NY was my original inspiration for my trip and keep up the great work. Love the channel.
I hope you did it. Im 50 and have wanted to travel all my adult life. I decided om a family instead and now that they are all adults I just am itching to go. My kids all chipped in to buy me travel as a 50th birthday.. then covid hit and its on hold atm. I just have a really long list of places to go and its growing every time I watch Karl's vids lol Petra however was always right there. Im like you Karl.. I thought it was made up and amazed when I learned it was real
What I so love about your videos Karl and this one, in particular, is your honest appraisal of the places you visit. Besides photography worthy of watching at all times, you have those moments of subjective comment when what amazes and pleases you is noted and show in your actions and face. Thank you once again for your hard work and for your time and patience put into the video records I thoroughly enjoyed watching and now getting annoyed i can't go and see them lol
I didn't feel like I needed to go back to Jordan before watching this but that sunset in Wadi Rum has changed my mind! Haha, one of my favourite places. Such a good video!!
This is by far one of the best videos of Jordan that I've seen, considering the fact that I'm Jordanian, from Karak to be exact. I love the way that you showed Jordan from a backpacker perspective. Keep going mate! quality video.
I just wanted to say I watched this for the last 2 hours this night and I really am so amazed by how sincere and trusting you are towards people. I love your bravery and doing your own thing. You're really inspirational to me. Thanks for taking me with you on your trip and explaining everything in detail and in such a nice way. Thank you! Great editing, you are awesome!
I stumbled on to ur channel purely by chance, but must say I’m very impressed with what your putting out. I expect it appeals to all segments of travel style, from the “explore the world backpacker” to the mature independent traveller (that’s me). Having travelled to many of the destinations you’ve visited I sense you’re telling it like it is. I just finished your Egypt,/Jordan video and visited virtually every attraction you mention. You tell it like it is - No hype, no clickbait, no manufactured drama. Wadi Rum is definitely as spectacular as you describe it. Really great job. Thanks.
Best channel for backpackers I’ve seen. Super entertaining and lots of content. It’s unique. Was looking for something that is not all political or just some clip of a girl posing on a beach with terrible background music and lots of filters. This is the real thing. Hope you keep them coming, Karl
Well done Karl. Enjoyed watching with my friend Sterling at our hotel in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We were just in Arizona where we saw desert landscapes not unlike Wadi Rum. Have an epic summer of adventure.
I don't understand how this guy only has 170k subscribers. This is just perfectly made. Good job mate. Im binge watching all your videos. It makes me travel in this covid era. Makes me feel good! Thank you!
One of my biggest regrets is when my parents took me to the Dead Sea when I was 7 years old. I didn't understand what was so special about it; I just thought it was a lake that made all my bruises and scratches sting and hurt. So I refused to go in the water. I just sat on the banks watching my family have fun floating in the water. Now, as both a geologist and a fan of travel, I could kick my 7-year-old self into the Dead Sea :') Thanks for the amazing videos you make. I'm so happy I found your channel.
I'm actually from Jordan myself. I lived there for most of my life, however just recently I had gone there to visit some childhood friends and we finally were able to make a trip to go visit Petra. You can't live in Jordan your whole life and never go see Petra. it was an absolute amazing experience! Long hikes and walks but totally worth it. Thank you so much for showing the world that the Middle East is not all terrorists and ignorant people. I will also be posting a vlog of my trip to Jordan as well. Anyone who is interested in seeing some of my videos consider subscribing to my channel. Thank you so much for educating the world on what the Middle East really is.
Fantastic content Karl. I re-experienced the magic of travelling in Jordan . Looking forward to more videos. It is so refreshing to come across a humble yet entertaining and very professional UA-camr. Keep 'em coming!
I've just spent 2 hours of my free time watching both episodes and didn't even realise it was that long. I can't praise you enough man. You're so good at what you do brother. Keep it up and can't wait for Pakistan!
Thanks very much Evan. Not doing the Pakistan trip, decided didn't want to work with the company running it. But like I said in the outro there's the Antigua and Italy films coming soon.
@@karlwatsondocs Yeah I just noticed that earlier today.. was wondering why you didnt mention it in the outro. But that's fair enough mate! Glad to see theres a replacement for it and, as you say, that heaps of content is on it's way!

But it’s really inspiration my passion now to go around,so keep doing with the travel video and stay safe during the critical time now, thank you!
Hey, Karl. Recently discovered your channel while looking for some UA-cam videos on Switzerland to recommend to friends. Watched your most recent trip to Switzerland (to my favorite garden spot of Murren & the Lauterbrunnen valley) and am now backtracking to let you take me to places I’ll likely not see otherwise. You have become my favorite channel along with two others because of your beautiful photography, your sense of balance between showing yourself vs what’s around you, your maps, and your attention to nature and your explanation of the culture. In this video you mention the occasional loneliness experienced by your solo travels. Next time that thought hits you remind yourself you may feel alone at the time but your gifted videos allow thousands of us to share the experience with you. Thanks for taking us along in such a professional way.
