- I recently got to travel around Morocco on a 9 day group tour.
This was my first time in the country and is documented in a new 2 part travel documentary series.
In this first episode we explore the medina in Marrakech; drive through the High Atlas Mountains;
visited the Gladiator and Game of Thrones location of Ait Benhaddou; drove through the Draa Valley to Zagora; spent a night in the Sahara desert including a camel ride and camping under the stars
The difference with this tour is it's the first one I've hosted and organised myself. Working with Intrepid Travel we created a bespoke itinerary and put it on sale to my followers.

Just...Wow! I've been to Morocco several times - one of my favourite countries on the globe! - and you captured so many visually stunning moments, particularly Ait Ben Hadou and in the Sahara. But you also captured the spirit and warmth of the people - what you see in the J'maa Fna in Marrakesh is harshly competitive fight for survival, not a true reflection of the hospitible, genourous and welcoming essence of Moroccans. Thanks for reminding me of some of the amazing memories I made there, and clearly you and the lovely travelling crew have now made for yourselves. x

i love Morocco i traveled from Bergen Norway to near Ouarzazate by CAR hhhh (2 times) big journey amazing experiencie then stay in Errachidia 1 week and back driving to Marrakesh airport I was travelling back by plane my husband staying with his family mashaAllah wow what a trip wonderful

I did a backpacking trip for a month in Morocco with a friend just a couple months before you guys did your tour, and the highlight of the trip was definitely sitting on top of the highest dune we could find (we went to Merzouga though) and having that same thought. Amazing film as always, I've grown accustomed to the quality of your videos, but they never stop amazing me :)

In a word: sensational. I've been watching your documentaries for the last two years and they helped inspire my trips to NZ and Japan. I gotta say though, this Morocco trip film is up there with Egypt/Jordan, Japan, and India as the best films you've done yet.

My fiancé is from the UK and I am From Morocco he has been to Morocco so many times and he is in love with it and he always says it is such a shame that Morocco is not marketed as a big destination in the UK.
UK tourism Investors should look into Morocco as a prime destination specially after Brexit it is time for the UK To look into more opportunities and destinations than the EU and specially Spain.
Morocco can give so much to the UK and vice versa.
Looking forward to UK-MOROCCO relations development. Brexit was needed for the 2 oldest kingdoms to reconnect :)

I did this trip a few years ago but in February so it was a bit colder. Great memories. I didn't enjoy Marrakesh that much nor Essaouira, but I absolutely loved the trip to Zagora, camel ride and the night in the desert. Ait Ben Hadou is an incredible site. And while it was a quick visit there were no crowds or practically any other visitors at the time. Atlas mountains were covered in snow and Draa valley was just awesome.
Marrakesh is overrated and commercialised in my opinion, but then it is popular as a year-round sunshine destination.
Next time visit the north of the country. Fez is a real gem. It's hard to believe something like this still exists. If anyone wants to experience a lively medieval city that hasn't been cleared of local people and hasn't been turned into an open-air museum like Venice - this is the place.
