Who was Bob Ross?
Bob Ross was an American painter, art instructor, and television host. He was the host of the popular television show "The Joy of Painting", which aired from 1983 to 1994. He was known for his relaxing demeanor and his ability to create beautiful landscapes with his wet-on-wet oil painting technique. He became a cultural icon and a symbol of happiness and positivity.
How did Bob Ross's career start?
Bob Ross's career started when he joined the United States Air Force in the early 1960s. He was stationed at various bases across the country, where he learned about art and honed his painting skills. After leaving the military, he worked as a civilian contractor for the Air Force, and eventually started his own art school. He taught painting classes and developed his own wet-on-wet oil painting technique. In 1983, he started hosting "The Joy of Painting" on PBS, which became a popular show and launched him to national fame. Throughout his career, he remained dedicated to teaching and spreading his love of painting to others.

To anybody that needs some motivation.....I was run over by a car when I was 10 years old. My heart stopped 3 times heading into surgery. I was told not to do any contact sports, but I decided to ride and race horses and become a jockey. I've won 745 races and am now 39 years old and going for 1,000 wins. Stay strong!
