Just a quick note, I have this Lexus IS 300 F-Sport and I disagree with your comment about the analog clock. The analog clock makes the interior more classy. Most cars have a digital clock, that's what makes this classy. And regarding "kids", they should learn how to read an analog clock. Otherwise, fairly good review of the car.
Good job man! Always love your car reviews, not to long nor short; just right!👌 Keep it up! Always love Lexus among the lists of luxury cars, reliable and comfort at its finest!😎

Great review Nolan, sounds like a perfect sporty everyday sedan, kinda wished the rear end could look a little bit sleeker, and nice camera by the way.
Thank you very much! I wish it was sleeker too..kinda like new LS and ES. Good point on those turn signals too..not something I would have expected! Thanks for watching! 👍
I own a 2017 IS200t F-Sport (Gray Exterior, Red Interior) that I bought used in September 2018 with 15k miles for only $30k after taxes (was around $45k new) & its been an incredible car for the money. My only complaint are the cupholders. I wish it had the center console from the RC which has a much better design.
Thinking about getting this car but my big issue is the center console. Do you regret getting the car because of that issue? Hows the comfortness of it?
@@markaguirre1087 The center console didn't bother me at first but then it did after a while. I traded the car in eight months ago & replaced it with a 2016 GS350 F-Sport which I wanted to go back to a midsize sedan, but the IS was comfortable & enjoyable to drive for the time I had it for.
@@John.Christopher It felt quick enough for the most part & punchy off the line, but it does have noticeable turbo lag during harder acceleration, but was never overly annoying. I far prefer the 350 though as it's much smoother & sounds a lot better.

VQ3713 thank you! You’re right it was very comfy and a quick handling car. I’d like to see more power out of this 2.0T but still quick! I’m also curious about the future of this car..we’ll see. Thanks for watching!
It's a good mix between those two factors yes. On the 300h you also have an astonishingly good MPG. I drive a seat Ibiza 1.2 TSI (for the moment), and the 300 burns 2 liter less fuel on the 100 km. Those are scores I could only reach with micro-cars and tiny engines.
I've got the original IS300 3litre inline, slapped on an M193 supercharger and replaced the steering wheel with the IS350 PADDLE SHIFTER WHEEL and ooooh weeee she's fun.... these r nice as far as styling but they're SLOOOOW.
Hey man, I just wanted to point out the reason for the car having sluggish steering because it wasn't on Sport+ mode, it tightens the suspension and increases steering response, the normal Sport mode only alters the powertrain for faster gear changes and more dynamic throttle mapping. You could access it by twisting the mode selector twice towards Sport, and its only available in F SPORT models. Also, I wish you did the 350, It moves and shifts much faster!
Acrux I would ha e loved to drive the 350, I would definitely prefer that with the V6! The thing with the IS...the sport + is only available on IS350 models surprisingly, otherwise I would have used it. Thanks for pointing it out though!
Acrux good question, I was wondering too but that’s what I found out. It doesn’t make sense because I just drove a 2018 RC 300 F Sport and that had sport +....oh well. Yeah I agree. Thanks for the input and for watching!
I enjoy the enthusiasm in your voice compared to the "script reading" type voice you had in some earlier videos. Also I hope to see a Kia Stinger GT review because its Kia's first attempt at a sport sedan and I heard the 365hp model is fun.
Thank you! Recording myself was weird and I had a lot to work on, and still do but I’m glad you can see a difference 😀. I would love to do the Stinger, I approached one Kia dealer with no agreement (yet). But I also spoke with corporate Kia and hopefully will get a car soon 🤞
I like the design still looks the same with minor changes I like the blacked out grill and surprise that no led turning signal but that’s me being picky , but I love the Lexus reliability and nice soft leather seats
If you had to pick between the f sport or a subaru wrx sti ( I don't like the way the newer ones look) which would you pick? Because I'm really torn between the two. I love the way both cars look, but with lexus it's way more luxurious, especially the interior. Then there's the wrx sti which just sounds really amazing from the moment you start the engine and it and looks more sporty especially with the signature wing.
I guess it depends on how I’d want to drive. At least with the STI you get a manual unlike the Lexus but yeah the luxury factor from Lexus IS nice too. If I did get a Lexus I would have to go for the IS 350 instead of 300 because of the more powerful and faster V6 engine it has. I still think the STI is faster 0-60 but not certain. Both could be fun!
Thats one s**y car and probably the most reliable 4 door sports sedan that will last forever. They got a good following and also high after market value. Its closest competitor the Q50 is outselling the IS for now but this machine is awesome. The color is eye catching too
Good points! I’ve never been in The Q50 but would love to compare. I wasn’t expected this Red color but it definitely grew on me and lots of people made comments about it. Thanks for watching!
One thing that was poorly executed is the left armrest for the driver. It don't goes until the elbow of the driver, so a tad too short. It will be ok for short driver, but taller ones of my style will not be able to enjoy it. The driving position is, also, higher. With the sunroof, again, it makes it difficult for ultra-tall driver like me, you need to recline a little bit too much for my taste, but it's not uncomfortable. Those are the reasons why I aimed for the RC model. You sit lower, so the headspace is higher and you have a proper armrest for your left arm. (yes, sometimes consumer are twisted in their way to go)

Question - my is300 had this feature where when i would go close to the car or touch the handle with the keys in my pocket the xenon lights would open automatically but now for some reason they dont anymore only the LEDS open up HELP
I’m not sure what’s going on with that. Possible go to the main screen inside and look u see settings - vehicle - light settings or somewhere in there to see if there’s anything you can change

Yeah it’s a shame isn’t it. The turbo 4 is not up to par with any competitors and even mainstream brand 2.0.
its not supposed to be a sport car, its a faster than average luxury car.... we have the exact 2018 model and its super classy and pretty fast
To slow
Pawel Marcewicz I agree.
Too bad the car is slow
No kidding, wish it had more power.
Kinda weak.
Yeah, wish it had more power
Slow
Yep I wish it was faster. Could benefit from a twin turbo V6 or V8
Prime Autotainment It's still a great car.
I agree! Like you said main complaint is I wish it was faster lol
Car suck I bought bought and now want to get rid of it. 2018 is f 300 drive so slow!
Dang sorry to hear that you don’t like it. What do you think you’ll replace it with?
The car is really small and has no room. So I plan on getting rid of it and would like to get into a bigger vehicle. SUV or truck!
Don’t blame ya there. Good luck picking out the next one!
It is ugly, but with a nice interior. Rather have a BMW M3 over this.
BMW M3 would be great!
its not bad its just new design for our old eyes plus m3 is just different category or you meant bmw 320i m package that would be in sameclass
Turbo engines are a joke won't last past 200k miles
I also prefer a naturally aspirated engine. Could always go for the IS V6 👍
