    Kinda expected more hp from a 5.0 litre v6. Stay up GP. My daughter loves the show and she's only 3 months old. Keep em coming.

    • @caglioso
      @caglioso 5 років тому +8

      It’s a 3.5 liter V6. On the IS 350 it makes around 310 hp but on the 300 it’s detuned. It’s literally the exact same engine though, so if you wanted to save some cash you could get a tune for the 300 to unlock the same hp as the 350.

      @@caglioso how much does it cost to tune the engine and who can do that type of job. I'm deciding on both cars right now but I would be OK with the 300 if I can tune it in the future

    • @caglioso
      @caglioso 5 років тому

      Chris Faliao RR Racing offers the tune for around $500.00 and you can plug it into your ecu at home and DIY. Just be aware the most recent model they offer it for is a 2016. Not sure if you could still use it for a new model since there really haven’t been any changes, but you could give them a call to check if you’re looking to buy new. If you want more power they also offer an exhaust with the tune, though you can also shop around the aftermarket options to save money on that.

    Anyone know how much it is to fill up the tank on this car? I know it only takes premium gas so I’m curious if it’s even worth getting one of it costs a fortune every time you fill it up.

      That’s almost any premium car/brand. Unless it’s a hybrid. If you don’t want to pay premium gas then don’t look at buying premium cars. Toyotas make great cars also and don’t need premium gas.

    The Japanese's approach to "balance" and "fluid dynamics" and the whole spiel about "not everything is about power" blah blah blah
    is what's causing their cars to fall behind the competition.
    Put in a forced induction engine in the IS already!
    For fuck's sake....

    Best looking Lexus. Only negative is the Mazda-esque single dial instrument cluster...out of place in a sports sedan, and cheap looking. A deal breaker.
