A brutal world necessitates brutal solutions. A society, by and large, is only as good as its environment allows it to be.
Could be said for the Dark ages. Made vast engines of war but didn't progress as fast in a lot of other areas.
Oh boy 2 hours of reasonable people having rational discussions, compromising and redeveloping a functioning society sounds exciting, said no one, ever.

too many zoom outs and close ups for my taste makes the movie feel very cringe.
That guy with the big head was actually a kid that has a type of Dwarfism that was bullied in school, so the director reached out to the family and gave him this role.

The War Rig in Fury Road sounded awesome, the horn on this War Rig is cool, not as loud, but a more "synth" like tone. I like em both.

I don't know if it's the lighting, motion blur or what, but this scene screams CGI. The editing is so undercooked you can almost feel the harnesses on the stuntmen. Feels mediocre.

The over use of CGI killed this movie.
Not the over usage of cgi, but the condition of films nowadays+the fact that it came out so many years after fury road+not many people were excited about furiosa like fury road+most people don't go to movies nowadays and instead stream from their homes.

Many, they are Dementus's minions. This scene is about the 2nd Warrig in supply mission, not war so they only have a small group of Warboys to defend it. Maybe about 15-20 ?

why does it feel so off compared to fury road?? even the color palette seems strange. Everything just feels like a weird Chinese knock off compared to the other movie we got….

@@tanadarko6991 I am a big fan of the Mad Max series and honestly maybe it was my mistake, comparing it to fury Road because that’s in a tone category. This movie feels like a spinoff TV series in terms of the skill and overall quality.
weird, I thought this one was better than fury road. fury road had better special effects, but as a film, overall this one was better. Had a great villain, great tone, and without sacrificing the great action we got in the previous film as well

@@Replica-Airgun-Loversguns seem better precission weapons but i assume the thunderstick has it's own advantages. A wider area of damage on impact and it might easier cause fires. Maybe these things are more effective against vehicles. They are also ideal for the kamakrazy attitude of the warboys
Having bullets doesn’t mean you have guns
1. Its road war. Meaning you need explosives to take out vehicles, bullets are just going to ping off (duh)
2. lobbing grenades and explosives is a way more effective to kill big groups
3. They literally use guns too
4. They're Mortifiers They're a rogue group they don't go to the bullet farm, they're bandits.
The green screen use was more obvious in this movie than the last.
in the last they litterally built the cars irl and drove it in the desert, explosions included
Bro Fury Road also had a LOT of vfx. These movies are supposed to be story books told about Max, they're not meant to feel real at all. Mad Max is the farthest thing from reality.
I thought it was just me who thought that way, the special effects in this film bothered me a little, they could have done better...

What a wonderfull asphalted road without any fissures or pits... I don't remember anything like this in pervious movie.
It was their in the first couple of scenes albeit in a less used condition, this takes place on a conviy route, in which furiosa ditches 5 minutes into fury road
The road has the insignia on it which probably means they maintain it since using it is kind of the main thing
Why it feels meh compare to the previous mad max?
Even though I slightly prefer fury road, I think this scene is the best action between both movies imo, except with the way this video cut out so much every 3 seconds

Yeah this is not a good movie to play with copyright edits since it ruins the pacing.
The War Boys seem to have some Krieg blood in them, with so much suicidal devotion.
In Fury Road they're portrayed more as fanatics that desire to martyr themselves in witnessed glory, here it feels like its trying to imitate that.
I liked the movie but the musical score was very bad. Like this scene would have been better with a score. I felt like the whole movie was silent which made it weird for me.

@@ramirezremUmm, no. Fury Road had “Brother in Arms” which is one of the best scores ever. Not to mention other tracks and were fantastic. They tried to rehash BiA before going to the Bullet Farm but even that was bad.
The little war creature is such a bad CGI, they should have put more effort into it
I know the stunts are all practical, but the cgi for the background looks super bad, like 10 million dollar budget film from 2017, can’t tell if it’s the lightning, but it supremely undermines the efforts went into the movie
Honestly, the mortifiers fight scene is where its at its worst, the other fight scene's look way better.
For me its the way to clean picture and bright colors. Maybe the FPS are different? It feels more like a TV adaptation than a movie to me. I dont think its bad, it just feels weird.

I'm surprised at how many of these comments are negative towards the film. I don't think the bad editing of this video does this any favours to be honest. In the context of the film, this scene works great with the more subdued soundtrack, giving it a slightly more grounded feel compared to other action scenes. This film was better than fury road for me, mainly because it had an engaging and sprawling sequence of events to go along with the action scenes, whereas fury road was more of one big continuous setpiece, which is fine, but I prefer when there's a bit more to it.
The only negative I would point out is that the effects are worse than in fury road, but other than that, this film felt more well accomplished overall. and let's be honest, the villain in fury road pales in comparison to the big bad guy of this one

Fury road was the apex of what can be achieved with physical effects. This relies heavily on cgi. That's why many feel let down by it.
Well its garbage
As much as the machines they were driving were wacked out with massive engines and wheels, all the characters had a ruthless level of response that match those machines in ferocity, its was like a symbiotic relationship between man and motor.
Here, the more "grounded" scene really just looks like they ran out of time at the editing table, and left those concepts pointed out in the previous paragraph at the drawing board.
It just feels more flat, less rumble and more fumble as all the whites boys are treated like they were trained by storm troopers.

Without music it all looks simply disgusting. It’s as if some pensioners are racing along the hospital corridor in wheelchairs. There is a REALLY lack of normal sound, it would correct this misunderstanding.

Pause/watch 1:18 and you'll see what I mean, I think it's lack of depth, shots feel like flat images layered on top of each other?
Oh yeah, they rely heavily on shallow depth of field throughout. It saves money on animation but gives away that everything takes place in a green screen studio.
I enjoy the film and that's all that matters.

It's a post-apocalyptic world. Guns are only mostly given to the people of higher status like praetorian or imperator. Giving a gun to war boys with suicidal tendencies is a wastage of both guns and ammunition.

The world building in this film series FAILS when compared to something like Mad Max 2, where only two characters on screen have guns, and they only have a handful of bullets left.

The movie is called Furiosa. The “A Mad Max Saga” part is no different from movies like Rogue One or Knives Out. They have subtitles like “A Star Wars Story” or “A Knives Out Mystery”. Or even Fast and Furious Presents - Hobbs and Shaw.

Haven't watched the movie yet, but man the 'action' scenes in all the clips i've watched seems really low energy compared to the previous films.

This movie is not as good as Fury Road. I still liked it, but was a bit disappointed. The horn on this WarRig sounds absolutely horrible. It has to sound scary and demonic, not like a UPS truck. They also nerfed the hell out of Immortan Joe. I also wish they would use less CGI and make it look more realistic. Beyond that, good movie.
Those War Boys are useless as lookouts. Multiple times, enemy appear few feet away from the rig, not noticed by anybody. Hey, I see enemy in the distance on front, look like XXXX. Few moments later, another enemy is climbing the rig from behind.

Not a bad movie, hardly great. I would have preferred another chapter in the Mad Max saga that was about Max. It's not like we all don't know the end of this story before we watched Furiosa after all...
The War rig looks like a brand new BMW truck!!! Would one find such things in a post apocalyptic world?
Just not good anymore. I knew it that fury road was the end of a great movie. Sequels or prequels just don't work anymore. Same with Gladiator.

honestly, speaking none of the actions scenes in this movie has adrenaline rush as Fury road in choreo, style, edit and music. It didn't hit hard both emotionally and visually. Fury road has lot of emotions

マッドマックス１と２が似て非なる内容になったのと同じように作品ごとに自立すべき。
I dont know what it is... but this entire scene is pretty boring to me. Sure they put a lot of effort into this scene... but after about 90seconds in i was so bored i skipped the rest.

Is there suppose to be little to no music? Why does the scene feel so damp? What happened to the high tempo actions from every characters, like they were all on meth and high octane fuel?
