Brother you got to like from me because not only is the truck cool, and in pretty decent condition, but when you cranked it I heard Rush playing on the radio station. Closer to the heart, two thumbs up
Looks very similar to my '87 B2600 4x4. Same Mitsubishi 2.6. Mine also has a Weber 38/38 and a Pacesetter header. Vast improvement over stock!!! Great looking truck and, if it is like mine, a blast to drive. Body looks to be in great shape also!!!👍👍
I had several of these great little trucks and the last one I owned was a 1990 Mighty Max v6 with 4 wheel dr and it would beat my friends 1993 chev. 4,3 v6 S 10 Blazer in a drag.
Those Chevy 4.3’s were dogs n the early years. My express van has a 4.3 Vortec which produces over 200 hp and is pretty powerful. I have an 88 power ram and it’s not gunna compete with a new car in speed and mpg. I keep it cause I luv how it drives, and it’s a snow bunny up here in Montana.
Fun fact the sport models came with the sportier looking horn with the little racing stripe whatever. The other models had the more older looking horn covers in my opinion with a little square where the racing stripe would be. The Mitsubishi might max or just Mitsubishi badged versions of these trucks which is what they actually were in reality had a nice little red Mitsubishi stamp inside the little racing stripe on the horn steering wheel covers in the Mitsubishi 4WD sport models.
1985 I bought one of these brand new. Kept it for a few years and then traded it on a full size F-150. I'm looking for another one of these ever since and you cannot find the d50 anywhere anymore when one does come up for sale it goes quick.
Funny thing. I was looking up something and this video came up as an image on Google. Thought to myself that it looked like my truck I just bought yesterday. Turns out, it IS the truck I just bought yesterday
@tytotheler92 I will certainly do that! He did blow it up, but put another engine in it. Seems to run decent but I have a few things to iron out for sure

You and me both brother I've been looking for one off and on for the last five six years and you cannot find these trucks anymore

I don't think that sportier wheel was introduced until later. It's kinda ugly anyways.

I've wanted one of these since I want to say 2012 or so. Very happy to have this lol.
my g54b 2.6L cold start rmp is too high (2,200 about) , the idle too low ... how to adjust ?
Do you happen to know what liftkit you have on the truck? I have the same model, and was looking to raise it by a few inches.
It was an old body lift. Not sure where from.

Wow! If you want, find me on Facebook I'd love to get updates on it. I knew the dude who bought it from me blew up the engine.
