Tekken should introduce time travel to the next story, so we can have a badass roster of deceased characters, return. A good guy Jinpachi & young Mr. Wang would be badass & their stories could be further explored. Also, a great way to bring back Heihachi!

Jinpachi is probably one of my favourite characters in the Tekken universe, not just from a technical standpoint. His story is so short, so simple, yet so developed, and it eventually leads to the fact that he's misunderstood by many. People see him as this evil force who just wants to annihilate 100% of all organic life (eat your fucking heart out, Thanos), but that's the possessed Jinpachi. Regular Jinpachi is the nicest, most empathetic and most understanding member of the Mishima family, who is willing to sacrifice himself in order for the better part of his family, his friends, and the rest of humanity to live on. I want him to return so badly because I want his story to progress more, but I'm completely accepting that he has been confirmed dead by now.
Honestly his character design and moveset and movement is really badass. I would love to see him be a playable character in T7 even if it makes no sense in the lore. Maybe he could just appear in a dream for his ending LOL

Your content made me buy tekken 7 and start experimenting with characters. I’m having tons of fun so far! I’ve never really played any real fighting games before, so I’m excited to improve. *an update, it’s been a day, and I’ve managed to find a character I like, draganov, and I’m working my way through the story.
Tag 2 was the best, biggest roster and best overall comptitive gameplay. Way way way to much mechanical cheese in t7 which is meant to allow casuals to have a better time. In turn it made casuals leave because they forget veterans can use that cheese as well lol I think 7 is the second worst tekken but his tag 2 content was the best
Most people playing online were mashing scrubs. They don't know frametraps, mid pressure, wavedash, sidestep,etc. So they didn't play Mishimas, Bruce, etc.

Yea I regret not using him more, I just played characters that I wanted to play but looking back I would've probably had less stress if I used him as a tag partner lol his combos did a lot of damage and were easy to do. SOLID charecter
You missed the most important thing - how much he benifitted of the rage system. Coming in with Rage doing d4 or u4 and it was GG. Not a single character in the game got a bigger benifit than JP because of how the scaling worked.

We can see how much he influenced (Boss) Devil Kazuya in T7. Devil Kazuya uses Jinpachi stance, can perform Astral Projection ( f+3+4 / b+3+4 ). Meanwhile regular Devil Kazuya gets Jinpachi's d/f+1+2.

about a year or two before the end of TTT2 era I use to use him with Xiaoyu and boy was it funny getting all that free damage lol. I wasn’t good with him though but he was fun.

In tag 2 my main team was Dragunov/Jinpachi. I had Jinpachi as back up for when Dragunov got low health, you can imagine why with his absurd damage.

In my opinion Ancient Ogre is the best boss character. Very versatile, interesting moveset , balanced and appeling design.

Jinpachi was the first Mishima I mained in the entire series since Tekken 1. Now in Tekken 7 and soon to be 8, I have graduated to Kazuya

Nina and Anna together or Lars and leo together or heihachi and devil Jin together. Those were some of the angriest times I've had or Bruce and Eddy. Eddy was easy but with Bruce Lord have mercy on the opponent

The main difference is the range, and the speed.
And Bryan is fully standing the whole time (so no high crush/evasion).

Never played tag 2 only tekken 5 or 4 with ogre i thibk( i was around 7 to 8 ) and this is one of those char that i really like the art style is quite cool and i wished he was in tekken 8, looks a bit similar to feng in terms of design
