The reason for the weird naming in TTT2 is because originally True Ogre was the first and only of its forms to be in the game, and thus was simply called in-game "Ogre". However, its first form was later added as a DLC character. Namco obviously realized they had gotten themselves into a corner by using "Ogre" for the monster form, so instead of reswapping the names, they came up with a new moniker for the humanoid form, and that´s how we got the whole "Ancient Ogre" shtick.
They missed an opportunity with Ogre in Tekken 7. Why would you give someone the Mishima flash punches but make the last hit a non-natural high? He also has one of the best i12 punishes in the game, but i15 is terrible across the board with the range issues. So few of his mid pokes are even worth using. Somehow one of the coolest characters in Tag 2 just has a bunch of janky properties that don't really mesh well.

I hope the bring TTT1's Ogre in T7. I mained him in TTT1 and man I miss his BLUE color from TTT1
I Just realize the haunting hawk is Hwoarang ‘s rage drive
Ancient Ogre so black he stole all the moves of the fighters.
He's green...
Ogre had, lee, baek, bruce, king, mardok, hyworang moves
Steve, Jin, Devil Jin, Jinpachi, Paul, and Michelle/Julia moves as well, to name several more.
15:43 this shit hits grouned at pretty good range
LowTierGod is that you?
His shield looks like an oreo cookie
My old main. I hope he makes it in Season 3.

What's up guys main Mon sui here
SWE Always becomes "sui"
Every single video is like that lol
When the boss is nerfed too infinity
He should’ve been a DLC for Tekken 7 along with jinpachi ! I didn’t like season pass 2 that much but if they put them in season 3 would be nice like they could call it the “History Of Bosses DLC” and we could finally get Devil Form / Alternate Angel that everyone wanted from Kazyua along with Jun/unknown great pack ! Please take my money at that point lol

Don't forget Jun, Michelle, and Forest Law.
JKF 201726 Jun besides, completely shitty clones
Still looking forward to the Prototype Jack video. :)
JKF 201726 he did one for TTT1
I meant for Tekken Tag Tournament 2, where he was given some much-needed new tools.
JKF 201726 I see
Its all ogre now
Really wish I was around when Tag 2 was the main Tekken game. Now it's not very likely he is going to be in Tekken 8, not to mention Devil Jin will be gone too. I've always chosen the wrong mains... mained Michelle, and she never came back either.
Ogre is also top tier in tekken 3. I mean the top char, alone in the top. In tekken tag 1 he is s tier with mishimas.
And then this fucking game happened for some reason. If he ever appears again, probably he will be basicly the undebetable worst char of the game.
