      The Bible Project Hey guys, I'm a big big fan. You've been a tremendous blessing in my life. Thank you for your amazing work. I just want to humbly correct something from this video. Moses did not put the laws that he's written INSIDE of the ARK, but he put it BESIDE it. “Take this Book of the Law, and put it BESIDE the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, that it may be there as a witness AGAINST you;
      Deuteronomy 31:26 NKJV
      - ONLY the ten Commandments that God's written with His own finger was instructed to be put inside the Ark.
“At that time the Lord said to me, ‘Hew for yourself two tablets of stone like the first, and come up to Me on the mountain and make yourself an ark of wood. And I WILL WRITE on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets, which you broke; and you shall put them IN the ark.’
      Deuteronomy 10:1‭-‬2 NKJV
And you shall put into the ark the Testimony which I will give you.
      Exodus 25:16 NKJV
And when He had made an end of speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Moses two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone, written with THE FINGER of God.
      Exodus 31:18 NKJV
There's a definite distinction between the tablets that were written with God's finger and what Moses wrote, which According to Deuteronomy 31:26, were a witness AGAINST the people, Paul says were nailed at the cross.
-"having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was AGAINST us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross."
      Colossians 2:14 NKJV
      Handwriting- written by Moses' hand
Tablets- written by finger of God.
The reason why this matters lie in the meaning and purpose of the Ark of the covenant.
      Love you guys, blessings.

      ISAIAH 5 - DEUTERONOMY
“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”
      (Isaiah 5:20)
      WORDS BY: FATHER
"Never make holy what is not and never mistaken wrong what is right. My children do this so often because they live carnally which makes them justify their flesh. Sin and darkness does this and when you have been accustomed to it, you will begin to view things the way you see fit. Your perception of reality can be so far off from My truth, even to the point of denying My very words written in the Bible. When I gave the law the second time, I cemented it in Israel’s heart so they could differentiate and not mistaken right from wrong. This is no different from the words I speak and the truth I reveal to you. I give them to you so you may not fall into ignorance. If that’s so then why are certain truths obvious to some whereas others find it so easy to deny them? Hardness of heart. It is the same occurring problem since the beginning and it is why many people can live comfortably with evil and at the same time accuse the righteous for living the way of the gospel.
If you want to begin seeing the way I view things, untainted, humility is your answer. Today if you hear My voice do not harden your heart. Humble yourself to My voice in your daily life. I speak to you in more ways than you realize and if you have the eyes to see you will see Me in everything around you. You’ll see Me speak through others directly and indirectly, you’ll see Me speak through the things you do, and you’ll see Me speak through creation itself. Because you choose to give ear to My voice and not harden your heart, My perception of reality will be your perception and you’ll be able to say with all confidence, “The Earth is filled with His glory.”

Now Behold No, that was not predestination. It was already obvious that the children of Israel were continuously rebellious and spoke against God on several occasions. They were a stiff necked people. God knows everything, he is limitless, nothing is a secret to him. He already knew they were going to turn their backs against Him. He never MADE them do that. They did it by choice and free will.

@Love Floreal, that is the heart of the Father. Just like when we raise our own kids, if they don't listen to us, we know the kinds of things that silk happen to them. But we still love them, even if they don't listen. Even if they make us angry, we still love them. And if they come to their senses and turn around, we are ready, even quick to receive them back, and forgive their former disobedience, and bless them with the blessings we intended for them all along.

@Now Behold I don't think God was predestining Israel; I think He knew the outcome. In all of these cases of God "predetermining" He's talking about a group of people - in this case the Israelites. There are most definitely individuals who would choose to obey God but the masses didn't.

Greetings. With all due respect, the similarities exist because Muhammad knew of the Torah. He encountered many Jewish caravans in his life who shared with him the stories in the Bible which was an integral part of his inspiration in writing the Quran....

Can’t forget it: Muhammad has taken parts of the Bible and changed it. A human has made himself represent a God, therefore it is sinful blasphemy. The entirety of the Muslim culture is lead by paganism. They look at a man and call him God. I look at God and call him God.

Lest me not also forget: the battle is not in flesh, but of spirit. You, and mankind, are not my enemy. I do not speak of you negative. Our war wages in sin, smothered in evil. Mankind is just a vessel. Face God our Lord Jesus Christ and praise!

      Correcting Falsehoods
In order to distinguish who the real Jews are you have to see what Nation of people still have the Curses on them to this day that are listed in Deuteronomy 28:15-68. The Lord said those Curses would be on those people & their children as a sign and it would be forever.
      Deuteronomy 28: 45-46
      45. Moreover all these Curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the lord thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee:
      46. And they shall be upon thee for a sign and for a wonder, and upon thy seed
      for ever.
Now lets check out the people that presently call themselves Jews, which are white. A lot of people don't know that Jewish people have their hands in the Media, Congress, Courts, Homeland Security, Military, Big Name Corporations, and Education to name a few..
So the Lord said there would be a sign to let you know who the Jews were because of the oppression and affliction that would be on them and their children forever.
...🤔Doesn't sound like the Jewish people are under any Curses to me. In fact their in one of the top spots in the country as far as wealth & success goes.
In Revelation, the very last book of the Bible Jesus says..
      Revelation 2:9
      9. I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
      Revelation 3:9
      9. Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
      • The Jewish people worship at a synagogue & call themselves Jews.
      Just saying 🤐

The apostle Paul explains the Armor of God in his epistle to the Ephesians (chapter 6, verses 11-18).
In this passage, Paul explains how Christians can grow closer to God, while resisting and opposing Satan's attacks and temptations that threaten to hinder this growth.
Paul does this by metaphorically comparing the key aspects of the Christian faith to pieces of roman armor (as the Roman empire was in power and on top of the world in Europe, the Middle East, and parts of northern Africa at this time).
In short, Paul lists out six pieces of roman armor that just about any roman soldier could be seen wearing at that time. These include the girdle/belt, breastplate, shoes/sandals, shield, helmet, and sword (gladius).
The belt symbolizes truth, as the Christian faith begins when one seeks out the truth of God and His ways. This was the first and innermost piece of armor to be put on. Also, if the soldier was wearing a longer robe or tunic underneath, he could "gird up his loins," which meant tying the ends of the tunic or robe around his upper thighs, then holding them in place with a belt. This freed up the legs to increase mobility, while helping the soldier to be more prepared for battle. Likewise, greater knowledge and wisdom in the truth of the scriptures sets a believer free from whatever deceptions they were previously bound by before their increased knowledge of the scripture revealed the falsehoods of the deceptions, taking away their power to hinder the believer's progress in his or her walk with God.
Next comes the breastplate of righteousness. Just as a breastplate protects your major organs, especially the heart, Jesus' righteousness covers your sins and protects you from Satan's accusations of your unworthiness or failures to live up to God's standards. This is accomplished by Jesus' sacrifice, which covers our sins with the shedding of His blood. Some also interpret an additional parallel with the reflectiveness of the breastplate symbolizing the Christian's reflection of Jesus' godly character.
The next piece of armor is the shoes/sandals of peace, which represent the gospel. This is the foundation for the Christian's belief, which is made up of the truth and righteousness of the previous pieces. Knowing about the truth of the scriptures and having the righteousness of godly character culminates in the gospel message, which brings peace from its good news. This peace provides direction, as the feet guide one's path when walking, and protect one's feet from obstacles on the ground, especially when having to cross landscapes with rough terrain. Likewise, the good news of the gospel allows one to go through life less vunerable to stumbling blocks and obstacles to living a godly life. Additionally, roman soldier sandals sometimes had spikes in them, allowing them to grip the ground better, just as a Christian equipped with the gospel can stand more firm in the truth than those without it, even in the face of persecution, either in the form of ridicule, criticism, contempt, or any other such difficulty in speading God's word.
These include the innermost pieces of armor. Next comes the shield of faith. It is more versatile and protects the user from harm in addition to the belt and breastplate or shoes (and sometimes shin guards underneath). Likewise, faith is another key aspect of the Christian belief and identity. Specifially the roman shield was large, rectangular, and often made of wood, covered in animal skin, and usually wet with water, oil, or some alum-like substance. While thrusts from the sword in the enemy's hand were blocked by the soldier's shield, there were also flaming arrows (the "flaming darts" Paul refers to here likely translate to the fiery arrows). Such arrows are believed to have been hollowed at the tips, which could be filled with tar, pitch, or some flammable substance to be ignited easily. These often came fast, and seemingly out of nowhere, catching a soldier by sudden surprise if he was not constantly vigilant. They were also designed to set on fire whatever they attached to. For the Christian, the fiery darts were temptations from Satan, which require faith for protection, and our faith in turn helps in our effort in the continuous pursuit of scriptural truth as well as godly righteousness. Faith must be constantly reinforced and reapplied in order to maintain these crucial pursuits, just as the soldier had to habitually wet his shield with the water, oil, or other non-flammable substance to prevent the flaming arrow from having as much of a devastating effect. If not moisturized enough in this manner, the animal hides on the shield could become qyite dry, and with dry wood as the only other component, the shield could be turned into a piece of kindlewood. If the arrow caught through, it could quickly set ablaze a soldiers shield, armor, or immediate surroundings, just as a single temptation from Satan could ignite further temptations and do further spiritul damage to one's walk with God. And just as the arrows flew with fast and sudden swiftness, so do Satan's temptations and attacks often come quickly and stealthily, without a sign or warning to them, but requiring a constant vigilance on the part of the believer to move the shield of faith to stop them and meet them when and where they come.
After the shield comes the helmet of salvation (since the shields often had a strap to assist their usage; they would have been somewhat bulky and heavy, especially for long trips in military campaigns and frequent use in battle). The helmet would then be put on. As roman soldiers are noticed and perhaps recognized best for their characteristic helmets, so are Christians to be recognized by their salvation and all the beliefs their salvation entails. Just as the helmet defines a roman soldier as a roman soldier, salvation, which is built upon acceptance of the gospel, defines a Christian as a Christian. The rest of the Christian identity mentioned so far builds up to it (the search for truth, practice of righteousness, and the peace, readiness, and motivation of the gospel). The helmet protects the solder's head, while the assurance of one's salvation (their progress in reaching it) helps secure a steadfast and reinforced assurance that the believer is on the right track in his or her walk with God and progress of spiritual growth. Some additonal possible parallels may include the eye openings. Just as the structure of the helmet partially restricts the wearer's view to see only what is directly or close to directly in front of them, while it may not allow them to see what is to either side of them. In this parallel, salvation is the ultimate goal of life, and it demands our focused and undivided attention, leaving little to no attention to other things, the worries, cares, and pursuits of this earthly life, which are not as important or significant, but could threaten to distract us from the ultimate goal of salvation if we are not careful.
Lastly, we have the sword of the spirit. This is a unique armor piece as it is the only offensive piece. The power of the Holy Spirit working through the christian is how the christian may "fight back" against Satan's attacks. The sword thrusts of the roman soldier back at his enemy symbolizes a christian using his or her scriptural knowledge of truth, aided by the Holy Spirit to call it forth from memory in order to refute the arguement or reasoning behind Satan's deceptions. Human reasoning alone fails, for Satan is brilliantly clever himself, and a master manipulater of truth, with at least a few thousand years of experience in leading souls astray. Rather, the Holy Spirit, aiding the rebuttal with His word against Satan's tricks, is the chief defense of the armor. In addition, the offensive property of this last piece of armor represents how God uses a christian to help others in the quest for growth in the walk with God, including other believers. The roman gladius is a double-edged sword designed for piercing and thrust-cuts to penetrate deep. The power and authority of God through the Holy Spirit and the scriptures which bear His truth penetrate into the hearts of men, with a sharpness unlike any other source of truth, cutting through everything but the central issues or matters at hand, often the deep questions of life and possible meanings for it. The roman soldier uses his sword to cut through flesh and sometimes the armor of opposing soldiers as the truth of God infused with the power of the Holy Spirit manifest through the christian, cuts through the lies and deceptions of Satan's false ways and teachings to reveal what is true. A christian is mighty in his or her character and deeds when they tap into the power of the Holy Spirit, allowing God through the Holy Spirit to guide them as they go through life in their walk with God. The last verse (Ephesians 6:18) mentions the usefulness and necessity of prayer for better spiritual growth and resistance to Satan's temptations and attacks. Though there is no piece of armor symbolized by prayer, this could relate to the sword. As a sword needs to be sharpened time and time again for more maximized and effective usage and penetration ability, a christian must pray to God constantly, remaining in continuous fellowship with Him to maintain the spiritual growth and protection from Satan's temptations and attacks, and to maximize his or her connection to the Holy Spirit, which is the chief source of their strength and might in their walk with God and battle against Satan.
This is what I have gathered about the armor of God so far, from a few articles, to a few commentaries on Bible-Hub, to a video from a Christian youtuber. Hope this helps! 😊
