    (9:50) One thing I noticed during your video is that the hand could have been lit up nicer with an Aperture 120D, and I know that this is supposed to be a product video with TWO LIGHTS. Instead, you could have faced the lamp light towards the hand. Otherwise, everything is great! 👍🏻

    Hey awesome tip about matching exposure when going from 24 to 60 fps / I did not know I could but up the iso the same number to get the same exposure!

    Great job. I do have a couple of points though. Use a grid to reduce light spill, not to break it up and make it less aggressive. Perhaps you are thinking of a gobo? Also, a small light source produces hard light, not soft gradient light. Use a large source to produce soft light gradients. Check out Daniel Norton for better explanations. All in all, I really enjoy your vids, keep it up.

    Can you make a video shooting only using lights from hardware stores? Bit low-budget DIY stuff.

      I typically wouldnt use one light for a commercial that I would sent to a client only in very specific situations

      @@AustenPaul For sure, what I meant was instead of using Aputure products, which are over-budget when just starting out - maybe do an ad using something like Daniel Schiffers' cake pan light, or floodlights from hardware stores, something DIY that can still have a great end-result.

    I really want to do a video porduct...i don´t have a 4k camara capabilities...only 1080 (Canon Sl2) but is possible to do??? we are amateurs but we make the vest we can. Thanks a lot and bigs hugs from Mexico.

      Ideally you want 3 lights you label, top, and back light. If you have something powerful enough you can use your top light to also light your background. You also dont need to shoot anything in 4k most filmmakers dont it eventually will be standard but not for a few more years!
