Once I used my old lego motor to make motorized slider from standard, attached strings to camera, which pulled product into the shot. One of my first shoots, fun times))) Hey btw, you used autofocus in this video, or pulled it manually?
It's time to use the slider!
one thing I love about Austen is that he isn't afraid to show his mistakes, he just acepts and keeps going, shows us his human side
Just a regular person trust I mess up more then most people!
I didn’t even notice since I mess up everything I say but you are right 😊

It's worth it enough, Thank you 💖
Thanks! You are very easy and enjoyable to watch!
Solid man. Good work!
Just recently I’ve built and tested out my first camera slider using nothing more than roller blade parts, salvaged tracking lighting rails, and a piece of scrap wood. Amazing how nice the shots look and what you can get out of it! Thank you for making this video and inspiring some ideas how I can best use it for client work. 👍 I don’t have much to spend on gear like what you’ve shown here. Guess I’ll need to keep being innovative. 🤷🏻♂️
Second sliding shot was the most unique perspective. Congratulations on 100k!!
Yeah I like that one as well it almost looks like a robotic are movement if you nail it right!
Just picked up my first slider - really nice tips, thanks!

Another helpful video with great ideas, thanks man.
Awesome as usual! One note for sliders, if using the Rhino or any slider that doesn't have the motor in the case, make sure you pack it! I just had a shoot where I got everything set up for my B cam (slider) and realized the motor was 2,000 miles away. Luckily it didn't effect the shoot much, but it could have been bad. I'm usually really good with packing, but my Rhino doesn't have space in the provided case for the motor, so I overlooked it. I now have a note in the case that says, "PACK THE MOTOR!" I'll never forget it again.
Damn yeah definitely important can’t tell you how many times I have forgotten equipment always make a shot list!
Your behind the scenes camera work is as good as your finished product!

1) 7-9
2) 1/50

New Fan! Just Subscribed! How is the course different than your tutorials? They are amazing! You give so much for free!
Welcome stoked to have you! And that’s a great question, UA-cam tutorials are only 10 mins and I can only teach so much in that time frame with the course I go into depth and teach everything from running a business to editing color grading and a lot of techniques I have never talked about on UA-cam. If you look at the reviews everyone followed me here first and has been blown away on what they can learn!
That was a cool tutorial .. 😃
Thank you so much!
