This is suuuuuuuch a great tutorial. I want to learn product video techniques and this was perfect with a bunch of helpful tips I hadn't heard about before. This is quickly becoming one of my favourite channels. Good job kind sir!
Very cool easy to follow some of the terms and techniques I'm going to have to figure out when I get back upstairs and have the camera in my hands I took a lot of scribbling notes so we'll see what I come up with thanks a lot for the very educational education! 🎉
I’d say the light is so important in the shot to give it that cinematic look. Even the $60 lighting kit can make a big difference. The final product of the perfume it’s really cool!
I came here for the sexy music! It's interesting when I see certain photographers who have top of the line equipment that most of us will never see let alone touch or use. Then watch DP's like Shane Hurlbut who teach us how to use shower curtains and such for diffusion and now you with your low budget tips. There is hope for us all.
i still see the reflections in bottle's cap, if u zoom in a lil bit and look closely, u also might have noticed, how can we avoid it please answer?????
This was very helpful. I’m trying to do a phone product video and I’m wondering if you have any ideas or knowledge of how I would get a phone to stand upright without seeing any stands? Maybe a piece of glass behind the phone and just make sure it is completely clean? Thanks for this tutorial.
I saw some tutorials here about "wire removal" in after effects, I don't know about different softwares. You can use some wire or tube to hold it and then remove it like photoshop.
@@BradyBessette ya its on my radar but I don't need it now. Side note man you inspired me to go out and get some posterboards! Gonna get some foam boards as well
I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s great lighting for a short film but some lighting is better than no lighting so if that’s what your budget can afford at this time I’d say give it a try!
@@BradyBessette i saw the same lighting kit just with 4 light bulbs inside the softbox instead of one. maybe that is better? why don't you think it's a good light for filmmaking?
@@Champ.offisiell they aren’t very bright and it can sometimes be difficult if you don’t have bright enough lights. On occasion the 120D isn’t bright enough for me. Although those times are few and far between.
I cannot remember and I’m sorry for that. I do know I use artlist for everything, great resource. My description has a link to get going + 2 months free!

Would you recommend that 60$ lighting kit for making a short film? I want to invest in light for long term as well
