Just so everyone knows this DOES NOT work in bedrock
God... I hate bedrock edition. I would play on java, but I want to play with my friend, and neither of us want to pay for a server.
Just got all my resources started building got the water logging trap doors and came straight here

@@5rj655 Dude, I use bedrock edition. I've used it for nearly a year, playing on my friends creative world, and i have repeatedly invited my friend to my survival world. We are even close to beating the enderdragon. I think I have enough experience to formulate an opinion, and I have decided that I just prefer java. Sure, bedrock has some features I dislike, but it also has features that I like. The same can be said for Java. Bedrock just so happens to be the only way I can play with my friend. But because I voiced my preference for java, you see that as a personal attack. Where is the logic in that? Use your brain, and have a nice day.

I wouldbe never thought in a million years to use a boat and buttons to make a red stone timer. Genius
To get this to work in bedrock I had to push back the trap doors by a block and replace with a dispenser w/ water bucket. I had some trouble with the redstone triggering the dispensers on the bottom floor.
I used the afk platform of 45 blocks above the spawning platform (similar to a witch farm) and had to light up/spawn proof everything within 128 blocks spherical.
Then it worked like a charm on Bedrock 1.19.
yeah for a second I almost shit my pants but than I remembered dispensers exist so no problemo
bro.... you said 9x8, I did 8x9... then I builded again the front part to make it 9x8, and i just realized that is 9x7!!!!!!!! I HAVE BEEN DOING THIS FOR 4 HOURS IN SURVIVAL

Yes, I found 90 blocks to be the best height, where mobs will spawn more on the platforms and not in the caves below or surrounding areas

What is the purpose of the water at the top above the signs. I feel like I’m missing some context. The signs just stop the water from flowing down.

I built this farm for my hardcore work I like you incorporated a simple Redstone circuit to this build it very rare when you mob farms that used Redstone I will go afk to test it
Ok, since I’m in Bedrock I had to do a different timer system, rather than the boat. How long are the trap doors on and off for?
(Had to replace the trapdoors with pistons.)
Also why the water and signs on the roof?
If I place trapdoors on the roof, so will the gunpowder and string rate increase?

If you're on bedrock, just replace the trapdoors with observers
the water pass through the trap door now!

Can't wait to turn this into a creeper farm, you just need to place trapdoors on the roof of each platform.

@@itz.Am1r Due to hitboxes only creeper and spider can spawn on this. Ilmango has a few better designs for just gunpowder farms

What do I do if the farm doesn't work cus it was working then it suddenly stopped mobs were spawning and all the redstone was inntact

Hey, I love the videos, but I have a question for a completely different farm of yours - the 3.3 million views creeper farm from last year
Instead of digging that 16 block tunnel, if the farm is built in the sky, 200 blocks above land, then can’t the mobs just go into the hole and fall and die to fall damage or the campfires in the bottom? Anyways, awesome videos!

The boat thing keeps getting stuck on the pressure plates and the redstone activation doesnt go to the first floor qnd you mislead by saying build a 9x8 when in reality its a 9x7 plus the extra 1 block to put the water
For thoes who want more loot just remove fire and use a looting sword
Ps if you want to be automatic just use autoclickr

Maybe you can try remodeling the Redstone works where you can add dispensers with a water bucket and have a repeater for when you make the automatic timer, it shoots the water out to push the mobs in and maybe it can store the water away but you may have to extend the base to cover all the work on the back of the farm with extra blocks, maybe a stack of cobblestone or 2 may do the trick so that you don't have any mob messing with your Redstone work, just cover the Redstone work with one layer of blocks, do not make some space where mobs can spawn in, but maybe that can work? I'm just working on mine rn to see if it works. I'll probably update this comment later
But also that would be 36 about dispensers so thats a lot of bows, I'd recommend a skeleton spawner farm or just have a sword with looting III to just kill a lot of skeletons and hopefully they drop the bows for u to make the dispensers
Crazy, I feel like bedrock is like the harder version of mc compared to Java bc of all them benefits that they have that we don't got
It didn't work for me, it seems that the boat is too light to operate the mechanism... if I step over it, it works immediately. Anyone else with the problem?

This needs to be 9x7! NOT 9x8. Java 1.19 and it MUST be 9x7 to work. The captions are wrong. Save yourself a lot of headache when building this in survival.

Idk why but the farm doesn’t really work for me on Java, it produces very little amount of drops, like I went afk 90 blocks up for an hour and I had like less drops than you did after 10 minutes?
there are no mobs spawning for me, i build it with deepslate, is that a problem?

Hiii question, is it a problem that when I break open the farm to look inside there is a 1 block space at the edge of the water before the mob drop hole? My God I hope I didn't miscalculate this by just one block
Logic told me to fix it and make sure the water ran to the edge so I did and I thiiiink its working
