Wise words regarding social media use, friend! There are SO many weird things on the *Torah* sites. I get second-hand embarrassment sometimes with all the outlandish stuff that is shared. Know better, DO better!
I do too! Hahaha! People are crazy... I think once we "wake up" we are wondering what all we missed and can sometimes go too far down those rabbit holes!
Which calendar do you follow? I’m still looking at different ones.
Hi! We follow the lunar conjunction calendar based on Genesis 1 which tells us the sun, moon, and stars were given to determine the calendar. So the first new moon after the Spring equinox determines the first day of the year and then every new moon after is the beginning of each new month. Sometimes this gives us a 13th month (second Adar) so we end up celebrating much later than a lot of other people on different calendars those years. 😊
