I have been struggling to read my Bible for years! My Father's a Pastor and many would think I would know my stuff but it's been hard for me. I've recently been praying and talking to people (I just got back from a Missions trip recently) that I find the courage to read my Bible and not be discouraged. I went to church last night and this is something I was praying for, and today I found this video on my front page. This is great. I was getting so frustrated because I just started to get into my Christian faith and I couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong. I would read my bible, I would try to pray. But I couldn’t understand my bible, and i felt I was doing something wrong while praying. It felt not complete. He felt so distant. He answered my prayers. there's organization of people who get together to stalk and harass individuals all day. I'm one of those individuals. This stalking and harassing has been going on for years. At this point in my life, theyre so desperate for any reaction the moment i get out of bed they start bombarding me with covert/passive-aggressive harassment tactics. For example, the moment i get out of bed they'll start causing the fridge(yes the fridge) to make these tapping/clicking noises. And whenever i finally eat, the fridge would stop making those noises. They'll remotely taunt me in this manner for hours. Along with tenants illegally watching me to know when i'm done doing something to slam car door, or resort to some type of vehicle noise instantly after. The more i ignore their obnoxious behaviors the more noticeable they get. I mean you sense this desperation from these demonic narcissist trying harder to provoke any negative reaction. They literally use numerous different strangers to poke at me constantly. If you're a targeted individual you'll truly relate. Thank you so much! I too have not been brought up reading the bible. I started believing in God because I would go to church with my boyfriend or best friend and her mom. They introduced me to a world of peace and hope. Recently I have been battling with my faith and I found that it is because I did not know much about it. I would go through stages where I feel so lifted and joyful that I would be so dedicated and the next that routine would stop and I'd feel hopeless. Watching your video and starting from scratch has given me that hope again. Thank you again. I will definitely give these tips a go. Growing up Christian and reading many books on faith, I know quite well about the Bible but I really need to build a habit. I’ve been saying this for years. Agree with all the 101 points here. I read New Testament when I was in college like I was totally absorbed in the words, Holy Spirit enlightened me and I could connect the verses among chapters and books. Now I want to go deep, study the history, the meaning and really meditate on the word. I read the whole book when growing up but not for a decade. Respect you reading for years! A good easy translation I use for when I don't understand something is the ERV version, it's meant for people who struggle to read/ people who are learning English, it translates very exact, so some things are missing from it, which is why i don't recommend reading it on its own but using it with the kjv is very helpful.

I facilitate a women’s Bible study and took a break for the busy summer. Im new to leading Bible study and this content really helps me feel more confident in doing so.

I’m a community leader for a girls Bible study and we are reading through book of John. I had never actually read it myself yet so I’m learning so much along the way too. So far, great book about the power of testimony and Gods perfect timing in everything he does ❤️🍯

I am super grateful for this video...have been away from God for a long time...this video is what I was looking for! It puts everything about beginning to study the Bible and not understanding how in great perspective. You also hit on points of being overwhelmed by not knowing how to start or even where to start. I feel like I can do this now. I am alone and have so many struggles right now. I know I need God to help me...thank you for this video ..praise God! He led me to seek you out and gave me an answer to help me understand him!
My boyfriend and I are both wanting a better relationship with God. We decided to start out with topics that we feel like we are struggling with (finances, relationships, etc) we read the Bible everyday Wednesday, hopefully soon it will be everyday!! Thank you for this and sharing your tips too! 🥰💕

there's organization of people who get together to stalk and harass individuals all day. I'm one of those individuals. This stalking and harassing has been going on for years. At this point in my life, theyre so desperate for any reaction the moment i get out of bed they start bombarding me with covert/passive-aggressive harassment tactics. For example, the moment i get out of bed they'll start causing the fridge(yes the fridge) to make these tapping/clicking noises. And whenever i finally eat, the fridge would stop making those noises. They'll remotely taunt me in this manner for hours. Along with tenants illegally watching me to know when i'm done doing something to slam car door, or resort to some type of vehicle noise instantly after. The more i ignore their obnoxious behaviors the more noticeable they get. I mean you sense this desperation from these demonic narcissist trying harder to provoke any negative reaction. They literally use numerous different strangers to poke at me constantly. If you're a targeted individual you'll truly relate. A good easy translation I use for when I don't understand something is the ERV version, it's meant for people who struggle to read/ people who are learning English, it translates very exact, so some things are missing from it, which is why i don't recommend reading it on its own but using it with the kjv is very helpful.

Thanks for this! These are such helpful tips. As a Catholic, we have daily Bible readings, OT and NT, so I started with those passages. We also sing the psalms, so I developed a love for the psalms. I grew up reading the Bible, but I'm looking for other ways to build a Bible reading routine,

I highly recommend starting in genesis and the new testament at the same time. I do two chapter's of each everyday and it helps understand so much!
