It's taken 50 years but I don't wanna be spoonfed the bible anymore. I want to know God for myself.📖
I answered and said, "If I have found favor in thy sight, O Lord, show this also to thy servant: whether after death, as soon as every one of us yields up his soul, we shall be kept in rest until those times come when thou wilt renew the creation, or whether we shall be tormented at once?" 76 He answered me and said, "I will show you that also, but do not be associated with those who have shown scorn, nor number yourself among those who are tormented. 77 For you have a treasure of works laid up with the Most High; but it will not be shown to you until the last times.
78 Now, concerning death, the teaching is: When the decisive decree has gone forth from the Most High that a man shall die, as the spirit leaves the body to return again to him who gave it, first of all it adores the glory of the Most High. 79 And if it is one of those who have shown scorn and have not kept the way of the Most High, and who have despised his law, and who have hated those who fear the Most High -- 80 such spirits shall not enter into habitations, but shall immediately wander about in torments, ever grieving and sad, in seven ways.
81 The first way, because they have scorned the law of the Most High. 82 The second way, because they cannot now make a good repentance that they may live. 83 The third way, they shall see the reward laid up for those who have trusted the covenants of the Most High. 84 The fourth way, they shall consider the torment laid up for themselves in the last days. 85 The fifth way, they shall see how the habitations of the others are guarded by angels in profound quiet. 86 The sixth way, they shall see how some of them will pass over into torments. 87 The seventh way, which is worse than all the ways that have been mentioned, because they shall utterly waste away in confusion and be consumed with shame, and shall wither with fear at seeing the glory of the Most High before whom they sinned while they were alive, and before whom they are to be judged in the last times.
88 "Now this is the order of those who have kept the ways of the Most High, when they shall be separated from their mortal body. 89 During the time that they lived in it, they laboriously served the Most High, and withstood danger every hour, that they might keep the law of the Lawgiver perfectly. 90 Therefore this is the teaching concerning them: 91 First of all, they shall see with great joy the glory of him who receives them, for they shall have rest in seven orders.
92 The first order, because they have striven with great effort to overcome the evil thought which was formed with them, that it might not lead them astray from life into death. 93 The second order, because they see the perplexity in which the souls of the unrighteous wander, and the punishment that awaits them. 94 The third order, they see the witness which he who formed them bears concerning them, that while they were alive they kept the law which was given them in trust. 95 The fourth order, they understand the rest which they now enjoy, being gathered into their chambers and guarded by angels in profound quiet, and the glory which awaits them in the last days. 96 The fifth order, they rejoice that they have now escaped what is corruptible, and shall inherit what is to come;
and besides they see the straits and toil from which they have been delivered, and the spacious liberty which they are to receive and enjoy in immortality. 97 The sixth order, when it is shown to them how their face is to shine like the sun, and how they are to be made like the light of the stars, being incorruptible from then on. 98 The seventh order, which is greater than all that have been mentioned, because they shall rejoice with boldness, and shall be confident without confusion, and shall be glad without fear, for they hasten to behold the face of him whom they served in life and from whom they are to receive their reward when glorified.
99 This is the order of the souls of the righteous, as henceforth is announced; and the aforesaid are the ways of torment which those who would not give heed shall suffer hereafter." 100 I answered and said, "Will time therefore be given to the souls, after they have been separated from the bodies, to see what you have described to me?" 101 He said to me, "They shall have freedom for seven days, so that during these seven days they may see the things of which you have been told, and afterwards they shall be gathered in their habitations."
102 I answered and said, "If I have found favor in thy sight, show further to me, thy servant, whether on the day of judgment the righteous will be able to intercede for the unrighteous or to entreat the Most High for them, 103 fathers for sons or sons for parents, brothers for brothers, relatives for their kinsmen, or friends for those who are most dear." 104 He answered me and said, "Since you have found favor in my sight, I will show you this also. The day of judgment is decisive and displays to all the seal of truth. Just as now a father does not send his son, or a son his father, or a master his servant, or a friend his dearest friend, to be ill or sleep or eat or be healed in his stead, 105 so no one shall ever pray for another on that day, neither shall any one lay a burden on another; for then every one shall bear his own righteousness and unrighteousness." 2 Esdras 7:75

Amen and amen! It took me about 30 years!! ...AND praise God, after that it was and continues to be an amazing incredible walk with my father, God; His son, and my Lord and Saviour, Christ Jesus; and our companion and dear friend, Holy Spirit. Life is beyond amazing when we get to know our Creator and Saviour p.e.r.s.o.n.a.l.l.y for ourselves. He is such a true and genuine friend.
I prayed this prayer during a relationship with a girl. I felt anxiety throughout the relationship and kept playing this song every night. 2 weeks later the girl ended the relationship, leaving me broken and confused. I then ran to drugs, pornography, and success to fill the void. None of it worked and then quarantine hit. And when quarantine hit it helped realize that I was building my life on falling sand, so I finally gave my life to God. Fast forward to now, I can listen to this song and look back on that time when I was praying for God to put me in the fire, GOD IS SO GOOD. I'm praying the same prayer now but this time I'm living for God and wanting Him to use me to impact people for His kingdom.

I thank God for your message. I love the word of God and study it day and night. My husband went home to be with the Lord about fourteen years ago. And a little over two years ago, I lost one of my sons. He had a brain tumor. Grief can be very overwhelming... but God never left me. He is still comforting me and watching over me. As I'm sharing this, I'm praying that God will touch anyone who reads this message with his love and mercy. Time does heal all wounds, but it will keep you in perfect peace as you abide in the Lord. He is worthy of all our praise. ❤❤❤

I picked up the Bible and opened the first page that I saw and it was Psalm 121.

This could not have come at a better time. I decided to wake up at 6:15 a.m. every morning and dedicate that time to the Lord. The only thing was that it was becoming more of a checklist than actual time spent with God. Now, I have direction and purpose. Thank you, eversomuch.

@itssLaury I literally go into a specific room that I have in my home, with no distractions, and meet Him there. It's a if I'm looking forward to 'our date' time, and it's Him and me. After reading the Word, I ask Him about it, and TRUST in His direction for my life, specifically. Hope this helps! 🙏

5 Ps which helps in learning & hearing from God;
1. Position yourself to hear from God thru his word ...John 10, ' my sheep hears my word' with expectations (Psalms 27:13-14). Have a sanctuary to meet with your God.
2. Pour over the passage and write a paraphrase and ponder on the scriptures
3. Pull out the principles out of the scriptures; what do they mean.
4. Pose the question; the holy Spirit is working & answering in you depending on the authentic question u asked yourself!
5. Plan for obedience; intentional obedience to God according to what he's asked you to do!
We need to focus on one thing which is the word of God 🙏

I was up at 3:30 am this morning WATCHMEN hour frustrated because I wanted to know how to study Gods Word because I've never been taught how to study HIS word but I love reading but I would become so frustrated with the fact of how to start and study today people don't teach the basics to the new of people who never knew how to read the Bible. And I watched this video and took notes. After she finished I cried I cried because THE FATHER knows where I am struggling at and how I am so easily distracted by life and He knows I want to learn how to study Hos word and not throw the book down with frustration and wait days weeks maybe even months to try it again. I cannot tell you how much this has helped me. I started out planning to pin this message to watch later and could not stop watching. I'm so glad I came across this video tonight. I have been trying to figure out how to read, study and meditate on God's Word for myself. I have looked at and tried many methods, but this is the only one that has made sense to me. This is the only one that speaks to me and shows me how I can really read God's Word and cultivate a relationship with Him, while at the same time learning about His character and learning to hear and discern His voice vs the voice of the enemy. How I’m so emotional right now. What a word! What a message! Wow
I love this. I had a DREAM where I was on top of a hill that was attached to a building (I knew right away I was on a watchtower) and to my right at a distance I knew there was someone watching me; they were at the same level as I was but in a tree. I went down the hill and saw my dog that was alongside a busy street curb - we hugged and were happy to see each other but I held on so she wouldn't run out in the street. Then I climbed up top the hill again and this time I saw a huge screen TV to my left. Afterward, I went into the building and found a bunch of lipsticks - the more I kept searching, the more I found and I was so happy I found them. Nancy (means Grace) came by and I showed them to her. After I lost my Dad September last year, I sort of stopped my personal Bible reading time. I’ve had this strong urge since the beginning of this month (March) to resume that exercise. 3days after I heard a message that caught my spirit; I decided to heed to the instructions of God.
