The French and Idians, the Pioneers braved that weather. My hat is off to you guys. 25 miles plus in a day in that weather. We had heat and weather from Memphis to Vicksburg. We were done at the end of September. Thanks for your posts. You are real Voyagers.
Hey thanks for that! We couldn't help but think of all the people that had made this same trip all those years before us. Lots has changed between now and then but I bet the feeling of resting your head at the end of a long day's paddle has remained very much unchanged. Thanks for the nice comment.
You guys have more guts than I do. For me; roughing it means carrying things from my boat to my tent pad. Once my tent is set up, I go get ice cream at the gas dock.
