This is excellent. The narration and the images, everything top notch. I'm currently reading the series for the 1st time and it warms my heart to see a not so much renowned series get this level of love and care.
Thank you so much Patrick. I hope you're enjoying the series. It gets crazier and crazier. Personally, The Judging Eye is probably my favorite. SO many good scenes in that one. Appreciate the support!
Producing great work, loving it, great narration, well presented. The world Bakker has built is a breath of fresh air into the world of fantasy fiction.
Thanks for watching Andreas! You've got such great stuff coming up too. I loved the first trilogy, but IMO the Aspect Emperor series is even better. I appreciate the support!
Whew. The introduction to the Emperor and his court was another overload of names & info. I got most of it but this cleared up a couple of things I wasn't understanding. The Cishaurim sound terrifying.
This. This is what AI art should be used for. To see new comics "creators" use Midjourney, etc. to make sloppy, incoherent work breaks my heart, and it placed me firmly in the "anti-AI" camp. But seeing how this can be used as a tool to introduce readers to one of the greatest fantasy epics ever written mellows me a little. This should be the standard, imo. Great work, sir. I don't know how far you have planned this project, or how many parts it will end up with, but I hope it will go on for quite a while. Edit: grammar
Thank you so much for the comment. It really means a lot to hear that. I know there's some questionable things happening with AI right now, but I swear my intentions are good. I just want to share this amazing story with others. I'm not a filmmaker, not an artist, not a screenwriter, and I can't afford to commission hundreds of illustrations. Midjourney is the only way this is possible. This is purely a passion project. Thanks again for giving it a shot, and if you know anyone that does have art that would like to be featured, send them my way! I'd love to incorporate more fan art.
Thank you Qaztim! Midjourney is pretty frustrating. I'd say I keep one out of every twenty prompts. It's definitely challenging to keep characters looking the same. Thanks for watching friend!
Jason! First off thanks for watching, I appreciate the support. These images have all been generated using the A.I. program called Midjourney. There are illustrations from real artists littered throughout as well. They can be found in the description. Midjourney struggled with hands (still struggles with a lot of things) in the early days of the software. They've significatnly improved over the months.
The best so far easily. Your narration is captivating and your summary great. The art is getting better and better with some incredible results. I love Esmenet, Proyas, Xerius, Sarcellus, Maithanet, Inrau. Most of them. Only Achamian is more handsome and intimidating than I would expect. Awesome job!
Thank you for making these. Really well done! These videos will be an invaluable companion to the text. You nailed it with the artwork, and the narration is great. Subbed. Do you plan to do the whole PoN trilogy? What about the Aspect Emperor?
Thank you so much for the Sub! I appreciate it. I'm honestly not sure how far I'll make it. These videos are actually pretty challenging. In a dream world, I'll be able to do all of the books, but I can foresee some major challenges, mostly where the artwork is concerned. Midjourney is very finicky. Wish me luck! Thanks again. ❤
Hey Nathan! Thanks for watching. All of the videos are about The Darkness That Comes Before. Once I dive into book 2, (The Warrior Prophet) I'll make sure to update my thumbnails. Thanks for watching!
These are excellent. The Prince of Nothing is intricate, yet you summarize it masterfully. You are a talented storyteller. Thank you.
Wow, thank you! I appreciate the support.

@@cursedarmada88 Welcome, looking forward to the next instalment as I start on the third book.
Came here to once again say thank you for creating these videos :)
Thank you Drizzt! Hope you enjoy. Appreciate the support!
Exceptional work. Your narration is peaceful and compelling at the same time, even though there is no peace in these histories.
Thank you! I gave your channel a follow. Always great to meet another fan!
@@cursedarmada88 Likewise. Thank you much!
Yes, i havent watched this yet but i am already hyped, keep doing the aspect emperors work
I just finished the 1st book and you videos made my experience even better. Hope you will continue

The Cishaurim are super cool! You should be meeting a fan favorite character soon in the next couple chapters...
I love these so much thank you!!

great production, you are really getting the hang of the software and maintaining more consistent character models in complex scenes

Loving the art selections in this one
Great video
As many have commented, love the art along with the narration. That being said....what's going on with the hands in all these images??? LOL

@@sungazer333 Colossal indeed! I'm having a ton of fun so far. A passion project for sure. See you around, hope you like the next one!
I love your videos.
I have a question: are they about the first book? or the whole series?

Did you totally skip Inrau's encounter with the consult synthese and his fall? Wha?
Keep watching!
