This helped me a lot with some of the early info dumps. Thanks so much!
reading this book now so it's great to get a further understanding as I read through each chapter. TYVM for this!
Thanks for subscribing! Hope to see you again in the comments!
fantastic!
I was going to tell you about this channel, but I kept forgetting. Glad you found it.
Thank you so much buddy, I appreciate the support!
Another great installment.
noice one love it
These are excellent and I love them. I sure could've used them a lot back in time when I read the trilogy for the 1st time - it's probably the only book that I had to restart after 100 pages and start actively taking notes just to stay on track. I got hooked quick and easily after that - it was such a trip. Please, keep them coming. Cheers!
Thanks for watching! I appreciate it!
Same here! I can’t believe there’s a channel out there devoted to taking a deep dive into The Prince of Nothing books with such good narration and epic fantasy art. This channel deserves as much praise as it can get!
@@cursedarmada88 I am currently about 20% into The Thousandfold Thought after taking a break from reading for a few months and I’m struggling to keep up with what is going on. If you are willing I’d love to talk with you about it and maybe you can give me a more transparent idea of what is going on. Thanks again for such quality content!
@@jonahwebster1105 You should really ask the subreddit. r/Bakker is a great source for answers, and to be honest those people know more than me! We also have an R. Scott Bakker facebook group. Just be careful going to them because of spoilers!
Excellent. You are getting better with these tools
S tier videos mate.
Thanks for watching! The quality gets better with later videos. These first few were a little rough!
Great stuff!
Really good stuff Evan. Keep up the good work.
Just gotta share that I had close captioning on and Drusas Achamian came up as Juicy Sakamian, which is pretty much the greatest name ever. Back to finish watching!
Awesome. Thank you
Incredible!
Thabk you for these videos.
Dude these videos are so good
Thanks a lot for the fantastic video again, hope this series blows and and makes more people wanna give R Scott Bakker's masterpiece a try :)
Thanks for watching again Drizzt! I appreciate the support.
Also this is great, i hope you do the whole series. Would love to see some general earwa lore as well
I brought the book series based on your last video. Have you got any plans for anymore?
Jake, I sure do! This is a very large undertaking, but I'm going to do my best. These videos take me quite a long time, so the upload times might vary, but this is where I'm putting all of my free time! I'd like to do similar videos for other book series at some point too. Thanks for the support!
My favorite depiction of magic in a fantasy setting (is there any other setting that magic is in?) Bakker's description of it, using geometry and seemingly comparing it to philosophy brought the scenes using magic to life in my mind. The scene when Aka escapes the scarlet spires, with blinding geometry and the words of god is incredible really.
Thx for these just started the series and am about 2 thirds through first book. Not the easiest book ive read but very good . These help
It is confusing during a first read, and know that you're not alone! There was so much that went over my head. A lot of it still does in fact! I'm glad to hear that these summaries are helping people get a better grasp though. Thanks for watching! Hope you enjoy the books!
yea boooy
So how is the artwork getting made/created/generated? Its pretty damn good. Love this and all the work that went into it
Hey Charles! Thanks for stopping by! Most of the artwork has been generated using AI. I know there's some controversy surrounding the technology, but unfortunately we just don't have enough fan art! Luckily we have a diehard fan named Quint VonCanon who has a good chunk of art to use. (His pieces are the black and white illustrations you see) The program I use is Midjourney. Hopefully in the future, more fans get introduced to the series, and I can use REAL art. Anyways, thanks for the support!
A great recap, fantastic work. Apologies if this is stated somewhere, but where did you source the many excellent full-colour images, and are they Bakker-specific or appropriate only by coincidence?
Most of the artwork was done via Midjourney. Several are from artists you can find in the description. Thanks for watching! I appreciate it.
I wonder why hands is the one thing ai art cant get right
