I have the pedal commander on my 2019 2500 diesel and I've never had a problem with it. Lucky I guess. No check engine or anything. Great video, Eddie. 👍🏽
Just did this on my 17 4runner w magnusen supercharger 350hp. It makes the truck feel 1000lbs lighter insane. Run ours in Sport 2. The supercharger made it a 13.90 truck....the Pedal monster allows better launches and WAY nicer trans down shifting. I used to manual downshift EVRRYWHERE. Not anymore, the truck responds great now. The blower made the truck great, pedal monster was like a whole different animal. Alllll toyotas need this thing. Trac control off I can load up the converter, the trucks front comes up(no fromt sway bar lol) and ball the 34's for 30 feet from a dig crazy. I havnt downshifted the truck at all in a month since I put it on. Leave it in D and the truck downshifts lightning quick instead of lazy and slow(wearing bands inside) this thing probably extending the trans life bc of that. The Banks dude in Azuza CA told me the OEMS dumb down the throttles on purpose to pass a lame slap-throttle test w fuel dumping why our cars feel like bubble gum throttle.
These modules just re-map the throttle peddle. The problem i found was that the engine would reach full power way before the peddle actually hit the floor. Got annoying not to know exactly when i reached full power while towing heavy up steep grades.
Is your rig tuned and deleted? I call banks and mention that they didn't know and haven't tested on tuned and deleted diesels. What's I'm asking is will this work on a tuned and deleted LMM?? Thank you.
The app looks alot like the pedal commander app, I guess that's the product Banks bought and made it better. Ps, I also have the pedal commander on 2018 for about 2 1/2 years and never had a problem.

Why is it that there is a fault for reverse "Unable to determine gear" for the 5th gen Rams? Were you able to get the iDash's to display and record data?
So did it get rid of the dead pedal/spongy pedal? I have the pedal commander on my 15 aisin and have had no issues but there is still lag but definitely better than stock.

Just got it today and was trying to install on my 2019 Ram 2500 6.7 l Cummins limited with Samsung Galaxy S9!! It does NOT work with this phone . Blooetooth connection is the problem for some reason . Works on Samsung tablet S4 ,but reverse safety is not available and at the end triggered check engine light . All installation was performed according to Banks step by step video tutorials. Make your decision as you wish , but it does not work for me as its supposed to . E-mailed Banks ,waiting for response . Was hoping for better experience with Banks power.
This will work in concert with any existing tune. If your tunes fixed dead pedal to begin with but not when you floor it, then it didn't exactly fix the dead pedal did it? This product amplifies the existing program and makes it so much better. My truck is tuned and I have a throttle sensitivity booster, I can tell when the TSB is turned off and when it's in ludicrous mode. HUUUGE difference... Try it, you won't be disappointed.
@@jsav5845 I have one already, dead peddle is still there because it is in the tune. It is called tourqe management. A throttle commander only minipulates the throttle input. This will not fix the issue with suddenly stomping the pedal to the floor and the truck does nothing for a couple seconds. Not sure why my tuner did this but I have zero issues from a start it is only when up to speed if I mash the throttle it does nothing for a second or 2. I know torque management is there to protect the trans etc.
@@1smokan That's crazy, I've never heard anyone say that before. I just have a cheap bd diesel TSB and when I hit the throttle it goes right now. No lag whatsoever either from a dead start or while already in motion.
I just installed this today and the check engine light along with check service on the part I removed to connect it. I drove around the block and it worked well but I’m upset now that the lights are on! I removed it and unplugged the batteries in hopes it would redo the computers but it didn’t. What should I do Eddie?
2020 ram 3500 single wheel. I sent you a dm on Instagram too. The instruction page didn’t have the back page like your video so I watch another one and just connected everything. Hope I’m not screwed now on warranty
The on the fly is cool but with a good ECM tune the dead pedal/lag should be gone and there is ZERO need for a throttle sensitivity booster of any sort. My deleted 2020 ram works perfect with my tunes. Also I have two deleted ecodiesels with GDE tunes that have the dead pedal tuned out. Problem is with these newer trucks and anything adjustable the trans (any of em) are constantly adjusting the CVI's for clutch hand off (shift) timing. Constantly adjusting power changes the CVI's before it can adjust where it doesnt want to over run clutches.
@@Hm11_Gaming drd/mm3 on my 2020, it's still in the beta stages as the mm3 engineers are doing some changes on how the sotf power adjustments and sound modifiers work. So as of now it's only a delete/trans tune but no additional fueling yet. Should have already been done but covid slowed it down. Should be finalized in a month or two.
Some of us don't want to spend outrageous amounts of money for a tune. I like the ability to adjust as I please for the situations that I need to. I also don't want to wait a month or two when I can just plug it in and be on the road inside of half an hour.

Sprint Booster is also excellent. None of the Pedal Commander issues, plus they have a throttle lockout setting for security.

Agreed on the pedal commander. It messed up my throttle body sensor and through my truck into limp mode. I wouldn’t recommend it.
