Very informative videos I've learned a lot from them! Also your store and website are amazing I just bought a neglected home about 6 miles away so I will be making a lot of trips there. Do you have any opinion on those copper sulfate based foaming root killer / mainline cleaners?
+DIY Archives I prefer foaming root killer, which uses a herbicide with a foaming agent, not copper sulfate. Copper sulfate is only good for drains filled with roots. Otherwise it only coats the bottom 3" of the 6" sewer pipe to the city. Also some municipal sewer departments do not like getting copper sulfate in their treatment ponds.
I am needing to grade my yard away from my house. The area is about 18-20 feet long, behind my house. Can I use top soil in bags, such as those from Lowes or Home Depot?
@@MrHardware1 thanks so much. I have a lot of work to do in a short time. I just eliminated mole number 14 in my yard, which is 3/4 of an acre. I really appreciate your help.
I want soil so it’s 6 inches higher at the house than 6 foot away on the lawn so when it rains, water drains away from my foundation. I try to get cheap filldirt that has good clay content so it doesn’t absorb as much water as dirt wood.

I usually order a 3 yard truck per wall, and see how that pans out. That would be like 100 bags of topsoil.

Thought you were going to tell me how to add soil to the foundation.
