  • Grading your property is the second most important thing after shingles on your roof! A properly graded yard is critical for a dry basement. In this video I demonstrate how to grade interlock as well as soil.

    I have heard 1 inch per foot so a 4 inch drop at 4 feet.

    I don’t see how you fired it. Saying is one thing but does it really works? Surface water is manageable but ground water is another problem.

      Ground water is a completely different issue. In my experience, most problems come from rain fall and poor water management. Thanks for the comment!

      I did a hybrid French drain. It goes to the street on the front & to a gravel pit in the back! Thanks for the watch

    What is interlock?

      Interlock is a precast (pre-made) concrete stones. Similar to patio stones but usually the sizes are not all the same. They look like bricks but can be the same size or substantially larger.
