Lotus Elan 26R in Equipe Elan60 race at Silverstone - June 2024 - from start to pit stop in-lap

A privilege to be part of Equipe's unprecedented Elan-only race to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the 26R.
After a badly bungled start (must practice standing starts!) lots of fun in the thick of things with some lovely and well-driven cars.
Substantial changes were made to my car's suspension set up since Goodwood in April which I didn't have time to test before qualifying for this race. Oversteer is the best kind of fun but I think a little too much oversteer bias in the set up compromised corner speed a bit and punished a couple of moments of frustrated over-driving.
Some work to do to refine the set up and also to refresh my engine to close the straight line speed gap with the evidently more powerful cars.

We're doing our own 60th Birthday elan race on a video game, but won't quite be the same haha
