Why can't all UA-cam videos be done to this standard of production - good camerawork, clear audio, balance between voice and background music, bloody brilliant work as always you blokes! Looks like a fun weekend out with the toys, the boys, and the family too.
Because it's unbelievably difficult! I know - I've made hundreds, and eversingle one is imperfect in one of the ways you just described, either because it was unavoidable or because I didn't realise till it was too late to change it.
I am not a hater nor do I judge or care about the video quality when BOM is concerned, but I do wish to say that this wasn't on par with the rest of the videos. The focus was mostly in the back, you could see the lenshood in some shots and the audio was unbalanced in some interviews. I know it's a live setting but it can be remedied in the future. The most perfect parts was adorable twins, maybe future champs :)
I started watching the channel when you started project Binky and have watched every episode since, as you have branched out into racing which has been awesome, great driving BTW. The common factor is that you are a great movie maker in the way you make us feel we are there even for a few minutes!
Hey, nice T-shirt! Love the video and it's great to see a Kiwi motorsport legend making an appearance - it's been a while since I last heard Howden Ganley's name mentioned.
This was really cool, thanks for sharing! What a fantastic little car and it's a treat to be able to see it as in depth as we did. Wonderful restoration Bruce! The eventual problems just make it more of a race car, lol.
Anything you want to send, I'll consume. THANKS SO MUCH for the hard work it takes to do this. Howdy from the east coast of that place Columbus accidentally found.
Good to see another video from “Bad Obsession Motorsport”, started watching when you first started on the Mini, ten years ago???. Will be able to see the final results of that wonderful obsession driving anytime soon????. Thanks for this video also.
Absolutely fantastic video, enjoyed every minute of it. All of these videos that show behind the scenes of a race day have been brilliant: More please!
Wait till Nick finds out we have an entire form of motorsports known as bracket racing here in the states. Boy will he be disappointed to find out it's just drag racing where you have a target time and can't go too fast or slow lest you break out of your bracket.
Awesome to see BOM is their natural (ish) habitat. As a fellow racer, I can agree and empathize. That's racing. Nice to see Richard laying it down and nailing good lines before the engine let up, and good call on shutting it down, bummer as it was. Keep it coming, gents, we miss you! Cheers from Chicago, Paul
I worked in Motor Sport for 27 years starting in 1984 with a Lola T610 in the Thunder sports series...... So I remember a lot of these Car when they were new!!! Now they are Historic..... :-(( But I had a great life ended up working for Mcs in Woking.... Great vid Chaps.... And RIP Neil Brown... A real Gent and great supporter in the Paddock... :-))
what a Weekend that must have been!! yeah maybe didnt finish but looks like hell of alot fun and good times with familly an friends an best mates!! cant wait to see more in future
I'm so glad you got to do this and brought us along with you! I really enjoyed seeing you at the races in the City Car Cup (through UA-cam) and would love to see you back at it again!
What a great advert for the Silverstone Classic.Used to watch these cars back in the early 80's -Brilliant.HSCC events are always good.edit-Prompted me to book for this coming event.
Amazing race car there, and awesome videography. As usual. Thanks for sharing, just gotta say it again. What a stressful, expensive and hair-raising experience. I'm massively jealous. Prost, and looking forward to more on this project.
The only s2000 I remember seeing was at Road-America, at a Vintage Racing Event in the Late 90's was a BMW engine one. Knew a Couple of Guys That were running Formula Fords at that tyme as well, In SCCA Events. Vintage Racing is Great, & Remember to always Bring your Children & Grand-Children, So There can be a next Generation of Vintage Race Driver's & Crews.
Great event, great people, and the sort of cars that give me twitchy feet and that "dab of oppo" feeling. Right, I'm off to the shed to riveting some ali together!
Seen a few comments that weren't the most positive with regards to binky and escargot content. So i just wanted to say, thanks for bringing us along for all these journeys. Whether its binky, escargot, the c1, or the Silverstone classic, there is a real sense that we've been on the journey too! Fantastic channel and cant wait for future projects like the MG 😁
Epic video fellas. Gets me right in the racing mood. Me and the old man are taking his Caterham out on a track day at Cadwell in September. 250bhp Vauxhall redtop and slick tyres. Pray for dry weather!
Great video; very entertaining, with some really nice on-board camera footage. You both get extra-special Elli hugs for making me smile.🙂 Brace yourselves, boys - this is gonna get squishy...
Drivers have that universal hand gesture when describing how the car handles, how they raced with another car, how an accident happened, how fast it may be going... etc etc etc. 6:45
I just realised today that since the first episide of binky, i have left my career in IT, completed undergrad study, completed an intership as a paramedic, then got into and finished medical school, then finished medical internship and now working as a doc It's been a while guys... haha
The humility of Bruce to be apologising to you that he doesn't want to run an engine that's about to blow up, legendary.
binky??? escargot???
Binky being worked on right now. Probably penultimate build episode in production.
@@BadObsessionMotorsport👀👀
@@BadObsessionMotorsportok so only 4 more years 🎉. Haha.
@@Grimm-Gaming Just 4 more years? Hey, Binky is not a quicky...
@@robertharris7027 4 years till the next video! Haha. 3 years of brackets and 1 year of tuning obviously
Over TEN years of sharing with us and I still get giddy when I see a new release. Thanks for the ride.
Fantastic stuff, glad to have you back chaps
Thank you!

5 laps is better than no laps. That looked epic 👌
That was fantastic, thank you. My son and I really enjoyed watching it.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Dirty trick, you know what we all thought when we got this notification. Good thing we all love anything you guys upload. 😁
Thank you very much for taking the time to add subtitles during loud bits.
Very enjoyable watching a race car getting prepped, tested and evaluated while racing. The series on your Citroen race car was great too.
You guys are living the dream! Sincerely appreciate every video!

This is a blast from the past. I looked after five SC80's and 81s and well as a Group C Tiga about 15yrs ago.
Thanks for taking the time to video and share
It's my birthday today and a BOM channel upload is the perfect present!
Imagine the bracketry in that bad boy. 🤤

@@mikedrop4421 I was thinking about that and what his initial interpretation would be. "Wait, they literally race brackets?"
@@mikedrop4421 I mean, given he's done Rally stuff, he might enjoy a bit of it.
Missing a bracket that holds the oil pressure in.
Imagine how hard it was to keep Nick from adding one, or two, or ten.
Absolutely splendid work guys!
Great to be taken along for the ride ... thoroughly enjoyable content.
Trust you guys to be number 69... Great video. Glad to see you back again.
