I don’t want to purchase a separate computer to play video games on my downtime. Is there a compromise pc build and what would the best gpu be for that kind of build?
Good video. I have a question for you GigaGeek: My system is a Dell T7500. I am using for day trading and I am running TOS. System has 96GB of RAM with dual Xeon® 6-Core (X5690) and configured for all 24 threads. I have 4 monitors: 1 is 55 inch 4k TV, and other 3 is 1080P monitor. Graphic card is a RTX 580 (4GB). I want to upgrade the graphic card. What is your recommendation? Thanks in advance. By the way, I just reconfigured my TOS memory: min is 16GB, Max is 24GB. And I notice my PC is running much better, especially the TOS is running smoother.
Great video...thank you ! There's so many options to choose from how do you choose? Maybe on your next build you can show what parts you purchased that we could just duplicate. Anyways thanks again
Sure! I have a stock trading PC build video out that I posted around a year ago on my channel. And I also can custom build one for you, just email me at gigageektech@gmail.com! Thanks for the comment!
Your video is excellent. Thank you. I'm looking for a laptop for day trading. Which video card should I choose? NVIDIA @ Geforce RTX 4060, 8 GB, RTX 4070, RTX 4080, or RTX 4090? I'll attach maybe one or two side monitors
Currently trying to build my own battle station for investing but have no idea where to start cool video man literally covered everything I need to know.. except.. who shld I trust to build it for me or how can I do it myself .. I here it’s pretty simple what’s your input on that?
if you have multi screen, like here 6 , then you ll need 64ram 2x 32 so you can do low cl14. or cl16 rams at 3600 or 3800... and a 5950x ... im at 128ram 3600 and forced lower timings to get better preformace of them. anddddd. im running a 5950x. i came from 5900x and it was ok...but you feel the diffrence when you have 3 streams runnig , a few apps open and a windows vm on one screen ... you can do crazy things on the 5950x. and im on noctua 14 air ...it runs silent. expect when you render something intensive hahah i have a intel nuc extreme 11. with 64ram and 3x 2T m.2. as backup pc ... just in case ...this runs nice also but it can get loud from time to time. anoyingly fans ramp up for nothing 4min than turn down again ...
"ram" is not a quantity of memory. It stands for "random access memory." You're confusing RAM, which is a type of memory, with the quantity of RAM, which is measured in bytes, kilobytes, megabytes, gigabytes and terabytes. Unless you're using integrated graphics, screen memory is stored in GPU memory, not in RAM. That's why god created video graphics cards.
Hello GigaGeek, can you please tell me if the base model Mac Studio running windows is sufficient power to efficiently run a stock trading setup on a 57 inch ultrawide?
Great informative video bro. Thank you so much. I almost bought rtx 3050 8gb. But now i have rethoughts. Could you please recommend me a graphics card today as its been an year since the video posted? Main purpose is for high volatility cryptocurrency scalping. Kindly, please also advise whether refresh rate of monitors matter for high volatility scalping? Or it doesn’t matter if we have a good graphics card?
Dude you’re the best! Do you know if the NVDIA Quadro GPU would work with the LG 49” Ultrawide at its max resolution of 5k? This is my main monitor my second monitor is a 4k monitor. Tho it may be overkill, I’d like to utilize both displays max res outputs. Thanks in advance 🙏🏽
Hey bro do you know if you recommended dell optiplex for start make one I wanna start do trading or if you can make desktop with one optiplex they are cheap I just have I budget
Thanks for the info! Looking to buy a cheaper used pc that meets all requirements for day trading on TOS and DAS. Do you think I would do well to grab an HP Z2 Mini G3 Desktop i7-7700, 32GB RAM, 512GB SSD - Win 10? Thank you again 🙏🏽
Hi,Thinkorswim requires lots of rams due to their charting, Das lesser.32 is good enough,if you have more monitor(4 above) you need more ram up to 64. I7-7700 has benchmark of 8647, suggest get above 10k or 6 core will do. Xeons are dirt cheap nowdays.get those in used pc( been using xeon e3-1231v3 for 7 years still worth my $$). Hope this helps^^
If you daytrade, using 3/4 monitor you need 32GB is enough as you need scanners running as well. If you using 6 monitor, 64GB. It all depends what type of trader you are, and how many monitor you using. If your motherboard can support 128GB,go for it for 6 and above monitors.
@@kakashimouse6051 soooooo many questions to ask lol but do you plan on buying a new Xeon or can you change out certain parts to upgrade? I’m completely new to PC builds but I’m really liking the Quadro P629 graphics card, jst researching a budget friendly motherboard for it.
Hello Lill Bro love from india . . . i'm looking PC for Stock trading to run multiple brokers desktop app same time i want to run Algo apps simultaneously . . . . .
Would this quadro graphic card also help with mulltiple tabs live streaming playback as there are stock bidding & recomendation video channels as well as news channels wherefore the institutional terminal also run with high grahics and charts?. would you mind advising if I can connect 2 ultra wide 49" monitors and four 29" monitors for my trading setup. Kindly advise.
The size of the monitor is irrelevant. What's relevant is the number of pixels. No matter what the size of the monitor, all monitors in the same class (e.g., HD, UHD, etc.) have the same number of pixels.
