And hearing that description you feel bad about the situation and that is realistic, you do not see the atmosphere as something funny, it is sad and depressing, as at the same time tragic and horrible, many tourists visited the island to vacation but ended up being eaten. I know the trailer is better but I think the trailer did fulfill its objective of the game which is to explore and admire all the disaster on the island and feel bad about the situation
Supermexican Man I played the first game, and instantly got hooked, I am really sad that the second game has not come out yet. Because I just LOVE the atmosphere, and instead of raging, I ended up enjoying smashing those zombies brains. 😋
I think that’s how the World War z zombies work, too. They don’t bite the sick people. The walking dead zombies just keep eating you even if you are freshly bitten

The trailer for the first Dead Island was and still is amazing. I remember when I first watched it, man it made the hairs stand (still does). Its awesome that on the first level in the hotel you can find this very room with the parents.

There a few missions that change up gameplay besides go here and get this, but the fact most of the other survivors in the game don't...do anything outside of cutscenes really sucks. Luke one or two act as temporary allies, or vendors but that's it tbh
