perfect example of how a literal trailer can be an entire masterpiece
I'd like to think Techland really wanted to make Dead Island as emotional as the trailer suggested, but Deep Silver kept them from being able to do so.
They definitely came back with dying light
Wait, they really wanted to made the game like this trailer?
Makes sense because Techland prefers a more mature and gritty tone for their games, oppositely to Deep Silver
I like how dead island 2 trailer was all epic and stuff and this one's just sad
The end of the world is not about survival, but what is worth saving.
This video shows me that The past and present must always be appreciated no matter what
I belive i can fly 0:29
Literal tears and chills every time I watch this, if only the game was like that...
What makes this so emotional is the music. Really moving minor key piano and strings always hits the soul.
The trailer was so sad would have never thought it was for a game like dead island
I love the background music in this, it makes it really sad.
Its 2023. Finished Dead Island 2 a few weeks ago. This is still such a fantastic trailer. I remember when it came out i thought it was the most realistic looking trailer i had seen. Quality still holds upbpretty good. (Maybe besides that fire effect by the beginning 😅)
Ha after 2minutes and 10 seconds in the slow motion replay like the part were they give the child to the walkers
I don’t ever play games but I remember seeing this trailer and being shocked at how good it was. Still just as good this time.
1:35 Meet the Medic.
Guys I’m going to be honest
Ps3 was the golden age of great games and multiplayer games
This is sadder as Shepard's betrayal.
Only1Ducc no they r about the same level
Every now and then I keep coming back to watch this trailer. I'm not sure if its for the music or for the bitter cinematics, I just know that I'll be back.
This made me cry when I saw it all those years ago and now it hits even harder now that I'm a parent. This trailer was amazing. The guy who made it should have directed the game itself.
Just came back to watch it again after 8 years ish, still the greatest trailer in gaming history, yall have to admit that
This was chilling and made me cry when I was 7 still gives me chills puts into perspective what an apocalypse of the dead could do
0:44 jockey in l4d be like:😂
i come back to this video often, just a perfect video that shows such a short story yet its so emotional.
Dead Island Ip reveal: A sad, incredibly poetic story told in reverse. The story is told to morose music as we see the struggle of a family, who was supposed to have a day of fun, but it quickly turned to a nightmare.
11 years later: IM THE BOMB AND IM 'BOUT TO BLOW UP
this is still the best trailer of all time !!
I often think “what if the developer had put as much thought in to the game as they did the trailer?” 🤔
10 thousand times less money making a simple cinematic trailer than building good game mechanics. It is what it is.
Its 2022 and I’m here watching this amazing trailer still remember the day it came out and was so hyped about it, hope everyone is doing great!!
