      @@coke947If you can get one. Toyota’s build program is awful at the moment. $1K down, non refundable, and you might not even get the car you ordered. This matters since none of the dealerships have any on the lot. Screw that. Get your crap together Toyota!

      I got the Mazda… seriously considered the palisade and Telluride… but the dealers marked them up so much.
      Plus, quality of the Mazda’s materials are better IMHO and the gas mileage is far superior, not to mention the handling and performance.
      If you want a sports sedan but you have to get a 3 row SUV get a CX90.

    I own the PHEV premium Plus and this car is perfect for a family of 5. We run on ev 95% of the time. A great buy in reguards to you can run on ev for the price amd get a great 3 row + it looks slick.

    Hi, I am from Canada and I see a few differences between the model you have in the video and what we have in Canada. Assuming this is the top trim of PHEV, can you confirm it is a digital rear view mirror and it is a touch screen in Apple Carplay?

    • @QuarterSwede
      @QuarterSwede 10 місяців тому +1

      Digital mirror is $800 option and no touchscreen on the 10.25” on the preferred (basic) and premium (mid) trims. There is one on the 12.3” on the premium plus trim. However, their 4-way navigation dial is fantastic. I prefer it honestly and I’ve used a touchscreen only CarPlay system for 8 years. Also, the 10.25” is ultra widescreen and absolutely massive. Ex. it has 10 icons on each page instead of the standard 8. I wouldn’t want larger really.

    Question correct me if I’m wrong. You said the battery charges while driving, so no need to plug they hybrid at my home? I just bought this car and it’s currently charging cause it’s empty. Thanks

    • @David_Journey
      @David_Journey 7 місяців тому

      If you don’t plug it in, it can recharge using gas engine but that will be much less efficient than using an electric plug at home.
      Your car comes with a 120 V slow charger which fits any household outlet.
      Most people’s electricity rate is lower than cost of gas, so definitely charge it at home if possible.

    We got our plug in hybrid premium plus 2 months ago and just love it.
    We're getting 59 to 69 miles per gallon would just one fill up Per month, thankfully my wife drives mostly short runs to and from work. It is our third master in this line and they've really stepped it up and raised the bar.
    My request for the next one might be a Turbo on the gasoline engine to give you a bit more giddy up when needed.

      Lithium ion likes to be between 20-80%. Same as phones. However, there is a theory that they don’t actually charge fully to save the battery life. Not sure if that’s accurate or not but the research behind it is compelling.

    You made 2 agregous errors - first, the towing capacity for the PHEV is NOT 5000lbs, its 3500. Second, the battery pack is NOT under the rear floor, the spare tire is, which is by the lift up panel at the back isnt very deep. If your going to review cars, you have to have your facts straight.
