I love your colours! A good tip too is to spread a thin layer before pouring to help it move and keep the design, I also like to tape me edges and pull it off before it sets up so it has a nice thick edge ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I love seeing how you have changed over the years from simple acrylic to business women with your own products. Such an accomplishment, gives me hope for my future lol
Erika from Artist Till Death, calls it greasing the pan when you put a thin clear coat on first. 😊 Beautiful results on this pour. When you started tipping off more of the dark with that luscious gold in it, I was like, no no no. But it came out beautifully. Awesome job Marcy. 💜🤗💜😊💜
I just saw your work for the 1st time. It's beautiful!!! Keep it up!!! Naysayers are jealous/envious bc you're doing what they can't or most likely won't for whatever reason. Fear of failure, rejection, etc. Hard to forget the negatives, BUT keep looking up, going forward, progressing, being creative. DON'T let their words stop you from using your God-given talents for His glory & pleasure, & for people's pleasure & your benefit if you so share them with others...$$$??? You have God-given natural talents and abilities, USE THEM. That's why you have them!!! God's blessings to you all!!! And if this speaks to anyone else, then this is for you as well!!! 😇😍💙
Wow! I haven’t started using resin yet but, of all the videos I’ve watched, I’ve never seen a dirty pour nor a tilt done!! You just opened my mind to SO MANY new ideas! It’s just beautiful!!❤
Why thank you ❤️ yes, you can do it on canvas but I recommend priming the canvas first and make sure you tighten it as much as possible by spraying the back with water 😁
Hey Arelis, this wouldn't work as well on a vertical surface because the resin would pretty much all run off. On a vertical surface I would recommend using acrylic paint and then it could be sealed with resin :)
@@MixedMediaGirl I have a white table with legs I wouldn't know how to take the legs off to do it but I would definitely do the legs also it's not an Ikea table I acquired it from someone else but I just like to jazz it up somehow

I know, me too!
Yeah here too, in various blues, teals, golden sands, & whites!!! Aaahhhhh lol I hear many beaches calling my name!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Is this for your new place? It is a gorgeous ocean look!! 🌊 I really like the corner with the dark blue with the gold sparkles!! 🌟
LOL maybe, but for now it was just for fun :)
@@MixedMediaGirl Good luck with the move!! 💖 My least favorite activity in the world!! 🤮
Seriously it's the worst! I can't wait until it's over!
@@MixedMediaGirl I totally understand!🤗😍 Thoughts and prayers for a smooth transition! 🙏
Beautiful. Have a Wonderful Day. LGB Love CoCo
This is so beautiful!!! What did you do for the drips?
Love it it has a beachy vibe 🏖 so layering your resin doesn’t muddy the colors ?
I'm not totally sure how to answer that, lol. It has the effect shown in the video? :)
That would have to be the best thing I've seen on utube. I didn't know about this technique. Can you do this on canvas?
Why thank you ❤️ yes, you can do it on canvas but I recommend priming the canvas first and make sure you tighten it as much as possible by spraying the back with water 😁
@@MixedMediaGirl thank you for that.
Cool.
Can I use this technique on a Resin Tall round Planter? This is what I've been looking to learn. So happy I stumbled to your Channel.

❤️❤️❤️❤️
Any suggestions/recommendation on removing the resin drips?
Sand it
@@MixedMediaGirl Im scared. LOL!!! Is there any other ways?
Can acrylic pour be done on a regular plastic table or do you have to use resin
Yep, but then I would seal with resin :)
@@MixedMediaGirl I have a white table with legs I wouldn't know how to take the legs off to do it but I would definitely do the legs also it's not an Ikea table I acquired it from someone else but I just like to jazz it up somehow
nice!
What do you do for the drips on the bottom edges? Do they harden like that?
Sand them off
@@MixedMediaGirl Thank you!
You're welcome :)
👏👏💐👍👍❤️❤️👏👏💐
did you have to sand it down first?
Yes
What is in your paint cup before adding the paint ?
This is all resin, no paint (as a note, all materials are listed in the description and in the video itself 😃)
How does one clean up the resin cups after the pour?
Let it cure in the cups, and then just peel it out. 😁
First!
❤️❤️❤️
what is a clear coat
Clear resin with nothing added
I miss you Marcy.I've been very I'll..how are u
It’s pretty, but none of the gold shows.
It shows a bit :) it was the most transparent color, but it definitely wouldn't look the same without the gold
Is your heat gun adding cells?
No, it's making the resin more liquid and popping air bubbles :)
