In Zero, when helping Renne locating Colin, they found him playing chasing a butterfly, the following events resulted in Estelle, Joshua and Renne helping us win the battle against Joachim and, thus, survive, a great way to show the power of the "butterfly effect", top tier writing here

Man, that "KEEEAAAAA!!!!!" scream at the end, it always gets me, amazing VA

I remember playing through Zero and thinking it was kind of jarring (and sloppy) that Estelle and Joshua were in the final dungeon in the end game, but they were not around at all in the prologue. What a reveal this was! All the pieces were there, but I'd filed it all away until that conversation. Definitely one of Trails' best twists!

That's interesting. I definitely didn't think it was sloppy at all, personally. I just thought it was the game doing the typical "show a final-ish dungeon to entice the viewers" while keeping major spoilers out. Seen it before in other games prior, like P5 so I just never thought it was story related. Blew my mind that what I thought was a meta decision was actually story relevant.

@Av-8008 Maybe sloppy is a bit harsh, but it changes entirely the flavor of the narrative when you add a previous major protagonist seemingly on the fly and make absolutely no attempt to include them in a location they are absolutely involved in at the end of the game. The omission, for supposedly the sake of spoilers, could have been handled a different way, and it was too disjointed to me.
And that was apparently the point. It WAS disjointed.

So when KeA knew what would happen to the SSS, she accepted and used her power to alterate the future resulting to them meeting Renne, Estelle and Joshua, Collin getting lost and Renne helping SSS to find him, Collin following the illusion butterfly, Renne knowing the truth about what happened, Estelle and Joshua telling you about the auction (where you found KeA)and helping the SSS defeating Joachim and Renne saving you. That's the power KeA have.
If you actually look closely, you will also see Rufina in those memories

The part where silent devotion plays, if you brought noel, she would be saying people make mistakes and etc which really fits with her arc in this game

This is totally not relevant to anything but Mariabell looks gorgeous in that outfit! 😍

This was no boss battle. This was wazy and tio bullying mariabell (not that she doesn't deserve it)

    Congraz on beating the game!
The final boss really didnt like Wazy. But good thing you had mute immune equiped on Tio and Elie, otherwise you would end up like me on my first encounter. With my whole party being unable to use arts.
And the whole ending really made me despise Mariabell she is hell of a villain.
Oh, and Weissmann was the third anguis btw
While I have my issues with the game it still was an amazing journey overall with so many memorable moments and great worldbuilding.
I´m exited on your playthrough of the next arc!
Edit: whoops, I commented on the wrong video, meant to write it on the finale.

All good and I figured that was the case.
It seems like poor Wazy gets a lot of hate and I don't know why...
Thank you for the clarification on the anguis number! I didn't have my notebook handy at the time so I was running off of my memory and couldn't remember if he was 2nd or 3rd.

Honestly, while I love this game and it’s ending, the SSS’s arguments against the plan kinda fall flat for me. I mean this is omnipotence we’re talking about here, personal growth? You can just make people be like that without all the suffering and stuff.
That’s the issue, it’s kinda hard to make a moral argument against potentially *infinite* good. I get the feeling the writers kinda wrote themselves into a corner with it and just did the best they could to make some kind of counterargument.
I still really like the plot of the game as a whole and the ending.

The thing is, there was already a precedent that the previous Sept Terrion self deleted due to the weight of trying to fulfill humanities wishes as best she can without corrupting them like the shining ring from liberl and making people have personal growth from conflict artificially created for then sounds like a great way to make people resent her when they find out their greatest struggle and suffering is ultimately manufactured "for their own good"

    • @comeonandslamandwelcometot2418
      @comeonandslamandwelcometot2418 24 дні тому +2

@ You misunderstand, no conflict is necessary at all. They can simply BE post-growth. Remember that we’re dealing with omnipotence here. Also KeA could literally just direct the timeline down a path that does not lead to her suffering the same fate as Demiourgos did. This is why it’s so hard to make a good argument against it, omnipotence by definition means that pretty much any issue is preventable.

She isn't really fully omnipotent though. Otherwise Demiurgos would have never self deleted(and rhere woeld be no need for other Septerions). She can alter causility, but that's not something that can do everything.
One alteration of the timeline will lead to a lot of changes. Great, Guy lives again. But maybe that reality causes Lliyd to die, so we need another chsnge.
Great, now you need to somehow avoid Crossbell blowing up, another change.
Her alterations probably cannot create a perfect timeline for everyone, so she always has that dilemma, wvich will wvenrually break her.
And she can't direct it down a path where she doesn't self destruct.
This is like saying stop being sad when you are depressed.

@@comeonandslamandwelcometot2418 in terms of raw ability? Yes but not in terms of spirit, if an actual creation of the goddess can't stand granting humanities wishes all the time, a fragile child's heart wouldn't be able to do so either
