This kid doesn’t even have a band, yet has played with Ozzy, Aerosmith, Kiss, Steel Panther and others like bruh he’s lived the rock star dream before he can even drive!!
Sounds like Taj Farrant from Australia, 11 or 12 years old. check him out he's awesome he's a child prodigy. he's played with Santana and Rob Thomas and he's got all these guitars and people are sponsoring him and he can shred and tear up something let me tell you. he just inspires me that's trying to do the same thing hahaha LOL

Funny that was my second thought, after listening to him play! What a talent (plays 3 instruments too) and seemingly is a really grounded and nice kid. His parents have done their job by not only by encouraging and supporting his love for music but also raised him to be humble, polite, happy, grounded, and normal. Parents take a bow..too!

I’m 13 and I can play guitar and bass pretty well, am ok on piano, and can keep a beat on drums. Pretty helpful for my church’s worship pastor.

As an ex drummer in my youth with a band I started with my good friends....you, young man, are awesome! Brought back a lot of memories for me. Keep doing what you do!
Two things to say: This is what happens when you have the full parents support. Family and constructive, positive communication turns a kid into a wonder. There is an interview online with his parents.

Now I can say without any doubts that talent is real even though many people want to deny it. This is a clear example
Of course talent is real. But it's a thing you work for. It doesn't come easy to anyone. It takes hard work. But if you love it, it doesn't seem like hard work. To quote Thelonious Monk "You got to dig it to dig it. You dig?" You either really want it or you don't. But anyone can learn if they really want to. The idea that you or someone else just doesn't have musical acumen is wrong. They don't have the drive.
Young children seem to be able to pick it up like a sponge along with their developing brain and muscle coordination and that's why we see kids like this. If they're taught in a systematic way, they can learn. In fact, if one does not develop perfect pitch before a certain age, he or she will never have perfect pitch. You can still learn to recognize pitches but that's not the same as perfect pitch. It's a skill you must learn as a child. It's the same type of thing. Skills developed during the time of greatest brain development can develop faster and stronger. Keep that in mind if you ever have children or more children if you already have any.

I almost shed a tear there. This is what dedication and commitment can do for you. As the video progresses, we see level 11 drumming... and then he pops out a keyboard! More drumming and then he pops out a guitar! Something tells me that daddy is a good teacher. Whatever the backstory, he seems genuinely happy doing what he does. I'm only a little bit jealous.

Yes! I am brain dead I was fighting hard to play the drums playing for years. Now I have ringing in the ears, I'am jealous. You are gifted and people backing you up support you.I had parent not supporting me telling me to stop had people you will never be a drummer. Maybe I was but maybe to hard head to stop. I really love the drums and enjoy playing. Avery you're the man!

My sweet baby boy Jameson Kaine Damien Helton (bad ass name right?) at the tender age of 5 is getting his Ludwig pocket drum kit by Questlove for Christmas Thank God I have been able to get this for him because all he asked for from Santa was a pair of drumsticks and some drums for Christmas and this video is very touching and inspiring to watch it brought me to tears thinking about how bad he wants this and seeing through you his dreams can come true. His father and I are both extremely into all kinds of music but mainly diehard metal fans and mostly death, black, mostly all the "cores" lol and we'll basically anything that's rocks and all sub genres as well. And let me tell you this little guy is so musically inclined there's not a second that goes by where he's not singing or humming a beat and he's been that way I mean swaying to atmospheric black metal since he was old enough to stand up and hang on to the tv stand or furniture and just has it in his soul oozing out of him. I'm so excited to see his face on Christmas morning when he sees that brand new shiny drum kit in front of the Christmas tree. Its going to be the best Christmas ever. Thank you for your inspiration. I hope one day you can meet my baby and he you because I know you are one of his idols. He knows he can do it because he's watched you do it. Merry Christmas to you and your support system. You are very blessed to have them backing you. I can tell you are loved. Don't ever take that for granted. 🙌🤘✌️👏

Awesome dude… I’m 58 and just starting to play as I am getting more time towards retirement … I had a set of drums at 9 years old and then moved across the continent and we couldn’t take them. I’ve air drummed my whole life and now I hope to be as good as you were at 6 by the time I’m 62! I just got my drums set up two weeks ago! Better late than never I suppose!

I knew the second that I watched him, he came from a musical family. My son used to hang out with a friend down the street from us. His dad has a band and he began to teach his son the drums. They are now about 50 years old and he still plays with his dad’s band. This kid can rock them drums.

The child was very lucky to start very early and not with just any musicians, I started at age 7 to take practices and others with other more advanced ages. I congratulate you brother, for taking advantage of the opportunities that life gave you.

I’ve been impressed watching you, Avery, through the years. I came across your videos by accident several years back. I’m not a big rocker by any means. I’m a mom of a 31 year old daughter who today is a professional LPGA golf instructor. I think those moments of “fame” you’ve had as a young boy are reminiscent of my daughter’s accomplishments in golf as a junior player to an adult. It’s clear you are a natural and it will be exciting to see where you end up professionally. Wishing you the best and continued success! (A couple of my favorite performances of yours are “Hot for Teacher” and “Welcome to the Jungle”.)

Avery, I have watched for a very long time. I had 5 major surgeries and was unable to walk for 17 months and watching you play and the music kept me inspired and gave me the hope and determination I needed to get through each and every day. BTW My surgeries started in 2014 so I have been watching under this or my other channel since at least 2014. Your growth and progress is nothing short of amazing. I can only hope one day I can see you play live at some point. Keep great music alive and keep doing what you love and you will never work a day in your life. Thanks for all the music when I was down.
