Arranged by Jaume Vilaseca and recorded in Barcelona 2022.
Squire would be proud!!!🥰🥰😍😍
This is really good, and does exactly what a cover should do: reinterpret rather than imitate. Best Yes cover on UA-cam, and the only one I’ve seen that stands as a piece of music in its own right.
There is a guy on UA-cam that does a beautiful rendition of You and I on a Chapman stick
Wow! This is wonderful! Brilliant even. You kicked up the jzziness to a new level but let the essence of the song roil just under the surface. Love the Sax in the song, too. It’s like ‘Heart of the Sunrise’ by the Dave Brubeck Quartet.
Brillante... exquisito. Yes en clave jazzística.
VERY cool! Thank you!
Brilliant, YES gently nudged into a new level of cool.
That was outstanding…and who says Yes can’t swing 😂😂😂
Bravo!!!!!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Exellent, it's good to hear a different take on a great track. Love it.
.....lo trovo veramente bellissimo, quell'arrangiamento jazzistico, che conferisce a questo brano fantastico dei YES, una veste "fantasmagorica" ed anche incantevole....

Nice! Always fun to hear new versions of the masterpieces.
Una maravilla de versión. Mil gracias
Very nice un-cover. Great arrangement, playing and lovely singing.
This is so good
Extraordinario
Amazing . More .
love it
Magnifica adaptación
This was done so well, love it❤
Very impressing and full of inspiration!
Nice touch to a very difficult YES piece. Excellent job!
Really good! I love the moment the vocals re-enter at 7:01. Beautiful.
Splendida interpretazione, congratulazioni!
Buenísimo, quiero más y en disco ya. Grandes
Bravo
Gorgeous. ❤
Nice interpretation.
I will be recording and listening to this in my car.
Wow, the BASS, nice one
Brilliant! Different from the original, obviously, but captured the same spirit. Loved it.
Tremendo, me encanta.
Very cool version. I really appreciate it when a cover song tries to do something quite different.
Very nice. Almost looks like Bill Bruford playing the piano :-)

Bravo.
Not many people cover prog and make it their own rather than being a very precise imitation (that by the way will never reach the greatness of the original anyway, it may only equal or surpass it if creativity is applied), awesome!! Love the more jazzy piano and the fact that there is a saxophone solo :) Love most of the feel but I have to say that the ending feels a bit fast or is it just me?. I'm not a fan of robotic, metronome tempo perfection but was a bit surprised with the speed up at the end. Anyway, MAGNIFICENT performance and I would not mind an even longer version. Can't wait to listen to this again and for further uploads :)
P.S:
Where is the 6:19 snare hit ;D?
Really enjoyed the new take on this! Bravi! Love the acoustic jazz combo, and sax replacing guitar is fresh. The only thing that bothered me was that the singer (whose tone color was fine) did not convince me of the words. Granted, JA's lyrics are obscure.. . but he (and a few others later) can really "sell" them with great conviction.
Agreed! As soon as I saw the double bass I was excited for the new interpretation and sound we were about to hear, and it did not disappoint! I very much liked the acoustic piano throughout and didn't need the Moog replication, but it too was very well done.
I only wished it hadn't ended quite so quickly; the song was building up to a musical peak when they went right to the ending. I wouldn't have loved to see a longer jazz improv on the section after "chair that really fits you".
But I absolutely loved this and want to hear more prog interpretations from this band.
😮😮great
👏👏👏👏👏
bravo.
😍😍😍
bravo!

Roger Mir saxo alto
Jaume Vilaseca piano teclados y arreglo
Adrià Pinto Contrabajo
Estefy Chamorro batería
Ah you never know Yes could make a nice lounge music, eh? In the original version, you could hear nice interplay between bass & drum. Not so much in this version, because the sax is kinda more dominating (probably hard to make double bass sounds as aggresive as electric) . Still, a very cool interpretation :D
Great interpretation! It could benefit from a better mix though. The piano and sax are stepping all over the bass and drums.
How do I give more likes
Very good overall however wasn't keen on the sax, didn't suit the piece in my opinion as the original guitar part is much more flowing by nature of the instrument itself.
Nope
😍😍😍😍
