HTC was truly a pioneer in the Android world, and it’s kinda heartbreaking to see how they’re no longer a major player in the smartphone industry. I personally had an HTC One S and a One M8 back in high school, and honestly, they were some of the best phones I’ve ever owned. The build quality, the features, the experience-it was top-notch. If you ever had an HTC phone, drop a comment and share which model you had and what your experience was like. Let’s reminisce about the good old HTC days!
@@365VideoVault I had used windows mobiles in late 90 , htc previously used brand name Qtek before it renamed htc, also it made windows devices for other brands like o2, imate Vodafone etc.
Thank you for making this documentary really! This reminds me of how much I miss 2017 and my HTC One M7. Their marketing was withdrawn - quiet, there was some sort of spirituality about holding their devices. The way it felt...
I loved the manual camera controls on my evo 4g and evo 3d. Taking photos with manual controls where just much more fun then the iPhone point and shoot. I even used my old htc to do baby photos and parents loved it.
The first phone I ever purchase with my own money was HTC One M8 in blue color. I was deeply in love with the phone and still have it somewhere in the drawer.
My last HTC Phone was the Touch Pro 2. It was fun to use and the touchflo interface was really nice. After physical keyboards went out of style, i was going to get the HTC Max which back then was ridiculously huge, but instead got the similarly massive Samsung Galaxy Note 3 because it had a stylus. Been with Samsung ever since, but I do miss HTC.
You will be surprised how musical and hi-tech is the HTC 10 with expensive headphones, costing over 1000 EUR. I still keep coming back to it, despite the LG Quad DAC being superior...HTC is musical, forgiving with poor recordings...and still works fantastic with banking, navigation, etc. They can still be found new dirt cheap, sometimes as low as 120 EUR. With minimal apps and a 400GB SD card...a dream phone. I bought over 9 flagships from different brands and I swear by this phone, a true masterpiece. I visited showrooms and even listened to it with Focal Utopia, Denon AH-D9200...a masterpiece. The Sony NW-A55 walkman DAP, even with the modded firmware, gets annihilated by the HTC 10 in every way.
- 10 years ago, it's Redmi who started teaching us meaning of 'Android smartphone'. - Big companies : Sony, Lg, HTC, Blackberry, Asus, Nokia, Micromax also have failed in indian smartphone market. - it's not easy to beat "Chinese / South Korean" smartphones in 🇮🇳.
I got the m8 and did some photos with my model mom. They came out great despite being 4mp. I loved it. I blew those shots up and she put them in her office. Good phone. Not great but good indeed. When htc went to the m9 and then other crap, it was obvious, htc was over.
I had a HTC desire 10 pro. That phone in its time could do so much, i had access to top tier games, nice display and anice camera. Its sad that they fell off
I bought my first Android HTC Wildfire S and it's 2nd last HTC 10 which was a great phone i still have it in mint condition but it's battery is dead and their is no replacement battery for it !
The one m8 was a beautiful phone. They were doing the whole non removable battery premium feel before other android phones were. The speakers were really good. There was also a pure android version as well. This was back when people did not like bloatware on their phones and computers. Funny how things have turned out to be a decade later. Nobody cares about pure android anymore. This was also during the year when samsung came out with the s4 which people made fun of for looking like a literal band aid lol because of its dimpled back design.
I think it’s because premium phones are much faster theses days so no one really cares bloatware. And in all honesty, I’m proud of how far Samsung has come, in my opinion they were the king of bloatware 😅. Thanks for commenting it means a lot .
But they weren't brilliant, they were just quiet. Samsung made better hardware on cheaper price, kept on with the innovation as they created amoled and flexible display while marketed their phone well.
Android, at least in its truest form, died with HTC....and maybe you can also say Nexus devices. Now its REALLY just for Samsung diehards who have it simply to say they dont have an iphone...even though Samsung is now copying iOS.

I used HTC legend and later HTC one. They were best at the time

I’m planning getting more for the collection
You gotta keep that phone attached to a power bank as Snapdragon 810 is a horrible processor

Micromax is not a big company or a global brand.
@saitama4410 Micromax makes a comeback, every few years. First in smartphones, then electric bikes i.e Revolt 🏍️ & now in Smart tv's.
i remember back in 2011 almost everyone in the office were using HTC, a few lumia and Im still on Blackberry haha.
You forget to mention that htc also released 3d camera phone THC 3d Evo. Also company made phones by name Qtek before htc brand.
Yea but it gave headache to the users.

It's sad to hear that HTC now that HTC is now in the blockchain business, it's even sadder than if it went bankrupt.
True.
I miss HTC. They lost me when they stripped out the micro SD card slot.

My. first Android phone HTC Hero
A true OG
Are they not the new pixels now
No there are not but google acquired their design team.
Couldn't get over HTC so I'm now using Google pixel 😊
Definitely a good choice if you want a premium android experience.

I'm glad HTC started android.its far better than ios
All is not lost they can restrategize and make a comeback
These guys never used to spend on advertising.Their slogan was 'brilliantly quite '!!!
But they weren't brilliant, they were just quiet.

The got out classed by samsung. I just saved you 9mins
