@@jm036 Hell yeah!! Sense was just overall the most appealing and useful of all the overlays.
i still miss my HTC 8XT, I used it until none of the apps got updates anymore. The twitter app on that still had favorites even after they switched to likes. Windows Phone deserved better, i'm glad they're getting their comeuppance with Google being labeled an illegal monopoly, they artificially shut out Windows Phone from mainstream appeal by refusing to supply Google Services to Microsoft
I remember the days I was enjoying my HTC One M8. The specs were definitely top-notch back in the day.
I used to have an HTC and it was a huge deal here in my country to have one. Glad to see these back
I still remember buying my first proper phone, an HTC One, back in the day. God the joy that thing gave me
1:02 HTC been doing all them angles on their phones for decades..
Cyber truck copied HTC!
I'm so glad to see them back, my favorite phone ever was the Droid Incredbile 4G, and got the One M8 eventually too, if they had a slightly more affordable one now, I'd be all over that (probably about to grab a OnePlus 12r though)
This phone genuinely feels like a breath of fresh air. Plastic back so no need for a dumb case. SD Card slot. Headphone jack. Decent cameras. Good durability. Decent price. Seems like good repairability. Near stock android with nearly no bloatware.
If HTC could keep this up, they *could* make a comeback.
Plastic back is nice. The design is kinda boring and ugly though.
No need for a case?
I used to have a cheaper Samsung with a plastic back, and that thing was scratched so badly after a year, that I literally ditched the phone. Sure it doesn't shatter as easily, but can get really ugly real quick.
The Moto g stylus 2025 has everything of that for $399 😅
@@Cubano2031sd7g1 though, too slow
All the Best Wishes HTC 💙
I loved HTC as a youngin' and although I've moved onto iPhone, seeing this as a mid range lineup makes me excited for the brand again. The repairability, the materials already outshine others in this pricepoint.
The world's a better place when HTC makes phones
They won't make great looking phones anymore, Google bought their design team for their Google Pixels years ago
5:32 No balls? What a shame
My first two smartphones were HTC. Such a legendary brand, both in the smartphone and in the VR industry. Hope they stick around this time.
Front facing speakers still make sense to this day, idk why its not used more in phone Design.
HTC used to make such top tier devices and definitely the most unique ones you'll ever see. Sad this isn't one of them but hopefully one day they'll make a big comeback
Google bought their old design team for their phones
@@MainInternetUser years ago and then never utilized them for anything. Just the same boring Pixels as always. Bring the Nexus back, maybe then I'll be excited about a Google device.
Welcome back, you sun of a gun (no pun). Waiting to see HTC made some solid innovative phone in flagship Galaxy S24U/Fold5/iPhonepmax dominated space!
The best thing on HTC was that animated weather widget. I only wanted to have that phone, just because of that widget.
HTC Desire was my first android and smart phone. Still got it in my drawer somewhere.
I remember i had the M7 and M8. Never have i loved a Phone that much. Its Design was also amazing

You take that back. Curved screens are awesome and unique. I miss my S8+.
2:16 HTC continued making phones in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023. Y’all just forgot about them and thought they gave up
Real
I was about to say the same 👍
What the hell, i heard everywhere that they died, it wasn't good for their marketing for sure
@@Jake-kb2le They don’t make flagships anymore like they used to. U12+ was the last flagship
That's not a good thing if we all forgot. Means HTC is doing something wrong.
Thank god you aren't in their marketing team
My first ever smartphone - The HTC one X .
Back in 2011-12.
Still works.
Great to see HTC back in the smartphone market.
They never left..
NOTICE THE CASIO F91W on your wrist - GOD TIER!
Nico Leanard would agree 😂
The htc one M8 harman Kardon edition is my favorite phone. It was pretty cool. Glad HTC is still making phones
HTC in 2024. This year can be not that bad...❤
HTC has been making phones every year..
@@nickmotsarsky4382so why do they say that they did stop ?
